An
online petition demanding the WHO to investigate the US' Fort Detrick
lab for the origins of the novel coronavirus garnered over 25 million
signatures and inspired people in the Australia, Malaysia, Philippines
and South Korea to call on the US to open its door for a thorough probe,
The US should respond to doubts raised by the international community
as soon as possible.
The petition was considered the loudest
call on the probe into Fort Detrick, when the US ramped up its
information war against China on COVID-19 origins tracing to serve its
intelligence-led 90-day investigation on the matter.
The public call has been echoed by more countries and experts as well as groups around the world.
A
South Korean civic group has sued the Fort Detrick biological
laboratory and the US Forces Korea (USFK) over the smuggled toxic
substances to US military bases in South Korea in violation of domestic
law.
Kim Hyun-joong, Chairman of the Korea Fire Safety Education
Culture Association, filed a complaint with a court in the country's
southeast city of Busan against the US Army Medical Research Institute
of Infectious Diseases in Fort Detrick, Maryland, and the USFK Commander
Paul LaCamera.
It claimed that the USFK and the Fort Detrick
biolab violated South Korean law and imported toxic substances into the
country three times between 2017 and 2019.
Filipino political
commentator Herman Laurel also launched an online petition earlier this
month to break the silence around the dubious lab, with more ASEAN
members joining.
"We already have signatures from Malaysia and
Australia. We are planning a media forum to announce our visit to the
local office of the WHO to follow up our petition," he said, noting that
he hopes to deliver a letter of request by Friday next week.
Thousands of Filipinos have agreed that Fort Detrick mysteries must be brought to light.
The
Filipino newspaper Pwersa mentioned that one of the most intriguing
reports concerns the early presence of a "strange flu" in other
countries and the mysterious issues such as the "vaping deaths"
emanating from the US around the middle of 2019. And those reports
emerged from the US revolving around Fort Detrick, which had been
ordered by the US CDC to shut down for "national security reasons" in
August 2019, putting the lab at the center of questions and doubts.
In
a new book unveiled by a former press officer of the Philippine Embassy
in the US, titled The Racism Virus Is Incurable, it listed a timeline
of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US, which could be traced back to June
2019.
The Spanish flu pandemic in 1918 was first discovered in
Texas before the virus was transmitted through the US military to
Europe. So the US politicizing the COVID-19 outbreak is like the Spanish
virus repeating itself.
With more and more new clues pointing to
the US on COVID-19 origins, a number of media and experts in the US,
Russia, South Korea and Japan call for an investigation into Fort
Detrick.
The WHO must not let the US government to walk away from its responsibility.
LIPS
PS. This is USA's biggest fear, the truth they tried so hard to hide in Fort Detrick.
WE DON'T WELCOME KAMALA HARRIS TO SINGAPORE.
ReplyDeleteKamala should have gone to India, very much welcome dear.
ReplyDeleteOops, isn't Singapore an Indian city?
She would feel very comfortable with Halimah, many things in common.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteSingaporeans, especially those who have lost their jobs to India nationals, do not welcome the India origin Vice President Kamala Harris of the Evil US Empire to Singapore.
She represents the Evil US Empire in her brain/mind and also, undoubtedly, represents the cunning India in her heart.
We have had enough of India meddling in our lives and livelihoods!
We do not need and do not welcome any additional mouthpiece of India.
URGENT NEED TO INVESTIGATE FORT DETRICK!
ReplyDeleteFORT DETRICK! FORT DIRTY TRICK! FORT DETRICK!
WE WANT TO SEE FORT DETRICK!
WE WANT TO INVESTIGATE FORT DETRICK!
FORT DETRICK! FORT DIRTY TRICK! FORT DETRICK!
IT'S A US MILITARY BIOLOGICAL WARFARE LAB!
IT'S THE PLACE THE US MILITARY DEVELOPED BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS AGAINST HUMANITY!
FORT DETRICK! FORT DIRTY TRICK! FORT DETRICK!
IT'S WHERE COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS ORIGINATED!
IT'S WHERE COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS SPREAD!
FORT DETRICK! FORT DIRTY TRICK! FORT DETRICK!
THE WHO MUST INVESTIGATE FORT DETRICK!
