Afghanistan War Is Over, What Next?

To what extent the Afghan Taliban will honor its promises to govern inclusively and to respect women's rights is the main criteria that the international community will use to decide whether to recognize the Taliban as the legitimate long-term government of Afghanistan or not.

There is no denying that the Taliban has so far told the world that it has changed, compared to 20 years ago - such as claiming that they respect women's rights and that girls can receive education. However, those claims are only rhetorical unless put into practice over a long and sustainable period of time. Only time will tell and show the truthfulness of their words.

Of course, it will be unwise to expect the Taliban to reform its 2000 years old religious ideology over night. If anything, the philosophy of the Taliban's top leadership will likely be the same as the existing Islamic countries in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia, Iran and UAE.

Therefore, foreign countries had better advise their nationals in Afghanistan to abide strictly by the Islamic culture, norms and habits and be sensitive to what clothing they should wear and the food they eat in the public places of Afghanistan. Not from intimidation or undue fear but for the purpose mutual respect and peaceful existence.

It is unrealistic to expect the Taliban to suddenly, like magic, become modernized and secularised like the first World countries immediately. Individuals' rights and liberty can only improve after the overall country's economic development is realized and sustained. Only after that can modernization and secularism gradually follow suits. This is the natural progression of a long-lasting peaceful development of human endeavors. It requires cooperation from every quarter, sect and faction.

To the Afghans, who else could stop foreign interventions and foreign-initiated wars and certain economic ruins, and return stability and peace to the country if not for the Taliban nationalistic forces? The other splinter groups of warlords have been divisive and disunited all these years, mainly because of their own selfish interests, which is the main reason why the US-propped-up Afghan government's army collapsed so easily in just ten days, without putting up much effective resistance against the Taliban forces' onslaught.

From now on, while the Afghans begin the process of repairing and rebuilding their country and livelihoods, Western or Eastern powers should not interfere, instigate or intervene. Only the Afghan people have the right to decide what to do in their own country. Others, if they are really kind to wish the Afghan people well, can help by foster trade, investment and economic and infrastructure developments. Otherwise, keep your devious, mean and nasty hands off the Afghan people, no matter which group they belong. What is most dreadful and unnecessary is to start a civil war or an internal strife which the CIA is well-known for.

The international community can set conditions with the Taliban to make sure it brings no harm to its neighbors and fulfills its promise to cut off ties with terrorist groups.

The Afghan people should be allowed to restart economic and trade activities without sabotage or subversion from any mischievous or vengeful propagater.

With the re-establishment of economic and trade activities, the Afghan people could at least begin to develop their country and establish stability internally and with its surrounding neighbours, and therefore internationally.

Let's watch how the various players show their hands openly and surreptitiously.

  1. Pompeo, Navarro and Bolton do not represent the average American.

  2. French Medical Nobel Prize Winner Dr Montagnier urged for the suspension of mass vaccination.

“I would like to summarize the potential dangers of these vaccines in a mass vaccination policy:

    1. Short-term side effects: these are not the normal local reactions found for any vaccination, but serious reactions involve the life of the recipient such as anaphylactic shock linked to a component of the vaccine mixture, or severe allergies or an autoimmune reaction up to cell aplasia.

    2. Lack of vaccine protection:

2.1 Induction of facilitating antibodies – the induced antibodies do not neutralize a viral infection, but on the contrary facilitate it depending on the recipient. The latter may have already been exposed to the virus asymptomatically. A low level of naturally induced antibodies may compete with the antibodies induced by the vaccine.

2.2 The production of antibodies induced by vaccination in a population highly exposed to the virus will lead to the selection of variants resistant to these antibodies. These variants can be more virulent or more transmissible. This is what we are seeing now. An endless virus-vaccine race that will always turn to the advantage for the virus.

    3. Long-term effects: Contrary to the claims of the manufacturers of messenger RNA vaccines, there is a risk of integration of viral RNA into the human genome. Indeed, each of our cells has endogenous retroviruses with the ability to reverse transcriptase from RNA into DNA. Although this is a rare event, its passage through the DNA of germ cells and its transmission to future generations cannot be excluded.

Faced with an unpredictable future, it is better to abstain.”

  3. Well, the USA and the West can try to change them, but if 20 years of wallowing in futility and failure is not a good enough lesson, they can try again.

