COVID-19: While UK Is Learning From Earlier Mistakes, Singapore Loves Making More Mistakes
While the UK leaders are very worried, Singapore leaders are taking it easy, earnestly, relentlessly and happily keep importing new Covid-19 cases everyday as if there will be no tomorrow.
"Flexing the coronavirus lockdown rules could be fatal," the UK Health Secretary warned his people and government, as UK hospital admissions soar.
Matt Hancock did not rule out strengthening current restrictions and told the BBC's Andrew Marr the NHS was under "very serious pressure".
It comes after almost 60,000 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the UK on Saturday and the number of deaths after a positive test passed 80,000.
Scientist Prof Peter Horby warned that the UK was in "the eye of the storm".
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said the rules were tough but "may not be tough enough" and called for the government to hold daily press conferences to avoid "mixed messages".
The UK recorded another 563 deaths on Sunday and 1,065 deaths on Saturday.
And Singapore's stupidly has no cure, gangho and ostrich mentality, happy-go-lucky millionaire ministers are happily relaxing the restrictions and asking for troubles before troubles come a-troubling.
Sunday's 42 new cases are all imported - the highest in 9 months, since March 2020. And no ministers or opposition leaders bother to voice any concern.
Everyone only worried about the economy. Economy no good. So import more new Coronavirus diseased people from India and Europe means good for the economy? What type of logic is that?
The 4G leadership is really out of this world, with out of this world happy-go-lucky, "gagi-buta" salary and bonuses.
Sad. More sad than USA Riots At Capitol Hill.
Importing more and more new Coronavirus infected disease persons from all over the world, especially India, USA and Europe seems to be the most important key factor to the "Manage Risks" concept of the highly educated bookworms with many titles in front and behind their names.
ReplyDeleteStudy more and more about less and less until they lost all their common sense.
And they shamelessly called themselves the "Expert" Committee for Covid-19 Pandemic when none of them is an expert in anything.
Not even experts in convincing the public t,o allay their fear and concerns.
Maybe only expert in laughing all the way to their banks every month when their out of this world salary is received?
But mistakes will not be admitted for sure. Covering up is the first step.
ReplyDeleteThe old man taught them well. Admitting mistakes is a sign or weakness. Just say, oops it happened, what to do? You realise that no mistakes were admitted in that proclamation.
Great People Admit Their Mistakes While Small People Shy And Hide Them Away
ReplyDeleteIt takes great courage and unshakable integrity to admit one's mistakes.
Great men and women are quick to discover and admit their mistakes. Only by admitting and accepting one's mistakes can one be able to correct them. Without admitting and accepting one's mistakes, no correction or progress can be made.
Small hearted men tend to shy away from their own mistakes. Cowards are bound to run far away from their own mistakes. Villainous characters are in the habit of covering up their mistakes and crimes.
By covering up one's mistakes is the worst option of all. Yet many lesser leaders and political hacks have chosen to cover up their glaring mistakes by presenting the opposites.
They speak of their failures as successes, by twisting the facts the other way around. Just like Donald Trump who lost the presidential election by a landslide, and instead of admitting defeat, he has tried very hard to steal the election. Yet he claims that he has won by a landslide and that his opponent Joe Biden has stolen the election. He even went all out to instigate a violent attack at the US Congress in session, in order to destroy the electoral votes and to lynch VP Mike Pence and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Because these two are 2nd and 3rd in line to take over the Presidency if Trump is incapable or unfit to be President.
Donald Trump is an excellent example of how an extremely crooked and twisted mind works. How the mind of a psychopath works.
People who wield power for some time tend to want to hold onto the power. Unable to let go. We have our own examples of such people in the past and at the present moment.
So, bear in mind. Only courageous people admit to their own mistakes. Cowards and villains cover up their crimes.
The FBI has received information indicating "armed protests" are being planned at all 50 state capitols and the US Capitol in Washington, DC in the days leading up to President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20, according to CNN.

COVID-19 situation in Singapore is well under control. All imported cases are sent straight into quarantine. So why are you people worrying??? As soon as they arrive at Changi, to go straight into isolation. How can there be any danger?? Please do not complain for thew sake of complaining. OK??
ReplyDelete"COVID-19 situation in Singapore is well under control. All imported cases are sent straight into quarantine."
DeleteNot true. Covid-19 situation in Singapore is not well under control. It looks like under control but it is not. In fact, there is no one controlling it. No report of infection in the community doesn't mean that there is no infection. It only means that there is a serious lack of testing.
The situation can be well under control only when the who population is tested. The 'accidental' discovery of staff getting infected in the past but not detected earlier at the Mandarin Orchard Hotel clearly shows that Covid-19 situation is not well under control. It is spreading undetected.
And all the imported cases are not sent straight into quarantine, as you have claimed. There is no quarantine.
The detected imported cases are given Stay Home Notice or isolated at designated hotels. They are not quarantined. They are free to roam at their homes or in the hotels.
Please read MOH's reports properly. Please don't try to mislead others through your own wrong perception and wrong interpretation. OK???
