China will not accept US 'theft' of TikTok: China Daily
BEIJING: The United States' "bullying" of Chinese tech companies was a consequence of Washington's zero-sum vision of "American first" and left China no choice but "submission or mortal combat in the tech realm", the state-backed paper said in an editorial.
China had "plenty of ways to respond if the administration carries out its planned smash and grab", it added.
Microsoft said on Monday (Aug 3) it was in talks with ByteDance to buy parts of TikTok after US President Donald Trump reversed course on a plan to ban the app on national security grounds and gave the firms 45 days to strike a deal.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said over the weekend that Trump would take action shortly against Chinese software companies that shared user data with the Chinese government. CNA
Trump's banning of TikTok and forcing it to sell to American companies and with the US govt taking a cut is outright thuggery and daylight robbery under whatever fake and fabricated excuses. It is a violation WTO practices and rule of law. This is America behaving like an outlaw and is a very bad precedent being set for the rest of the world. If this kind of gangsterism is acceptable as legal international practice, that all rules of law will break down and countries can do as they like to steal or rob companies doing business in the respective outlaw countries like the USA.
The Americans must abide by the rule of law, by WTO practices. Gangsterism and thuggery have no place in international business and trade practices. This outrageous act of the American President must be condemned worldwide. Otherwise no country is safe to do business in the USA.
This is like doing a George Floyd in business practices with Trump doing the kneeling and suffocating a business organisation to death.
What would the Americans do if China target an American company and do the same, forced it to sell to another China company and take a cut? This daylight robbery is worse than stealing with no sense of guilt or shame or right and wrong.
The evil Americans are lawless, bullying and threatening every country with wars and sanctions. While bragging about rule of law and respecting international agreements, they are breaking every international agreements you can find, breaking and tearing away international agreements. They cheated, they lied, to invade countries, conduct regime change, assassinations of other national leaders.
Now which silly national leaders still believe America is a rule of law country and respecting international agreements and peace loving? Any leaders that still believe in these nonsense must be sent to the IMH.
The latest, breaking their agreement to recognise only one China and sending their Health Secretary to visit Taiwan. A break in diplomatic relationship between the USA and China is on the card, and war is a real possibility according to PM Morrison of Australia. The number One warmonger is dead bent to start a war with China. Let's see who would laugh last. Trump is desperate and would do anything to stay in the White House. Being evicted would mean years behind bars.
The world has become a very dangerous place with so many bad, mad and evil men in the White House. Pray the invisible hand will take Trump and Pompeo down before they did more harm to innocent lives all over the world and to American boys and girls he is going to kill in new wars in Europe and South China Sea.
This is forced stealing, as clear cut as can be. Even if any action is illegal they will come out with legislation to make it legal.
ReplyDeleteWhat difference is this from their accusations of China using coercion on US companies doing manufacturing in China and having to share their tech knowledge?
This is the same tactic used against Toshiba and Alstom, using cooked up accusations to sanction and curb their lead over US companies.
China must now fast track on innovations at home and not be forced to have businesses hijacked by the immoral United Snakes of America. China must also not be lured by a false sense of the USA changing its foreign policy against them even if Biden takes over. A leopard can never change it's spots.
The Chinese market is big enough for domestic consumption and will be made bigger with the Belt and Road. China will not collapse so easily, even after two decades of coaxing.
The decoupling of the two economies is taken place, probably leading to a break in diplomatic relationship with the American Health Secretary visiting Taiwan, a break of protocol and the agreement with China on the One China Policy.
ReplyDeleteThese white thugs are breaking all rules of law and diplomacy. They don't honour any agreements, don't abide by any rule of law. They are bandits, gangsters, thugs, liars, cheats, the most untrustworthy specie on earth.
Egypt received its first batch of Russian Sukhoi Su-35 jet fighters.
ReplyDeleteCairo has just shown the middle finger to Criminal Trump. What sanctions!
Five brand new and shining SU-35 Multi-Role stealth jet fighters have arrived in Cairo from the Western part of Russia. The 5 is part of 24 x SU-35 ordered from Russia early last year.
Major-General Nasr Salem, the former head of the Egyptian Army’s reconnaissance department and professor of strategic studies at the Nasser Higher Military Academy, said that the Egyptian's acquisition of the Su-35 fighters (NATO: Flanker-E), along with MiG-29M Rafale fighters and F-16 Falcons, will ensure air superiority so as to protect Egyptian's strategic interests.