  4. War is certainly not over in Afghanistan!!! Wait and see what happens after August 31. China will take the place of the blood sucking Yanks. China will be in Afghanistan to develop the country upgrading infrastructure, building schools and hospital. Of course China will be in Afghanistan for the lithium, copper and oil. It will be a win-win situation.

  5. Our nincompoops are still coercing the people to get jabbed by mRNAs. Maybe they are thinking, since they already got suckered, might as well make the rest suckers as well.

  6. The copper, lithium and whatever minerals would be dirt if no one is going to dig them up and buy them, just like the stupid Australian's iron ore and coal and whatever now basically dirt with no buyers.

The evil Americans would now be spreading a new lie to smear China, that China is exploiting the minerals in Afghanistan. They think the Taliban are stupid. They think the Africans are stupid.

When China stops buying from Australia, everything turns to dirt, with no buyers, including their lobsters, meat, soya beans and wines. And the Australians are now begging and hoping that China will come back and 'exploit' their resources buy their dirt.

  7. China is not going into Afghanistan to destroy assets and people's live unlike the USA.

The USA will still be in Afghanistan, in stealth, throwing spanners into the works just like what they are doing to the BRI, creating terrorism to disrupt the trade route. As always the USA is not involved directly, but you can be sure they are around, behind the shadows.

The devil may not be there, but the smell of sulphur will still permeate and pollute the air.

  8. The Americans and the evil West invited themselves into Afghanistan, ie invaded the country to kill Afghans and to bomb and destroy the country.

China is invited by the Afghans to rebuild the country destroyed by the Americans and the West.

Why shouldn't China succeed when they are welcome as a friend to rebuild the broken country? Why can't China succeed when they have the support of the Afghan govt and people?

And the evil white men still want to smear and discredit China for being invited into Afghanistan.

  9. The real big problem with rare earth and other rare minerals is the extraction and difficulty in processing them into usable material. It is costly to set up facilities to do that, and causes environmental pollution issues.

Australia, I think, does the rare earth processing in Malaysia which is strongly objected by the people living close by for years. The Whites will leave the processing to Asian countries like China, and will not do it at home due to their citizen's objections. Others can die and it is not their business.

Of course when China start exploiting the rare earth minerals, a new smear will surely be put into motion. You can bet on that, because the West will be left out in the cold, despite eyeing the bonanza for decades.

    1. In fact the smearing on China about wanting to get the US$1 Trillion worth of rare earth has already started. I think it is from Bloomberg, the staunchest Anti-China media at present.

  10. The lying Americans invaded Afghanistan on the excuse of attacking Al Qaeda. But Al Qaeda was long gone but the American occupation of Afghanistan continues till now, 20 years, refuse to leave, taking Afghanistan as their conquered land so that they can conduct mischief against China with a new colony, a new military base free of charge. No need to pay rent and owned the land.

  11. By the way do we know what have been agreed between LHL and Kamala? I hope the PAP will let Singaporeans in on the secret. Hope good things come out of the talks between the 2 head of states.

  12. Kamala Hairy ding dong has no power to do any secret deal with Ta-Lee-Ban of Singapore. She is only a messenger of bad news like a black crow.

Whoever meets a black crow will have bad luck in the near future. Something very serious will happen to that person. That is old folks tale.

  13. She is here spreading her black magic on Pinky. Every one of them, White or Black, coming to this region bear gifts of evil. Nothing good comes out of their meeting you can be sure of that.

  14. What is next has shifted focus to the USA itself, with Joe Biden facing massive criticism at home over the botched Afghanistan withdrawal. He may even be impeached over dereliction of duty in getting USA personnel out of Afghanistan instead of waiting until the last minute and getting caught in a quagmire.

The USA had been concentrating it's focus in the South China Sea against China and against Russia in Ukraine, effectively taking their eyes off the escalating problems in Afghanistan, which they thought was peripheral to the issue of containing China. Karma? It sure looks like it!

Now the shit really hits the fan. The speed of the Taliban's advance in Afghanistan and taking over cities was unexpected and they were caught. This sounds like a repeat of their exit from Vietnam with the Vietcong chasing them up to the airport and people clinging onto helicopters to get out. Biden's survival is at stake.
