Really Bites: The Chinese Singaporeans Are A Minority Now!

Singapore population is now 5.82 million, comprising 2.6 million permernent residents and 3.22 million citizens.

Citizens comprise of local-born, overseas-born and new citizens.

Local-born comprises 88%.

Overseas-born comprises 1%

New Citizens form 11%.

Local Citizens of Chinese origin is 75% of the total of 88% local-born.

Do the maths and you will find that the Chinese are not the majority any more.

It's too late to wake up. But better late than dead.

Queen of Hearts.

PS: The figures are estimates because it is terribly difficult to get the true numbers. Official statistics are doubtful, confusing and do not reflect reality on the ground.

  2. An easy solution to address Singapore's problem of population decline is to harness India's demographic expansion.

  3. The solution to Singapore's declining birth rate is to encourage, educate and incentivise couples (not just mothers) and families. The government knows this but it is reluctant to do it.

Over the last 30 years, it preferred the easy, lazy and cheap way out - the brainless and effortless way - by importing foreigners and turned them into new citizens.

The cursory measures of giving half-hearted mediocre incentives to the mothers has failed to achieve significant results. Yet, the lazy and stupid leaders have not bothered to change the strategy. They not only continues to import foreigners but hasten the pace of conversion of new citizens too.

This is a deliberate self-sabotage and self-destruct policy. This is the result of paying too much to top leaders until they become lazy, complacent, inefficient and ineffective.

  4. When a country is ruled by incompetent and useless leaders, it is the clearest sign that it is in decline.

  5. Aliyah, the garment wanto do the eazy way by mass importation of foreign darlings because is very cheap mah, economically they no need give subsidies from birth to youn adult age some more education & some already trained by their home country so by mass importation this saves the garment lots of money but they not going to care bout the social impacts, why? Probably they won't live to see the social impact. Some more what if the garment nurture the local darlings and then later in life these locals darlings uprooted to go other countries then the garment will lagi loogi jialat jialat or worse still the locals voted against them. So for these reason they will wan to foreign import en masses in order to sustain themselves economically & politically, its win win for themselves only, ordinary people u die ur own bziness & what's wrong with collecting more monies? What's wrong with mass importation ? They win u locals go eat grass lah..

  6. PAP's votes have been reducing over the last 20 years, except for 2015 when LKY's death enabled it to garner a significant number of votes.

Converting foreigners to new citizens is a sure way to increase PAP's votes, so that it can remain in power.

That is the main reason for importing and converting foreigners to new citizens.

The other reasons, whatever they may be, are secondary.

KNN, very cunning but unwise. Because PAP ultimately will be toppled by the New Comers. That is Retribution!

  7. Also do not forget their dafts Sinkies whom no matter how their conditions will always vote for the whites party. Foreigners newly minted citizens will probably vote in the whites party out of gratitude & this might last for 1, 2 or 3 erections after which when these foreigners new citizens realized that they being played out will finally awaken as this will happen to their kids when they go out to look for jobs after graduation. The garmen knew that and will continue bringing in new planeloads of foreigners come in under the guise of low birth rate or low TFR. This vicious cycle will goes on n on till the dafts & newly minted citizens wakes up. And also another group who will also say one thing prior to erection but on the actual day of ballot box, dunno what happen in their head, go into ballot box & marked the whites men party (maybe these r minorities).

  8. The day will come when the new normal will be the new citizens controlling and running Singapore. Running it to the ground and all hell will break loose. When that day comes, Malaysia will take back Singapore.

  9. The Chinese Majority, which has now become a Minority, has already been making the Minority very comfortable for the past 55 years.

It is now pay-back time. It is now the time for the Minority, which has become the Majority, to return the kindness given to them by making the Chinese Majority, that is now the Minority, comfortable.

If Lau Lan Wong still sleeping, he had better wake up. Otherwise, he is unfit to be a Minister.

  11. Leaders should have foresight, instead of depending on benefits of hindsight.

Depending on benefits created by others for too long a time has resulted in developing pseudo leaders who crave for benefits of hindsight. Such people are not leaders but spineless followers.

Sad. Very sad. Singapore has reached the bottom of the shit hole to scratch for spineless people to masquerade as pseudo leaders.

  12. Tackling racism: Chinese majority must ‘do its part to be sensitive, conscious’ to needs of minorities, says Lawrence Wong

    https://www.todayonline.com/singapore/tackling-racism-chinese-majority-must-do-its-part-be-sensitive-conscious-needs-minorities

Mr Wong then urged people to speak up and be prepared to have “uncomfortable discussions” about racism in order to listen to one another and understand all points of view.

However, participants should work towards mutual accommodation, trust and compromise, instead of insisting on “maximum entitlements and rights for their respective groups, or construe every compromise as an injustice that needs to be condemned”, he said.

They also should not “put the worst interpretation on every perceived slight or insensitivity”.

If this happens, it will not take long for other groups to react aggressively, as has been seen in other countries where identity politics have taken root and where parties are emboldened to “up the ante and make greater demands”.

