Vietnam has imposed a ban on all international flights to Hanoi and other areas.
China has stopped international flights to Guangzhou Province and other cities.
Malaysia has locked down for two weeks.
Elsewhere, the super-spreader of the B1617 variant from India is spreading fast and furious in many countries.
India,
the super-spreader country for the B1617 variants in the world for the
last three months has still refused to lock down and close its borders
or ban flights, thereby allowing the B1617 variants to spread to other
countries intentionally.
Singapore is going to follow India by
keeping its borders open in order to import more B1617 into the tiny
congested island so that its residents can get infected more easily and
die faster. Why so stupid?
Desperate for business and money? The National Reserves run dry already? Cannot hack already? Pathetic and tragic!
What will happen to us?

ReplyDeleteIs Singapore already not a colony of India yet? The Indians in India are positively sure they have the prize in their bag. CECA already made them in a position of strength in this regard.
I have to rest my case.

India is the most successful country with the most talents to the fools.
ReplyDeleteFollowing India is the wisest thing for the stupids and empty heads.
Only fools, stupids and empty heads can be conned and swindled by the Indians and did not know what is happening.
Real Problem In Singapore:
ReplyDeleteEmploying book-worms as leaders of the country and some more make them become swell-headed instant multi-millionaires is the best recipe for Singapore to deteriorate, decay and rot.
The first and second generations of Singapore leaders took 44 years to painfully, slowly, tediously, and finally built up Singapore from Third World to First World.
However, it takes only 15 years, or less, for the 3rd generation leaders to bring it down from First World to Third.
From the look of so many cockups going on in the past few years, it seems very probable that the 4th generation leaders are determined to bring Singapore further down, to the Fourth World, if there is one.
So, pray hard for Divine Intervention!
Indian virus variants rage through Asian countries - Vietnam, Singapore, China, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand
ReplyDeleteWhile India is still slothful in handling its domestic virus surge caused by a highly transmissible mutated variant, COVID-19 variants that were detected in India continue to be exported to neighboring countries, triggering a wave of epidemic resurgence in more Asian countries.
Also include Bangladesh, Brunei, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and South Korea.
DeleteI am sure Japan cannot escape it too.
Japan dare not officially report it because it is going ahead with the Olympics in August.
At first, Singapore also did not report it until more and more people have been infected by the Indianvirus, known as Type Delta - B1617.
India won't be bordered with Covid, because they have more than 1 billions peoples and only 10% rich peoples. The death rate of covid is about 3%. Therefore no incentive to be worry, they will only take action when their cow get covid and die in great numbers. Expect more variants from India. Ha ha.

ReplyDeleteYah, I left out Bhutan, Sikkim, Pakistan and Afghanistan too.

Singapore only aiming for 1st jab for every one by August. Why change? Indecisive and fickle minded again? Reactive again?
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of change underwear Civic MM Task Force?
By the way, MM stands More Monitoring. This Task Force is very good, if not excellent, at monitoring closely. The only work on hindsight but never foresight because they have none.
Also, if the Big Boss (their Paymaster who takes taxpayers' money and pay them $Millions to buy their loyalty) does not give them orders, they dare not act independently for fear of making mistakes and get sacked and lost all their $Millions Easy Money Pay.
Where do we stand with this kind of incompetent and ineffective follow-the-leeders at the top?
WHO Has Approved Chinese Vaccines, Why Singapore Still So Indifferent?
ReplyDelete"The World Health Organization has approved the emergency use of a COVID-19 jab made by Sinovac, paving the way for a second vaccine produced in China to be distributed among developing countries.
The UN Health Agency gave the green light to the two-shot vaccine on Tuesday as the jab “meets international standards for safety, efficacy and manufacturing.” ~ a statement read.
“It’s now crucial to get these lifesaving tools to the people that need them quickly,” the WHO Chief said."
The WHO’s approval gives countries worldwide the blanket blank cheque to quickly approve and import the Chinese vaccines for use to protect and save their citizens, especially those who do not trust the US-monopolised Western vaccines that deviated from the tested and tried original method of producing vaccines, such as Pfizer and Moderna.
The longer term negative side-effects for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are still unknown, but can be envisaged.
Now that the super infectious and more deadly B1617.2 variant from India has already spread to at least found in 53 countries, why is Singapore still so indifferent and senseless in not approving them.
Even if the Chinese vaccines have been approved by the Singapore Health Authority (because it is untenable and pure stupidity not to do so), the Singapore leaders have deliberately put in restrictions, saying that they may only be distributed to private clinics and doctors, without government subsidies, and not freely as in the present cases for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
Why must Singapore leaders display such a clear bias against the vaccines produced in China?
Why must the older citizens/voters who believe in the Chinese vaccines, instead of Pfizer and Moderna, be treated so badly/differently?
Queen of Hearts.
The virus is here to stay. We must live with it.

Think American approved vaccines not enough for two jabs for everyone. And since cannot use Chinese vaccines, so go for single jab loh.
There are plenty of Chinese vaccines available. Don't be like Taiwan or EU.