THE WORLD MUST INVESTIGATE FORT DETRICK!
FORT DIRTY TRICK! FORT DETRICK! FORT DIRTY TRICK!
ONLY THE DIRTY US EMPIRE HAS SUCH A DIRTY TRICK FORT!
ONLY THE DIRTY US EMPIRE CAN PULL SUCH A DIRTY TRICK UPON THE WORLD!
FORT DETRICK! FORT DIRTY TRICK!
It is USA's biggest fear that Fort Detrick's secret will be dug out, so at all cost must provide narratives to stick the blame on Wuhan.
ReplyDeleteEveryday, it seems more fabricated write ups have been released, using renown academics and scientific communities for better effect, to support their sick propaganda. These fabricated narratives will reach a wide audience, being manufactured for the purpose of global dissemination for maximum effect. China is countering, of course, but cannot reach the kind of wide audience, but it is attempting nonetheless And it is causing unease nevertheless.
It is comforting to note that globally, countries are realising the existence of such USA biological labs being set up outside of the USA. Those are a real danger to the countries hosting such dangerous facilities.
Like the testing of atomic weapons on Pacific Islands, the USA knows the dangers of such experiments and choose to site their facilities on foreign soil. Any mishap and it will just be brushed aside as collateral damage, and the host country will be left to shoulder the blame. How vile is their thinking?
Rolling stone gathers no moss, musical chair, kicked here and there like a football, newbie Hell Ministar OYT said very likely Singapore will take a 3rd C19 vaccination booster exercise. (To support the Bio-Terrorists?)
ReplyDeleteCertain groups of vaccinated people especially those immunocompromised people were mentioned as possible candidates for the 3rd booster shot.
What will be the implications and consequences?
"Profits outweigh the risks!" Big Pharma Bosses conned the US CDC corrupted people, who in turn con the American people and the World.
The siting of biolabs in foreign lab also makes it easy to use the citizens of those countries as guinea pigs by simply releasing the virus or chemicals into the community.
ReplyDeleteAnd the latest, before Covid19 is over they have released another virus in Guinea, West Africa, known as Marburg. Just as deadly.
The world would be chasing one vaccine after another, no time to investigate Fort Detrick to find the real culprits. It would be like the dog chasing its tail, a never ending chase.
After the 3rd booster shot, there will be a shot every three to four months, FOR THE REST OF YOUR MISERABLE LIFE!
ReplyDeleteThere is where the Big Pharmas will have a permanent regular source of become richer and richer. And their big investors like Temasek Holdings and GIC will be on the bandwagon to Paradise.... living happily ever after.
With effect 1st September, there will be a new CEO for Temasick.
ReplyDeleteThey join the evil doers to eat people money like that, then all there heads and families will become sick.
Welcome to Singapore, Vice President Kamala Harris
ReplyDeleteWhat's the deal with Fort Detrick?
We don't welcome Kamala Harris? Unfortunately, the nation building press and ST in particular have different ideas.
ReplyDeleteTheir contributor, the prof Tommy Koh, has an nauseauting bootpolishing opinion of the US and Harris in particular today. He writes of the fear of US abandoning this region but ignoring the US and allies concentrating their military fire power in the SC Sea is provoking China to war.
Not even a mention of the fault blaming and hawkish views on China from Harris' boss administration and US Congress.
The Health minister equating Singaporeans' concern about foreign talent competing for jobs as behaving rightwing politics when the Pro Koh's opinion piece does not even note the more rightwing China-hating politics from US is causing more harm to this region and this country.
We are a gracias people. We welcome to Singapore Vice President Kamala.
ReplyDeleteBut that is not the story here.
To Anonymous Who is right wing politics? Singapore, US, China or India? Hard to say. Every countries also have politics.
Tommy Koh is a garment man. We cannot say he is wrong. Only the garment can say that because only they know what they told him what to say and whether he said it or not.
The health minister cannot talk to us about jobs. That is the job of the Ministry of Manpower Minister. What does he know about jobs? Actually what does he know about health? Is he a doctor? No. He is a general. Generals can only talk about SAF and defense activities. OK, we accept that Fort Derrick is under military, so maybe as a army officer, he can talk about it. But talk, there still is no prove. We need prove.
