Nuke Cub Deal Could Make Australia 'Potential Target in Nuclear War'

The US, UK and Australia have announced a new alliance named "AUKUS" to target China, and they even made a deal to provide nuclear submarines to Australia. Such a move will potentially make Australia a target of a nuclear strike if a nuclear war breaks out even if Washington said it won't arm Canberra with nuclear weapons, because it's easy for the US to arm Australia with nuclear weapons and submarine-launched ballistic missiles when Australia has the submarines.

The new alliance of three English-speaking Anglo-Saxon countries is not a surprise as they share closer strategic ties with one another than with other Western countries, and this is why France's deal of submarines was canceled by Australia as Canberra can get the nuclear ones from Washington and London.

The US is using the same approach employed to contain Russia in Europe after the Cold War to contain China in the Asia-Pacific region. Washington is building a NATO-like alliance in the region, with AUKUS at the core, and the US-Japan and US-South Korea alliances surrounding it, and the Quad at the outermost level, because India, not an US ally, can't be trusted by the US.

AUKUS is at the core of the US alliance system to contain China with extreme hostility, and it should not be underestimated. If Donald Trump or a Trump-like president returns to the White House one day, this alliance could bring unpredictable and catastrophic consequences.

The threat and challenge that China is being confronted with are critical and serious. The most shocking and dangerous message about AUKUS is the US and the UK will provide nuclear submarines to Australia. Biden said at the virtual joint press conference with Morrison and Johnson that "we are launching consultations with Australia's acquisition of conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines for its navy - conventionally armed."

At present, only nuclear-armed states have nuclear submarines, and a nuclear submarine is one tasked to launch a second-round nuclear strike in a nuclear war. So when Australia acquires such weaponry and technology, the country will potentially pose a nuclear threat to other countries, "because it's easy for the US and the UK to deploy nuclear weapons and submarine-launched ballistic missiles on the Australian submarines if they believe it's necessary, and Biden and Morrison's promises of 'not seeking nuclear weapons' are meaningless.

This would make Australia a potential target for a nuclear strike, because nuclear-armed states like China and Russia are directly facing the threat from Australia's nuclear submarines which serve US strategic demands. Beijing and Moscow won't treat Canberra as "an innocent non-nuclear power," but "a US ally which could be armed with nuclear weapons anytime."

  1. Washington says it will not arm Australis with nuclear weapons, then what are nuclear submarines for if not to be armed with nuclear weapons?

India is not trusted by the USA. India has been thrown under the bus in Afghanistan when slots at Kabul Airport were given to EU countries to evacuate their citizens. India was not given any such preference. India has better wake up. Of course the fact that India still buys most of it's weapons from Russia is a clean slap on the face of the USA itself.

India had already been played front and back by the USA. They were told to counter China in vaccine diplomacy by the USA and left themselves in terrible straits during the mass outbreak months ago. What did the USA do to help? They dilly dally with their aid, eventually forced to show their face when other countries were pouring aid into India. Member of the QUAD gets this kind of treatment, what else can other's expect?

  2. First Germany had trouble with the USA with NORD Stream 2, and now France is angry with the USA and Australia for coaxing the Aussies to cancel their submarine orders of some US$90 billion from France.

This is not the only occasion the USA had cannibalised the weapons industry of France and wont be the last. Was such action by the USA discreetly trying to tell Macron he better tow the line? Germany and France were the two EU nations having a less confrontational response to China.

  3. The white men are attacking Hong Kong stock market. The silly Hongkies/Chinamen are hapless, watching the white men destroying the value of the HKSE.

Can't believe they are so stupid and could not do anything about it. Or are they collaborating with the white men in their plan to destroy Hong Kong?

  4. North Korea warned of a “nuclear arms race” after the U.S. and U.K. agreed to give Australia technology to build nuclear-powered submarines, and vowed to take counteraction for any adverse impact on its own security.

“These are extremely undesirable and dangerous acts which will upset the strategic balance in the Asia-Pacific region and trigger off a chain of nuclear arms race,” the official Korean Central News Agency said Monday, citing a North Korean Foreign Ministry official.

  5. Maybe the Chinamen are setting a trap now, just like when they strangled Soros during the last financial crisis and caused him to lose billions when Soros attacked HK and the rest of Asia.

  6. Australia joining nuclear leagues is a good development. This huge islands can provide targeting practise for all nuclear nations. North Korea can now fire missile at Australia. France can follow also. Free targets.

  7. So big a target, hard to miss!

  8. Actually cannot miss because it is down under. When you drop you bombs daily, it only goes one way and that is down where the target is.

  12. This decision of letting Australia have nuclear submarines was just a secret decision agreed upon by the three perpetrators - the USA, UK and Australia.

No other country, even allies like France, that have their submarine agreements with Australia now cancelled, have been privy to their secret arrangement.

No country around Australia have been consulted about Australia getting nuclear submarines. This has created much annoyance in Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore and New Zealand as well.

Japan in particular is pissed off that their wish to go nuclear had been rejected by the Whites, while White Australia has been allowed to have their nuclear submarines. This is a clear indication of how they treat and value Japan - like dirt.

Suffice to say, the fact that they practically are prepared to ignore allies and tail waggers in making this secret agreement between the three White Supremacist nation tells us how little they value their EU allies and Asian friends.

  13. First they tried to bully Merkel to cancel the Nord Stream pipeline. What an outrageous demand. Behaving like a gangster.

Now they stole the French submarine deal with the Australians costing several billion dollars, a deal that has been going on for years. The food is in the French's mouth but the Americans pulled it out to put into theirs.

What a great friend, or ally the Americans are proving themselves to their semi colonies in Europe. They control the Europeans and now stabbed the French in their backs.

This is how slimy and low life the Americans are proving themselves to be. It is America First, even to cheat on their allies.

And the French could not do anything about it except crying out loud. At least Merkel could hang on to the Nord Stream deal. Macron is hapless, totally at the mercy of the Americans. This deal is gone. So just pretend to be angry and protest but of no use. Macron would lose his election for the next term for sure.
