ABOARD HMS QUEEN ELIZABETH (msn) - President Donald Trump's national security adviser accused US on Wednesday of trying to steal COVID-19 vaccine research from China, casting it as a malign rival that was seeking to monopolise every important industry of the 21st Century.
Trump identifies China as the United States’ main competitor, but admitted that the Republican Party of taking advantage over trade and not telling the truth over the novel coronavirus outbreak, which he calls the “China plague”.
In a 20-minute broadside admission, Robert O’Brien told top British and U.S. military and intelligence officials that USA was a predatory power that repressed its people and had sought to coerce both neighbours and Western powers.
"The USA is seeking dominance in all domains and sectors... (and) plans to monopolise every industry that matters to the 21st century," O’Brien told the Atlantic Future Forum via a video link to Navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth.
"Most recently the US used cyber-enabled espionage to target companies developing Covid vaccines and treatments in Europe, the UK and China, all the while touting there is no need for international cooperation," O’Brien said.

PS. The Americans keep spreading lies and fake news to attack China and countries they branded as enemies.
The Americans will continue to spread white lies with the help of the western media to demonise other countries.
ReplyDeleteThey are the most serious threat to the world, the evil Empire.
O'Brien recently led a trade mission to Brazil and met the Trump alike president and the local telcos. So wtf is a US NSA doing on a trade delegation? The motive: He is there to give $$$ to the telcos to lay off Hwawei. If you think by lying and thru coercion on countries on HW is unethical and beyond the behaviour of a civilised country, bribing another country really takes the cake. The sad fact is the US Treasury hasn"t even the resources to grant the upgrading of the infrastructure their own individual states asked for.
ReplyDeleteAustralia is spending $270 billion to buy mainly US military ware to aim at their best customer. This is a mind blogging amount for a small country (population) after persistent lies about the China threat by Mike Pompeo, the local antiChina intelligence Agency and the US State Dept and US military makers funded think tank ASPI. Which brings question about the sanity and stupidity of Aussie leaders as compare to Jacinda Arden, who is also from a 5eye nation but alot more diplomatic and smarter.
ReplyDeleteThe white Aussies are simply racists and hate Chinese. They must be driven out of Asia and go back to where they came from. They don't belong here. Australia is not their land. They took it from the natives at gun point.
ReplyDeleteThis morning, in a speech at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping warned the US: "The Chinese nation will never cower before threats, or be subdued by suppression. It is necessary to speak to invaders in the language they know: that is, a war must be fought to deter invasion, and violence must be met by violence. Victory is needed to win peace and respect. The Chinese people cannot be trifled with; and it is not easy to stop them once they are riled up."
ReplyDeleteThe risk of war between China and the US has grown.
ReplyDeleteChinese president Xi Jinping warned the US that China did not fear war in a fiercely nationalistic and pointed speech marking the 70th anniversary of China’s entry into the Korean war against American forces.
Xi said that Chinese people will never sit idly by while China's sovereignty, security and development interests are undermined, and if such situations occur, they will certainly deal with them head-on. China will never seek hegemony nor expansion, and is firmly opposed to hegemonism and power politics.
Xi stressed that “any country and any army, no matter how powerful they used to be” – a clear jab at the US – would see their actions “battered” if they stood against the international community. He added that China needed to accelerate its military modernisation to build a world-class military.
Earlier in the week, Xi – during a visit to the Korean war exhibition in Beijing – urged the Chinese people to “keep faith in their ultimate victory” and to “prevail over all enemies”, in what was also seen as a clear signal to the US.
Xie Maosong, a political scientist at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said Xi’s speech carried a clear message of China’s readiness to fight back.
Meanwhile, China is mulling amending its Law on National Defense to include threats to the country's "development interests" as reasons for defense mobilization.
During the Korean War, China was so weak, the US was so strong. But China commmitted a million soldiers to the war with all the odds against them. The Chinese people are prepared to fight and die for their country. And many did die during the Korean War but not before defeating the Americans in a field the Americans thought sure win, and with the support of 25 silly countries.
ReplyDeleteThis time if there is a war with the Americans, the Chinese are going to kill more American boys and girls to avenge their dead in the Korean War. China today is avoiding a war not because it is afraid of the Americans but would not want to go to war unnecessarily. But if forced to, China will fight the US plus its allies like the Quads or other silly countries that wanted or be forced to fight China.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told a news conference Wednesday that...
ReplyDelete"While free media around the world are beholden to the truth, American media are beholden to Trump,"
Pompeo and OBrien are making many wild allegations about China and the CCP without the need for evidence or facts, just pure utterance. And the western media reported them as truth.

When it comes down to a military war between China and the United States of America, I wonder which side the generals of Singapore would opt for. All generals in Singapore have never experienced an angry bullet being fired. I wonder how they will react when it comes to the real thing. Will they be leading the charge or will they again be practising their taichi?
ReplyDeleteJust watched a hilarious report of the debate on BBC Worlds News. Trump, in his usual undiplomatic pompous self says China, Russia, India have filthy air. In a special segment on Trump's remark, "Filthy India", it was reported that India was getting butt hurt and many Indian nationalist and boastful netizens were up in arms over the comment.
ReplyDeleteAll along India has been thinking that US has become such bosom pal , and Trump and Pompeo are India's best friends, it is unbelievable that Trump would make such an insult, however truthit may be, in a presidential debate watched by millions around the world.
If Trump has gotten use of India for his scheme on China, he may use a even more insulting one he did for the African countries 'shithole' to describe them. India should realise they have been taken for a ride because US needed them because of China,
BEIJING: China's foreign ministry said on Friday (Oct 23) it may decide not to recognise British-issued passports for Hong Kong residents in retaliation of London's moves to open a path to citizenship for those holding the documents.