WHO must get the prove to show everyone what really happened. Is it the bat or is it the fort? If it is the fort, then we must cut off relations with the US. If it is the bat, then we must cut off relations with China. The world world kena from Covid. Someone must be responsible. Either China or US or India. Right now the Indian variant is responsible.
There is no argueing about this. PM Lee must ask the Vice President if she know anything about the virus.
Gracious people can treat your own people like second hand citizens and your old folks with disdain and disgust but good in balls-carrying foreign powers?
DeleteThe rest of your comment looks like you are talking cock.
The Health Minister is General? Either you are a foreigner who does not even know the background of Singapore Ministers, or you are a very careless person who talks without the necessary knowledge.
"If it is bat, then we must cut off relations with China." What logic? Bats are created by China and is China's responsibility only? Other countries don't have bats? For your info, there are bats in Singapore too.
Kamala Harris roping Singapore to fight US
ReplyDeleteNo one will ask Singapore to stand with China to be against the US. But there is no need for Singapore to confront China for the interests of the US.
Anon 4.51 - No one will ask Singapore to stand with China to be against the US.
ReplyDelete😂You must be new here. 😂
If it is a bat source, why is China responsible? Is the bat a citizen of China?
ReplyDeleteThe Health Minister is a General? Anon 4.44 and must be confused with the Hell Minister that he knows very well. He sounds like a bat and cannot see well in daylight. Seriously, the Chinese Seventh Month is not over yet, so Anon 4.44 please familiarise yourself first before you make a fool of yourself. By the way 4.44 means bad luck - si, si, si..
ReplyDeleteFor your info, there are bats in Singapore too.
ReplyDeleteYes, but we don't eat them.
You still don't get it? Your skull must be damn fxxking thick!
DeleteIn many countries, for centuries, bats are part of the food chain of the people. If the virus was already in existence in bats, as some studies seem to suggest, how come it took so long before some urban Chinese folks were claimed to have caught the virus after eating them and not those folks who were eating them for centuries?
ReplyDeletePeople have even been living with bats in caves for years without being none the worse. Bat Cave in Ipoh, Malaysia is even a tourist spot. So, if it is bat, why just cut off relations with just China. Every country has bats, even Singapore. So no country in the world should have relations with any other country. What warp logic!
Covid-19 vaccine in the UK.
ReplyDeleteThe UK government announced on Monday that the MHRA was reviewing “suspected side effects of menstrual disorders and unexpected vaginal bleeding following vaccination against Covid-19 in the UK.”
USA just broke the daily record with 319,456 infections recorded on 20.8.2021 according to Johns Hopkins website. The jump in infections is astronomical.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they are setting the example of living with the virus.
Biden is going to collapse soon. Pressure is mounting on his miscalculation in Afghanistan by falling into the trap set by non other than Trump. At home the virus is wrecking havoc, while the citizens are staying away from being vaccinated, also engineered by Trump. Biden is hapless to get people vaccinated. He won't last long.
ReplyDeleteHarris meanwhile is still enjoying the honeymoon post anointment as VP. After the failure of Blinken and Sherman to get the support of ASEAN against China, she is here next, trying her luck. No doubt this is her objective to do something to booster her falling popularity. What else is she here for other than doing evil?
Official acknowledgement of blood-thicker-than-water policies?
ReplyDelete"The second reason is that she is the first US vice-president of Indian descent. Her brilliant mother, Dr Shyamala Gopalan, was from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She earned a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley and was an endocrinologist. She devoted her life to research on breast cancer. Many Singaporeans will feel a connection to Ms Harris, because they are Tamil-speaking and trace their roots to Tamil Nadu." - Tommy Koh in yesterday's (Aug 21) ST column "A warm welcome to Kamala Harris"
CECA ?
Tommy Koh loves Indian curry. He has eaten more Indian curry than he ate Chinese Chicken Rice.
ReplyDeleteIn his home, he burns Indian incense and worship the Indian God of Wealth, Ganeshi.
Indonesia is even more connected to Barrack Obama and he was the USA President, but they did not do a song and dance about that. Only in Bollywood they do the bolly bolly shake
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, if you follow everything Indian, does that mean bathing in the Singapore River as well? Phui, that is our drinking water.
