The Truth About Meritocracy

 The Truth About Meritocracy

Meritocracy, like democracy, has become a dirty word in the world today.

It does not bring about equality but creates inequality.

It does not bring about freedom but creates restrictions and limitations.

It does not bring out the beauty of those who have talents but their ugliness and their iniquities.

It does not help the majority nor the society but only serves the few who set out to grab the best of everything for themselves.

Most importantly, it does not bring happiness to the country and its people but only questionable happiness to a few.

Finally, it leads to a elitist society controlled and manipulated at the very pinnacle of power by a tiny group of self-serving, self-enriching and self-praising elitists, always hungry and greedy for more and more.....

  1. Very true!

Those are the negative aspects of meritocracy, which the ruling politicians have not highlighted.

They always highlight only the one and only positive aspect, i.e. that only the best are selected for the job. This is not entirely true. Most often than not, in politics, it is always who you know that is more important than what you know.

Who can sincerely, honestly and without reservations, say that the power that be has never attempted to influence who to be selected for which position in the government?

  4. Meritocracy? Or Merit-O-crazy?
In Sinkieland, it only applies to people at the top of the food chain and belong to the kakilang type. How else is it true when there r fake degrees with fake certs and experiences around here. How else is it true when u hv a real degrees but couldn't find a job. Worse, many foreign trojans black ants and mice infested around to steal Sinkies lunches, while Sinkies suck it up by doing low end jobs such as screwty, modern dapawala, sweepers, go jek or grab thingy etc.

  7. SINGAPORE — The Ministry for Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) has asked an Indian composer, who claims to have written a song virtually identical to a Singapore national song, to substantiate his claims.

They have already cheated the whole country and taking all the good jobs. What is so big deal about stealing a song when they are going to steal the whole country under the nose of the imbeciles?

  9. Only PAPocracy in Singapore. No real Meritocracy. After the lizard took over, it has been the "Yesmen" and "Yeswomen" who know how to carry the Balls of Emperor Longan and Empress Dowager. There is no real Meritocracy at all. Just take a close look of the shameless unconscionable instant-millionaire minautars' faces and their behaviour.

The biggest give-away is thrusting the shameless Indian by birth to pretend to adopt Malay race to the Puppet Post of Press-Sit-Den.
