An emotional celebration in Tiananmen Square by the Chinese people in 2019. In this 14 min video, the pride and love of the Chinese people for their motherland, China, were fully exploded in the spatial space of Tiananmen Square, with unrestrained emotion, tears flowing, smiling, while they sang the song, I love you China. 我爱你中国.
The pent up feelings of a people liberated from economic hardship, living a much better life that they could not believe could be theirs, they showed their gratefulness to the motherland that made it all possible in a mass celebration in songs.
This is a beautiful sight to behold, a sight of love, peace and unity. A sight that said China is on the right path and has the right formula for growth and to better the lives of its people.
Red bean, G'morning very good of you posting Tiananmen and China's national anthem... March of the Volunteers..
ReplyDeleteNot sure anyone remembers China's national anthem before 1949 a Chinese folk song. Heard it very often during Colonial times as I was growing up in Joo Chat/Gaylang road. After 1949 Rediffusion stopped playing the song in kopi tiam...

ReplyDeleteThe oft repeated Tiananmen Square incident every year in the Western media is meant to open up the rift between the CCP and the Chinese people. I do not think it works and will die of old age soon. Why are they not harping on the Holocaust or the Nanjing Massacre where millions more have died?
ReplyDeleteChinese people are pragmatic enough to see what is good for them. With hundreds of millions of Chinese people lifted out of poverty, with infrastructure developments like high speed trains, airports, ports that are the envy of the world, and Chinese in general enjoying a much better life, it is difficult now to create disunity and sow discord just by lies alone. And social media is available to all, those that spread propaganda based on lies and those that show the truth based on facts.
Chinese people, with thousands of years heritage roots behind them, are unlike the innocent Natives of North America and Australia, where a little promise of eternal life will make them exchange their land for the Bible. Whole countries have been converted in this way, by force in most cases, like Canada.
The West never succeeded to use their religion to colonise and seize China completely, thinking that what works with innocent Natives will also work against the Chinese or the Indians. Far from it.
Having said that, the USA and the West is still stuck in their mindset that they can change and overtake China by force using subterfuge in Hong Kong, fabricated lies in Xinjiang, warmongering activities in the South China Sea, creating unease among countries surrounding China with hype up threats, forcing unwilling allies and non allies to take sides against China, and forging alliance with surrounding poodles to use their bark to highlight issues.
And the USA and the West is doing the same to Russia, instigating NATO to create friction with Russia, like trying to sanction Germany for proceeding with Nord Stream 2 project with Russia and pushing the Brits to sail their warships to antagonise the Russian Bear. That the USA was involved in that incidents says a lot about why the mouse dared to pull such a
stunt.
The USA and the West is flogging a dead horse, trying to change China. It is an exercise in futility and becoming more futile as the days go by. China has realised that being able to retaliate using force against force is the only way forward. And they are not unaware of that.
They are not trying to change China. They want to manipulate to control China. To dictate to China and to keep China always poor, or at least poorer and less successful than them.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks JC. I still have a few of these film cameras for keepsake and for good old memories of a time went by.

Many hearts and one mind
Brave the enemies gunfire, march on

G'by Singapore sooner than later Singapore will soon with 60% or more Indians.
ReplyDeleteWhether you like it or not it's gonna to happen. Migrate? Where? To Australia, USA or UK it's still the same Indian gaining majorities among the minorities everywhere. Not many people realize even in USA the brown skins’ Hispanic or Latinos are (2021 Censer) classify as "White.” Don't believe me do a search especially California... In my years dealing with Indians as a co-worker and even as a boss especially those higher cast never considers themselves Indians or black skinned... but white.. Some may consider this commenters as racist... Nope! I encountered an experienced, which I'll never forget. I invited a Kiwi to visits my factory which I was managing in Singapore and even invited the couples to a dinner in Holiday Inn beside Shaw Center many moons ago... You know what....? This fucking Kiwi married a fucking Indian and she refused to talk to me at the restaurant... my experience had imprinted deep into my mind a long-lasting encounter I never forget.. Thanks Kindest Regards JC.