ReplyDeleteOur drinking water is from their pee, recycled . . heard of NE water ?
ReplyDeleteIf Singapore continues to bring in Indian talents to help it develop and progress, Singapore stands a very good chance to become the most advanced country in South Asia, second only to India.
ReplyDeleteU.S. White-Tailed Deer Could Be Original Source of COVID-19
ReplyDeleteMany white-tailed deer, abundant in North America, especially near urban centers in eastern United States, have antibodies to the virus that causes COVID-19, according to a U.S. study published in Nature, one of the world's top scientific journals, on August 2.
The U.S. scientists have found that one third of the deer blood samples collected in four U.S. states contained SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, including three samples from early 2020 and one from 2019.
These samples were collected “very early in the pandemic” from wild deer populations in different parts of the US, said quantitative biologist Susan Shriner with the National Wildlife Research Centre in a paper posted on the preprint server bioRxiv.org on July 29.
The discovery could “provide baseline information for surveyed populations prior to pathogen emergence”, Shriner and her colleagues said.
Shriner and her colleagues sent their samples to another government laboratory that ran tests with a different method. The results were consistent.
The researchers pitched the deer samples against artificial viruses carrying the same spike proteins as that of Sars-CoV-2. They also tested them with real viruses collected from humans. These tests yielded similar results.
Wild deer had not received much attention before, as most studies focused on bats, but some recent studies suggested the U.S. white-tailed deer could be a possible host from which the COVID-19 pathogen originated, a virologist said.
“Testing deer is not enough. It is also necessary to test the archived blood samples of residents living nearby to help answer some important questions, such as whether there were some early transmissions between wild animals and residents that made the virus more adaptive to humans,” the virologist said.
Singapore is already first world and India third. Why do we need to bring third world Indians in to help us develop and progress? Illogical and putting the cart before the horse.
ReplyDeleteIndia does not even have proper basic things like toilets, and have to shit and bathe in corpse polluted rivers. When people died of COVID19, they could not even provide decent cremation grounds to do the cremation. Many had to be buried on river banks. It is a international disgrace. And you call that the most advanced country in South Asia? Don't make my toes laugh!
In times like this, Singapore really missed the likes of LKY and GKS. They would line up the idiots that are turning Singapore into a third world country, begging third world talents to help Singapore, and cane every one of them in public.
ReplyDeleteTommy Koh loves Indian curry. He has eaten more Indian curry than he ate Chinese Chicken Rice
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised. It's healthier.

How dare you said India is third world? You are making our boys and girls very angry. Or are you saying they are fools? India is the greatest country and a model country that our boys and girls wanted Singapore to be like. They are going to make Singapore more like India, the next super power in the world, in the next century.
There are many Indians themselves saying the same thing on Youtube, that India can never overtake China or become a superpower. If they cannot overtake China, how then can they be the next superpower of the world. Not even in Asia alone are they going to be the top dog. Empty boasting does not a superpower make.
ReplyDeleteAnon 11.36 is quite optimistic to suggest maybe India can become the next superpower by next century. Insightful thinking which I agree.
Hahaha
ReplyDeleteAnon 10.10 The first paragraph accusation is answered by the reasons in the second paragraph. The truth hurts, but it is the absolute truth.
The Maths will prove why India can never overtake China. China's GDP today is five times that of India.
ReplyDeleteEven with a growth rate of 20%, India can only add maybe 600 billion annually to it's GDP. China can grow at a quarter of India's rate or 5%, but will still add 750 billion to it's GDP annually.
That is even without compounding. So, how is India going to overtake China?
Kishore Mahbuban said India can over take China. Many in India also said so. Kishore also used some statistics. Maybe I should comment on his statistics.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of population growth, India overtaking China is now a certainty. The drawback is that the bigger the population growth, the greater is going to be the poverty issue. Population growth could be a huge advantage for well developed economies like Japan, but for India, it is a liability.
ReplyDeleteFor India to follow China's path to economic development is impossible due to political reasons.
Hahaha
ReplyDeleteBut many in India also said not possible, but can try. They were possibly looking at how China has come this far. Politically, that is one factor and the main difference.
