General Post Office - A day to remember

The above photos were taken from Fullerton Hotel gallery.  I happened to be there and found them every interesting. The photos are very well taken, well preserved and tell a story of what life was in the times of colonialism when white men stole this island and kept it as their own. Like all colonised land, the land, the assets and people, belonged to the white men when they seized the island. Present USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and many islands in the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Arctic and Antarctic Oceans are still possessed by the white men as their land.

Credit to the photographer for taking the moment with the expressions of the colonial masters clearly showing who was the boss than and the natives in their attentive meekness, not knowing the they were the real owners of the land and they should be the boss, not the white men. The white men came and stole their land. The remaining surviving native Americans should take note of this.

Would Singapore again become colonised by foreigners and taken over by foreigners and the above pictures be repeated again, with the foreigners behaving like the boss and we Singaporean natives, some imbeciles still insisting that we are migrants, having to be attentive and meek in their presence?

It is already happening in many organisations when the foreigners are calling the shots and the meek native Singaporeans being managed, roughshod and even sacked at the whims and fancy of the foreigners, and many native Singaporeans now knowing their place in the pecking order like the natives in the photos above.

It would be truly sad if I would have to take such pictures for posterity to remind them of what it was like when foreigners took over Singapore and ruled over us.

  1. Life under the colonialist British Empire was ten times better than life under PAP Dictatorship.

Moreover, under the British Singapore produced people like Lee Kuan Yew and Dr Goh Keng Swee and the other patriotic old guards who cared for Singaporeans even though we were not so well endowed.

Under the PAP, Singapore produced traitorous leaders who care more for their own millions of dollars salary and foreigners but pay only cursory just to get by attention to own country men and women, and children are being "educated" to become like obedient dogs and 3rd class human beans, worse than foreigners.

Also, under the British, the legal system has a jury instead of a single judge who decide your fate if you are charged like Parti Liyani. And there was a Privy Council in England where you can appeal up to.

Under the PAP, you are assumed guilty until you can prove yourself innocent.

ALSO, the PAP leaders are found of suing you, whereas under the British very seldom, if not none, did we ever heard of commoners being sued until pants dropped.

  2. Under the British colonial administration, we stayed in landed property with big garden compound. Under the PAP Dictated Administration, we stay in pigeon holes leased for 99 years at the expiry date your pigeon hole worth zero value.

  3. Under the British Empire, Singaporeans were British Subjects who can travel and work in 45 commonwealth countries.

Under the PAP Dictatorship, Singaporeans are PAP's national slaves to generate the GDP at all costs so that minionstars who deliberately pegged their annual bonuses to the GDP growth are able to get more and more money annually.

  4. Under the British, there was no POFMA to silence you if ministers decide arbitrarily that what you say are "fake".

Under the PAP Dictators, you will be POFMAed as long as any millionaire minister thinks that you are saying things he/she deems as falsehood.

  5. Joe Biden has won the 2020 presidential election, the Associated Press projected Saturday, sending President Trump to a bitter defeat four years after he shocked the world by winning the White House with a victory over Hillary Clinton.

Biden crossed the 270-vote threshold in the Electoral College on Saturday after the AP called Pennsylvania for him. He was also able to capture Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona, states that Trump carried in 2016.

Let's see what dirty tricksit the Dirty and Liar Trump is going to do in the coming days while he is still the Evil US president.

I hope he initiates a civil war and declares a state of emergency to assume emergency power so that he can remain in power as long as the civil war remains.

  6. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Saturday his campaign would begin challenging U.S. election results in court next week after media outlets called the race for Democrat Joe Biden, saying "this election is far from over."

"We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed," he said in a statement. "The simple fact is this election is far from over."

Trump has repeatedly made unfounded claims of fraud in the election.

  7. Trump is the President and Commander-in-Chief of USA. He is the Chief Administrator under the Trump Administration and Government. If there are fraudulent dealings in the US Elections System under his watch, who is to blame?

  8. Trump Is A Bitter Loser!

We all know why bad and bitter loser Donald Trump has rushed to falsely declare himself as the winner in the wee hours of 4 November, and why his media allies like Fox News and Infowar are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed.

The simple fact is this election is over!

Chill it, man, Donald. Put on your big boy pants for once and stop throwing tantrums like a three years old kid.

  11. The Canadian boy PM is in trouble without Trump after taking instruction from Trump to arrest a Chinese national. Now he cannot go to the White House to beg Trump to help him and to protect him.

Biden must tell him it is not his business. Sort it out yourself, little boy.

The future of the world, at least for next 150 years, will be led by China, not USA.

  18. Why does India take pride, even though they're not India citizens ? . . .

Harris’ victory latest in growing circle of Indian-origin lawmakers taking prominent roles across the globe

Countries across the world - from the US, UK, Canada to Singapore and New Zealand, are witnessing phenomenal strides by Indian-origin politicians, who are now taking on influential and prominent roles in governments and cabinets.

Kamala Harris, daughter of immigrants, scripted history as she broke the glass ceiling in the world’s oldest democracy to be elected America’s first Black and South Asian-descent woman Vice President, the latest entrant to a growing list of Indian-origin lawmakers rising the political ladder and occupying influential positions in governments across the world.

Harris’s election as America’s next Vice President is groundbreaking as she brings to the office a litany of firsts - she will be the first woman, the first Black woman, the first woman of Indian descent and the first daughter of immigrants to be sworn in as Vice President. Harris’s historic political elevation is a milestone for the four-million strong Indian diaspora in the US - an achievement by an Indian-origin lawmaker that is not limited only to America but one that is being witnessed across the world as more and more people of Indian-descent are named as ministers and policy makers in cabinets that are increasingly becoming more diverse.

The top Indian-origin politicians who have broken barriers and shattered glass ceilings in other countries include New Zealand’s first-ever Indian-origin minister Priyanca Radhakrishnan, senior Republican leader Nikki Haley, Minister of National Defence in the Cabinet of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Harjit Sajjan, UK Home Secretary Priti Patel and Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak, Ireland’s first Indian-origin Prime Minister Leo Varadkar and Singapore’s first Leader of the Opposition Indian-origin politician Pritam Singh.

  19. Puzzling comments from India PM Modi:

At last week's Virtual Global Investor Roundtable (VGIR) 2020 - organized by India's Ministry of Finance, and involving institutional investors from the US, Europe, Canada, Korea, Japan, Middle East, Australia and Singapore - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi pointed out to the audience the traits that helped India fight Covid-19 successfully. "It successfully brought out traits that Indians are known for: A sense of responsibility. A spirit of compassion. National unity. The spark of innovation," he said. Modi's boast came despite India registering the world's second highest COVID-19 count of 8,507,754, according to the latest Johns Hopkins data.

Modi also said that Indians will make their country the engine of global growth resurgence. That even as unemployment in the country is rising and Indian graduates entering the workforce find the jobs they prepared for no longer exist. According to the International Monetary Fund, India will see more than 40 million citizens slip back into extreme poverty this year as its economy shrinks by 10.3%, while its per capita gross domestic product is set to embarrassingly fall below that of neighboring Bangladesh.

"If you want returns with reliability, India is the place to be," Modi extolled.

  20. In youtube there is this Iqbah something just published a book gloating about India's glory in the Opium War with Indian soldiers fighting in China under the British Empire and Sikh soldierss used to patrol the streets of Chinese cities as if Indians were controlling China.

He also bragged about how Indian spy planes took pictures of Lop Nor facilities in the 50s/60s and passing the air photos to its ex colonial masters compromising the military secrets of China.
