National Security Questions That Need Answers

From the perspective of national security, these questions really bothers me no end over the last few years:

1. Why did the President of Singapore, Halimah Yacob approved one man to hold and helm two powerful ministries that are clearly in direct conflicts of interests (Ministry of Law formulates and issue laws and orders whereas Ministry of Home Affairs maintains law and order)?

2. Why did the PM advised the President to allow one Minister to be concurrently incharge of two ministries when there are so many spare ministers hanging around doing things of very little import?

3. Worst of all, the concurrent appointments are not temporarily held but have been stretched over a very long and significant period of time. Thereby entrenching the incumbent's power significantly and overwhelmingly. This is unnecessary and avoidable. Why allow one person to become so powerful?

4. As such, it seems the PM and President are powerless to appoint another Minister to hold one of the two Ministries being held by Mr Shanmugam, who has become too powerful for the good of Singapore and against wisdom. This careless deployment of personnel is not only out of the ordinary but also very disturbing and dangerous. This is easily preventable. Why allow the situation to be so?

I am sure many other fellow citizens must be asking the same or similar questions in one way or another, at one time or another.

  1. If the Ministry of Law is held by and Indian Singaporean, the Ministry of Home Affairs should rightly be held by a Chinese or Malay Singaporean. These two ministries should never be controlled by the same ethnic group, let alone by one single person for donkey years while other Ministers have been rotating from one Ministry to another.

Something is wrong. It stands like a sore thumb.

    Lack of talents? Bullshit!

You have such a long to put other Ministers to understudy and be trained.

Why failed in your responsibility to groom and train other people to take over?

In the national interests, you have such a long period of time to put other Ministers in the Home Affairs Ministry and Law Ministry to understudy and be trained. You have ample time to do it. But you did not.

Why failed in your responsibility to groom and train other people to take over?

Unless, there is an ulterior selfish motive not of national interests, any sane leader would have groomed and trained other Ministers to take over the Law and Home Affairs ministries long ago.

    Nobody is indispensable!

  3. They have thrown away the old SOP on organic growth, growing and grooming your own talents.

Now the game plan is instant trees, instant everything. Just pay and bring in foreigners whose background and qualifications were not verified.

As for the citizens and children of citizens, you die your business as long as their million dollar jobs are secured, for the next few years.

  4. The name for the present modus operandi in human resources is "Fly By Night Under The Cover Of Darkness". That's why every top position is turning black.

In natural food, Red means dangerous. Black means poisonous.

  5. I think because the Emperor w/o clothe doesn't trust the younger ones. I think there must be hidden motives behind y the same Indian man is holding 2 posts, and many say the 2 posts are of a conflict of interests. Don't trust a Chinese or a Malay ? Or this man doesn't like other portfolio ? And the same person has been holding the same 2 posts for donkeys of years ! Touch wood ! What if this man suddenly "kaput" ? Can never happen ? If it happens, the ones taking over the posts will have no experiences, and cannot call upon the "dead one" for help ! There should transparency and accountability as citizens pay all minsters' salaries through our taxpayers. Money doesn't drop from the sky !

  6. In the dying days of the Qing Dynasty, the Dowager was protecting her turf like man, getting rid of opposition and thinking that it would last forever even in her old age. It ended the Qing Empire for good.

In Singapore, the outcome would be a disaster for the majority Chinese when the island is taken over by India.

The boy scouts and girl guides would be hopeless against the scheming, dangerous and more hungry challengers. They would be eaten for lunch.

  7. The unsuspecting, inexperienced and band-wagon free-riders 4G boy scouts and girl guides are dead meats for a feasting by the black Panthers and black Cobras.

It has already been seen so clearly in the last few years, especially after the demise of the Old Dictator.

  8. Once they took over, there will be no chance for daft sinkies to make a come back. They would fill all the top positions with their relatives.

Can you imagine if they take over the PM position?

  9. See how stylo milo they behaved in parliament bullying the opposition MPs. They are putting all their energies attacking the opposition and guarding against the opposition.

They forgot that while the mantis was preying on its prey, the snake is watching nearby and waiting to pounce and make a meal out of them.

They are totally oblivious of the danger lurking behind them, thinking they are very safe.

    Can you believe that?

None of the 4G in waiting would become the next PM. The next PM is hiding in the dark corner.

  10. You guys must check on the background of this powerful somebody, and you will know where he is coming from.

This somebody has an axe to grind.

This somebody was sidelined by LKY to become a back bencher for a very long time and never could be a minister.

    Why?

Obviously, LKY did not trust him. That's why he never put him to hold Ministerial posts.

That also explains why he help screw up LKY's will and instigated the siblings in-fighting on the Oxley House.

Now, it looks like this somebody who engineered himself to be in charge of immigration, has deliberately imported thousands upon thousands of his own kind into Singapore.

At the same time, this somebody also was the advisor and consultant for the legal documents of CECA, before and after the agreement was signed.

This guy was also the advisor to LKY's legal matters. And he turned around to side with the foxy Jinx after LKY died.

You see the intrigues and dirty politics at play?

  12. Man arrested over racist remarks, attack on undergraduate at East Coast Park

Madam Eileen Lee told The Straits Times that her 21-year-old son - who wanted to be known only as Mr Teo and declined to be interviewed - was punched and kicked.

An eyewitness, who wanted to be known only as Mr Chu, corroborated her account.

The Republic Polytechnic student, 19, told ST that he and his three friends saw the attack, which involved pushing, punching and kicking. One of them called the police.
