Suzuki Cup - Football to be enjoyed in a civilised way

The return of football fans to the National Stadium. This is how football or any sports is to be enjoyed by one and all, by families young and old. Little children and mothers could go together to the stadium to have a good time.

Compare these sights to what is happening in Europe when football matches are attended by mobs, hooligans, thugs and ended up with brawls, fighting and destruction to public places? This is the stark contrast between a civilised society and an uncivilised one. Would any mothers dare to bring their children to watch a football matches in Europe without fearing for their own safety and the safety of their children?

This photo a bit scary. Are we going to see a big spreader event when all the masks are down in Jalan Besar Stadium?  Photo credit CNA,  (Photo: Ngau Kai Yan)

Maybe not. We are using world best mRNA vaccines that the manufacturers have been telling us they are 96% or 100% effective. The  manufacturers can claim anything with no liabilities because of the non liability clauses. Also never mind when the US and Europe are getting big daily surges of infections. The vaccines are so effective there is nothing to fear. And for any manufacturers to dare to pump the vaccines in babies and children, trust them, they must be confident that nothing bad would happen.

We are very safe. Ignore those countries that are banning us or hiking up restrictions on us to visit them. They did not know what they are doing.

  1. Singapore's Multi-millionaires MTF ( Multi-ministry Terrorising and Forcing) know best. The are the world's best talents and most outstanding (outstanding in praising themselves and outstanding in waiting for hindsights).

Based on hindsight, how can they make any mistake?

Right or wrong, just take it as right. Then immediately follow up with praising themselves skyrocketing high, using all the propaganda machines available. Like that how not to be the most outstanding?

  2. Barbarians goes back to barbaric ways in the end. What are Barbarians good for? War, destruction and bullying.

Wash a pig as much as you like, it goes back into the mud. I think this is a Russian proverb.

  3. I gave up watching football long ago. In fact after Johan Cruyff's era.

Professional Football in Europe in particular, is a farce to say the least. How could big clubs not be championship material if they have the means to buy up all the best players to play for them, with exorbitant transfer fees and salaries. And what is left for the less endowed opposition? No contest surely! Just another con for the' fans' to pay exorbitant entrance fess to support their club, all in turn to afford those million dollar salaries of player's with big egos.

Think about it! As an analogy, can Raffles Institution not be the top school here with all the best students channeled into it's fold? It would be ludicrous if it cannot be the top school in performance. Right or not?

  4. During my time, the Ministry for Education selected only the First in the whole school in Primary Six, PSLE, to go to Raffles Institution.

The school definitely performed well, even though most of the teachers lacked proper teaching skills and knowledge. Plus they were good only in enforcing strict discipline. They were basically trainers rather than teachers.

  5. The MTF has committed and is still committing a heinous crime against humanity. Especially, OYK.

Covid not just causes blood clots in the brains, but may cause longer term aftermath like foggy brain, etc.

Some 13% of covid patients suffer from new neurological problems after their covid infection.

And half of these folks still continue to suffer 6 months after recovery from covid.

These are the based on infections by the older variants.

It is unclear what the aftermath of the Omicron will be like.

There are some suggestions that the Omicron is less likely to cause loss of smell or taste.

But we will have to wait a few more weeks to see what other countries are reporting as they begin to see fast doubling rates of the Omicron.

    1. As expected, always wait and see, and monitor closely. Always depend on what others have to say. Always depend on hindsight.
      Play it safe.

No need initiative. No need foresight. No need wisdom. Just play safe and collect the $millions every year.

      Gagi buta.

Job so easy. Just sit back behind the computer screen and post something on Facebook everyday. Job done. Year end obscene bonus guaranteed.

All the real hard works are done by others. Just give orders. If things go wrong, just point fingers. No responsibility. No accountability.

      Such a wonderful life!

Some more lasted so many loong loong years.

      Congratulations!

  7. Even thinking and planning, supervising and coordinating, writing papers and speeches are all done by others - from personal assistants, secretary and runners to consultants, researchers and interns from top scholarship holders.

Anyone put in that post will have no problem doing the job.