This is a lose-lose situation for both the minority and majority groups, Mr Wong said. “We end up fuelling our worst tendencies — our tribalism, hostility and vengefulness.”

    1. Racism - Barking Up The Wrong Tree?

I am afraid and sorry to say that Mr Lawrence Wong may be barking up the wrong tree.

In my humble opinion, the issue is not about Racism.

As I see it, the very urgent issue at hand is about a growing Indian minority, from 3% to 10% over the last 50 years, exerting its will over the other races by shouting "Racist, Racist!" at every single opportunity available.

At the same time, while the Indian minority is growing at breakneck speed, the Malay minority remained almost stagnant at about 12% and the Chinese majority dwindled from 84% to to about 75%. All others increased from 1% to 3%.

The Others used to be comprised of mainly Eurasians and Europeans but today they also include Myanmese, Philippinos and Vietnamese.

The rapid growth of the Indian minority of 10% (or 320,000) of the citizenry together with the 2.5 million of Permanent Residents and Long-term Pass-holders, and their families and dependants, (mainly from India, and mainly under the CECA's unlimitable tickets) add up to 2.82 million!

The Chinese Majority is 75% of 3.2 million citizens, which is 2.4 million.

Compare 2.82 million with 2.4 million, the Chinese has in effect become a Minority. That is very frightening for the Chinese. That is the real issue!

So, if people like Mr Wong are still sleeping, and still talk about giving more leeways to the minority, that has already achieved the critical mass to overcome and overwhelm the others, then we are heading for disasters.

Wake up! Before it is too late.

The other groups are now exerting pressures on the stupid and sleeping leaders by way of brewing up a storm about Race and Racism and shouting "Racist! Racist!" whenever it suits their purpose.

      Wake Up! For goodnes sake!

  13. Lawrence Wong Shyun Tsai may think that his idea is better than Lee Kuan Yew and his team of Old Guards.

Sad to say, he is in fact nowhere near the feet of the incomparable Wise Old Men of the Pioneer Generation, who led Singapore to fame, glory and prosperity against all odds, with only 1.5 million population, mostly without much education and skills.

The position and status of Singapore as a 1st World country was established by the Wise Old Guards. Not by the present group of leaders.

The present group of leaders have been bringing Singapore down and letting Singaporeans down over the past 15 years, since CECA was signed with the backward 3rd World India.

How can they even dare to discard the wisdom and foresight of the Wise Men of the Pioneer Generation by opening up a can of worms?

  14. It is not just a can of worms. It is the Pandora's Box. Once opened, all hell will break loose.

Lau Lan Wong will have to shoulder the responsibility in full.

  15. Chow chee bye. Just because of a few cranks and they called it racism. In every community there will be a few of such cranks.

Chow chee bye. Paid in the millions but got no brains and easily manipulated by the racists and still did not know what is happening and blaming the Chinese as racists.

  16. Among the three of them, who are competing for the PM post, if any of them shows favor to the minority race, and thereby indirectly antagonise the Chinese Majority, he is in for trouble. He will never be the next PM.

Thinking that being the first to utter in favour of the minority and putting down the Chinese majority simultaneously, he has scored an important point to be the next PM, is a big mistake.

Race, language and religion, if leaders are smart, they had better keep their mouths shut. Whoever opens his big mouth and let go his loose tongue, is not only going against the 50-year old ban but also damn Fxxking Stupid.

  17. Lawrence Wong can't even get along well with his first wife and as a result had been divorced by her.

Still got credibility to talk about racial harmony?

Can't even maintain his family's harmony, yet dares to belittle the Chinese Majority about National Harmony?

  18. "But I have a responsibility to you. In 10 years, can we digest so many? There will be cultural, linguistic, social and political problems" - our great Lee Yuan Yew on foreign workforce, 1979.

Ruling elites deviated from Lee Yuan Yew's teachings, signed CECA and brought in 1.8 million foreigners to increase the population abruptly to 5.8 million today from 4 million in 2004, and as Lee Yuan Yew had predicted, created so many problems for Singaporean society!

  19. KNN, what type ministar is this?

Go and sort out your own family harmony first lah.

    Stupidity has no cure, really.

  20. SG chinese populations had been diluted into many portions. Baba, banana, etc; cannot be categories as Chinese. They should treated as mixed races. Real chineses had lost their majority. Not surprising more and more incident of racists occurred.

  22. I think you might want to actually do the math.

75% of the 88% local born is 66%. So 66% out of all people in Singapore (local born, new citizens, and overseas-born) are of Chinese origin.

    66% > 50%

Chinese origin local born Singaporeans are still statistically the majority.

  23. The Chinese majority have been sold by the unthinking traitors.

  24. Singapore is the only country in the world where the majority voluntarily gave up its majority without knowing the consequences of such an idiotic act. Maybe stupidly thinking others would be just as kind and stupid when they become the majority.
