Singapore is becoming a silly nation that betrays its own citizens

The cost of living in Singapore is one of the highest in the whole world. The cost includes bringing up children, education and housing. And when these children grew up, they would again be made to bear even higher cost to keep themselves alive, to pay for expensive homes, expensive transportation, and to pay for expensive education for their children. It is a vicious cycle of debt and increasing debt.

What made things worse and unbearable is that good jobs are hard to come by as many are given to foreigners that were brought up in a much lower cost of living country, paid pittance for their education and now being paid handsomely, a salary that would give them a comfortable life in Singapore or to return home to be the nouveau riche in their homeland.

On the other hand, the Singaporeans paid dearly to grow up, paid dearly for a super expensive education, but would barely find a decent job that could recover the cost of their upbringing. Even many administrative jobs that do not require rocket science skills were given to foreigners at the expense of Singaporeans.

Such silliness in a nation state is unfounded anywhere else inn the world. No country, no matter how low is the educational level of their leaders, would forsake their citizens for the good of foreigners. Everywhere, every country, it is always citizens first.

But this is not all. The unspeakable is that the silly citizens continue to vote in a govt that continue with this same formula, while their lives get from bad to worse, and they don't even know how to complain. They have lost the will to complain, lost the ability to complain, did not know that it is their right as citizens to have the privileges over foreigners for a better quality of life, better job opportunities.

The silly citizens now think it is their own fault for not being able to compete with foreigners, many of whom are frauds and cheats, and simply resigned to their fate to become drivers, delivery boys, despite their expensive education from so called world best universities paying world best education fees.

Can anyone see anything wrong with these silliness in this once a great and proud nation? Now it is a hotel occupied by foreigners and soon to be taken over by foreigners, invited to take over, with the silly citizens not protesting and accepting it as a fait accompli.

The silly citizens are accomplices to their own pathetic lives and their eventual demise.  They have only themselves to blame and to lose their jobs and subsequently their country, once they passionately called home. Now it is turning into the homes of foreigners, good jobs for foreigners, good and free education for foreigners.

Good riddance to the silly Singaporeans.

When the colonialists came to take over their land, the colonialists came with big guns. Now the potential new owners of this land are invited, brought in without any protest from the silly Singaporeans. They need not bring any guns to take over this island, only fake certificates and the generosity or stupidity of its citizens. What are the NS men protecting? Is there anything left to protect?

Why are so many highly educated Singaporeans being driven out of jobs in their own country when a few hundred thousands of foreigners with suspicious qualifications are fully employed here, in good jobs, in high paying jobs? In many countries this would lead to social unrest. But not in Singapore. Silly Singaporeans have lost their wits and will to fight for a better life. They only fought for a piece of paper and think that that is the best they could do. Perhaps no more strength left, resources depleted, too tired to fight further.

If you are highly qualified, why are you contented to be underemployed or unemployed in your own country when hundreds of thousands of foreigners are employed,...in good jobs, in your own country, brought in by the people you elected to look after you and your well being?

It is high time that Singaporeans elect a party that would put their interest and welfare first, priority for education, priority for housing, priority for good jobs. Many jobs do not need foreigners, especially govt and stats boards jobs. There will be a need for a few really good foreigners where our locals are not available, a few to be the catalysts, to be the pathfinders, to train Singaporeans in new fields, not to be here permanently, here not to train Singaporeans but to replace Singaporeans with their country folks.

Singapore is for Singaporeans, not foreigners. Singaporeans have lost half of Singapore now.  Can they afford to lose more before the whole island is taken over by foreigners?

  1. When, not if, Malaysia or Indonesia invade Singapore, there is no need for our NSmen to die to protect the island, as Singapore has already been invaded by foreigners, especially from India.

Just surrender and let the Malaysia and Indonesian armed forces come in to take over. Life may turn out to be better. It can't get any worse. It can only be better.

We might as well join Malaysia and become second class citizens instead of no-class citizens now, under this Pro-foreigners leadership.

  2. A country betrayed by its own leaders is very pathetically tragic.

The writings are on the wall. No citizens will fight to defend the country when its leaders treat themselves to the best standard of life, with multi-millionaires salaries, while letting their countrymen suffer the hardships of daily living, and at the same time treat the foreigners better than their own countrymen,

  3. But 61% voted for it.
61% think life is good under the Papinomics.
    61% would defend the country.
    61% would defend the foreigners.
61% would let foreigners screw their ass.
61% love to be canon fodder.

  4. Today the problem is not the lower educated group. This group is making decent income as delivery boys.

The problem is with the PMETs and the graduates, the post graduates. This group are suffering in silence. At best driving Grabs. At worse wallowing in self pity. At even worse, lost complete confidence in themselves and wilting away.

Thanks to the foreigners that came to replace them and steal their lunch, their confidence, their pride.

Cannot blame the government. The government is trying to help them by training them, to upgrade them to be cleaning supervisors or nurses or security guard executives.

  5. Not that Sinkies don't know how to complain, their complaints fall on the deaf ears of the mutes in charge. From young at about 5 or 6 years, they are starting to be brain-washed by the Party Against People. These children' books have the signage of the "Lightning" on their books as well as the kindergartens premises and others.

Furthermore, when these kids grow up into adults, their brains are "struck by the Lightning" wherever they go. They are strictly not allowed to protest or demonstrate in public, even one person carries a smiley is not allowed ! They will be arrested, fined and put into jail if they do so ! And recently, they created more new laws to control and discipline Sinkies who go astray or do not conform with the millionaire politicians' brains. The emperor and his gang paid themselves highest pays in the world, but do you think they are worth a million $$$ ?

  6. It's more and more common to see Vietnamese in Sg doing lower level jobs like making coffee in coffeeshops, working in salons, restaurants, some are so capable that boss make them in charge of a whole shop themselves like those shops that sell general household products etc...

If you have interacted with them, you will realize they are very smart with high energy...they learn to speak Chinese well in a short period of time...some of them actually work double shifts (16hrs a day) to earn more money...they remember regular customers like the one I buy coffee from know what I want after I ordered the 3rd time...they don't mind chatting with you if not busy at work...and you can tell that these jobs are just too easy for them after a while...which is why some of them are trusted by boss to manage the whole shop by themselves...

More importantly, I feel they assimilate well to the local culture and people...local aunties and uncles like to interact and chat with them...they don't seem out of place much...

Due to the above factors...I think we should go all in in attracting the best and brightest from Vietnam...they are smart, hardworking, with high level of adaptability...they also fit well with our local culture and people...it is a no brainer really...

  7. Jobs at the lower level we should welcome the foreigners here.

We should upgrade to higher level jobs. If not, what is the point of spending so much for our education, study so much, to upgrade our PMETs to become cleaning supervisors or security guard supervisors?

Instead they are helping the jobless and poorly educated foreigners with fake degrees to upgrade to executive and managerial positions here, to be the boss of highly qualified Singaporeans.

  8. When would the imbeciles set up a dept to place all qualified PMETs, post grads to jobs commensurate with their qualifications and experience instead of bringing in shits from third world villages?

Oops, imbeciles as they are, are unlikely to have the awareness or responsibility to know that it is responsibility to look after Singaporeans, not new Singaporeans or fair weather Singaporeans especially those that did not do their dues in NS..

    1. The imbeciles are unlikely to have awareness and responsibility? They pretend don't and they shirk their responsibilities. These are the kind of leaders Sinkies are having today.

But when come to claim for millions dollars salary, the Imbeciles are very smart. Some more can make use of Pa-lee-ment to cover up the leegally corrupt over the table, in broad daylight, corrupted manoeuvre to make themselves multi-millionaires within one year.

The foreign trojan horses come in big masses to occupy each and every jobs and spaces of Sinkieland, as Sinkies r mostly too kiasi kiasu kiabor & kiachenghu, worse still prior to erection Sinkies will juz kaw bey kaw bu then during erection Sinkies brain become brainwashed or spellbound that they marked a cross on the lightning party and their fate become destined for the next 4 to 5 yrs liow, so blame who but Sinkies themselves brains unable to be awakened cause there isn't an enlightened or chosen one leader to lead this sheeple..probably tkk or might wait long long for a Moses-like messiah to come to knock senses to the sheeple...May God/Allah/Buddha/Supreme Upper Realm guide these 'geewheez'Sinkies wake up one day & be enlightened.

This Party Against People is getting from bad to worse.

This is a sign that it is on the decline. I predict that it's downfall is very close.

It is likely to be fast, swift and sudden.

    Just standby and watch.

For better or for worse, change is necessary. Change is inevitable. Heaven has eyes to see.

They have already amassed enough money to last them at least ten life times, while the rest of the citizens are suffering, even threatened to be sacked and lose their livelihood and their families starved to death.

This cruel behaviour is getting out of hand. It has to be stopped at all costs in all ways possible.

We have been living with the COVID-19 pandemic for two years now. Businesses and individuals have been affected by the pandemic, and we have learnt to adapt quickly to new restrictions.

Although we still face great uncertainty, it is not all gloom and doom. As 2021 draws to a close, we can look back with satisfaction on the work done and look forward to 2022 with optimism.

I wish to thank the many generous donors, volunteers, social service agencies and social workers for stepping up their efforts to help the needy. I am also grateful to our frontline workers who have worked tirelessly to ensure that our healthcare system and public transport run smoothly, and we continue to have access to other basic amenities. I also hope that we will continue to be kind and support those facing mental health challenges.

I wish everyone a restful, peaceful, and happy New Year.

    1. Voter For Future GenerationsDecember 29, 2021 9:10 pm

This Indian woman by birth and throughout her adult life has been identified as an Indian Singaporean. Her Birth Certificate and Identity Card stated as Indian. Her application as candidate for General Election under the Group Representation Constituency Law was stated as Indian. When she became Speaker of the House, she was registered as an Indian. How come she can be a walk-over, unelected by the citizens, President that has been purposely reserved for a Malay?

Now, she is getting at least $6,000,000 per annum for six years.

And throughout the last two years, what has she done for all of us? What has she done for Singapore?

  14. The result is citizens have no allegiance and pride in their country. Nationalistic feelings for the country is absent. National Service becomes an obligated ordeal rather than exhibiting a patriotic duty of defending the country. Citizens do not feel proud to serve and some even tried evading.

The whole country is beset by mercenary mindsets, politically and socially. That is the ingredient leading to the downfall of any country going forward. No amount of campaigning or slogan chanting is going to arouse a sense of pride. Not when citizens are treated as mere digits to be replaced by foreigners in jobs and looked upon as inferior, even when they came from the highly touted Universities at home, compared to third world ranked unknown and incompetent universities from some counties.

  15. If one does not know what a rogue country is. Just examine Singapore today in depth.

Doing so thoroughly, will realise that on the outward facet of a fine city, the inside is rotting fast and quite extensively.

The hardware looks impressive but the software is infested with blood-sucking-leeches, devouring-vermins and destructive-viruses.

The country still thrive because of the momentum of the past successful policies and hard-work of the first generation of leaders and pioneer citizens, only 1.6 million people in those days. How come, with only 5% of the population educated, they could do it? They never import foreign talents. The hired excellent and sincere consultants. They never pay themselves by the $millions. The PM was paid only $8,000 per month. The other ministers even less.

This shows that the extraordinary huge salary scheme for ministers and top civil servants has brought about decline instead of progress. Decline in the software.

  16. Where in this world can you find a silly country that brought in so many foreigners at the expense of its citizens, to replace its citizens in good jobs, take away precious university places that should be given to its citizens and paid for the foreign students with taxpayer's money?

  17. Everything is about GIC and Temasek. The whole country exists for the sake of GIC and Temasek. Nothing else.

  18. A stupid country that provides good jobs to foreigners and condemns its own highly educated to become hawkers, drivers, security guards, food deliverers. And the stupid condemn continue to vote the party to power to continue to condemn them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It is because the condemn are so stupid despite their high education that they have to be replaced by foreigners, by cheats, by fakes and by conmen.

  20. The success story of Singapore is to depend on third world foreigners. So they brought them in by the millions.

In turn the foreigners would replace the Singaporeans in their jobs.

Then the foreigners brought in more foreigners to replace more Singaporeans in their jobs.

Then the foreigners would buy up the homes of Singaporeans. And the Singaporeans either move out or move to live in rental flats.

And the Singaporeans keep on downgrading and the foreigners upgrading.

This is the new success story of Singapore, success story of foreigners making it good here while the Singaporeans fade away.

    ReplyDelete
  21. But Singapore got a lot of millionaire politicians, all doing very well and getting very rich, and working very hard until no one knows what are they doing.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The silly are the citizens who keep on voting for a bunch of mediocre self-proclaimed natural aristocrats who deride them and treat them as their ATM as well as digits to be replaced by foreigners. The rulers are certainly not silly. They know what they are doing. Everything has been planned and mapped out. They are sinister rather than silly. It's the people who are stupid beyond cure or else plain selfish.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Citizen's greed lead to all this. They voted for upgrading to enhance the value of their flats, but all will turn to dust at the end of 99 years. They fell for the hubris and have not woken up since. Too late to regret. But please don't blame Hougang voters. They already suffered collateral damage for their sacrifice.

  24. Sinkies are conceited due to the Hard-work and Achievement attained by the Pioneer and Merdeka Generations built on the Strategic Location of Sin.
    However,
the Advancements in the Last Decades and more so in the Future has and fast diminish the Importance of Sin as an entrepot port. Due much to its' barren-ness and compactness, the Survival of Sin is going to be highly dependent on other countries. This is highly challenging to the People living in Sin. Unless one is a soughted talent, one is useless in Sin. And as far as Sin itself is concern, it is even much worse off than the lndividual Sinkies. The Tiny Barren Rock is so insignificant that whether or not it exists bothers nobody.
Yes, currently Sin is at its' last leg of glory. Once the Wealth made in the Past is spent, Sin shall be abandoned and shunned.
There are just simply many better places for others to choose from, than a tiny crowded barren rock that is too expensive in. Worse, it is hot, humid, boring with many diseases such as COVID, Tuberculosis, Dengue etc to contend with.
Day of Reckoning for Sinkies soon.

  27. Sin has dug itself 18 Storey into the Ground and happily digging deeper as it has little surface ground to develop further. Much of Sin is just slightly above sea-level. Imagine the Disaster when a surge of sea-level happens which is less likely than a power outage. What will happen to the Living Beings under-ground when a power outage takes place?
Lost in darkness, stampede and suffocate to death.
It is not desperation that drives the PAP Regime to into over-drive for development. It is greed, period. But, how much left for them to exploit?
    Obviously not much more.
    The End is near.

  28. One trick pony, only think of building and building and nothing else.

A flood underground means all underground mati.

It is extremely dangerous and foolish to keep bringing in people into this tiny piece of rock, to keep on increasing the population.

A major crisis of any sort would destroy the lives of everyone.