“Why doesn’t the US supply Egypt with the F-35 fighters that it supplied Israel with, since it is objecting to the Russian Su-35 fighters deal?” Egypt’s military seeks to acquire equipment equal to that owned by Israel."
"The SU-35s are heavy and long-range fighter jets that would give the Egyptian army superiority in the regional sky, which is why the US strongly objected.”
On July 23 that the first batch of Su-35 fighters took off from the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant and headed to the European side of Russia, from where they will be delivered to Egypt.
Photos of the first five Su-35 fighters built for the Egyptian Air Force appeared on the Web, which made a stopover at Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport during a flight to the European part of Russia. As can be seen from the photographs, there are no identification marks on the planes, but the tail numbers on the keels are marked from 9210 to 9214.”
On March 18, 2019, the Egyptian Air Force inked a US$2 billion deal to buy 24 Russian-made Su-35 fighter jets, including related equipment, according to Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS).
The Su-35 was conceived as the ultimate variant of the big Russian fighter, sometimes referred to as the “Super Flanker.” It was initially planned for export, however, it is also now in service with the Russian Air Force.
The main reason Egypt insisted on buying the aircraft is that they can outperform the American-made F-15 and F-16 jets — an argument which has some merit.
Major-General Hamdi Bakhit, a member of the parliamentary Defense and National Security Committee, said that the Sukhoi fighters are a major addition to the Egyptian Air Force in light of the present IDF threats to the region.
Bakhit said the Su-35s are highly maneuverable and multi-role fighters that can attack remote ground and air targets, especially heavy concrete fortifications and runways.
They are capable of speeds of 2,800km/h and a range of 4,500 kilometers. Adding external fuel tanks will allow the fighters to travel even greater distance without having to refuel.
The Su-35 was conceived as the ultimate variant of the big Russian fighter, sometimes referred to as the “Super Flanker.”
It was initially planned for export, however, it is also now in service with the Russian Air Force.
The Su-35 features thrust-vectoring engines and a brand-new mission suite, including a Tikhomirov NIIP N135 Irbis Passive Electronically Scanned Array (PESA) radar and a “glass” cockpit.
Big bully Trump has strongly objected to the Egyptian-Russian deal. He threatened that such a deal would affect future defense deals between Cairo and Washington.
Egypt’s national security is above anything else. If that requires that Egypt acquires the Su-35 fighters, then it should, and is free to decide on the matter. The US has given Israel the newest pieces of its arsenal, which are the F-35 fighters. Thus, the US is using double standards with Egypt when threatening sanctions.
The message couldn’t be any clearer – they don’t care what arrogant Mafia Trump thinks.
China should supply Egypt and Malaysia with ground, air and sea missiles.
ReplyDeleteThe dirty, cunning, pretentious and slimy Bill Gates is behind all this. Pretend to discuss buying over from Tik Tok. Behind the back instigated the bastard lawless Trump to threaten banning Tik Tok in the US and impose sanctions, as usual.
ReplyDeleteBill Gates has been doing this kind of dirty dealings over the past 40 years, buying over one high-tech and software company after another, in order to monopolise the markets under one roof - Microsoft.
What can China do on tictok. Nothing.....
ReplyDeleteThe most incompetent American president against one of the greatest Chinese leaders in history, 330 million Americans will suffer defeat at the hands of 1,400 million Chinese !
ReplyDeleteThey have 6600 nuclear weapon versus China 300 plus so no nuclear war. Conventional war the fucker more muscular lar
DeleteTheir nuclear missiles are old and mostly obsolete. May not even fired.
ReplyDeleteConventional war they are practically useless. Can't beat the Afghans even. During Korean War, China ate them for breakfast with a poorly equipped volunteers army with small arms and no air cover.
Today, man to man, weapon to weapon, PLA is just as good if not better. This time China is going to eat them for lunch and dinner and supper. They can't fight China in the South China Sea with their floating ducks. That is China's little pond with missiles from the air, surface ships protected by weapons in the newly built unsinkable islands, and plenty of submarines and mines under the sea.
If they dare to make use of Japanese or South Korea bases, these would be wiped out within an hour of declaration of war. There will be no Okinawa to talk about, no Guam also.
Those old weapons in the USA arsenal may one day be like the explosion caused by the nitrates in Beirut, due to obsolescence, decay and not well maintained.
ReplyDeleteIt was reported that when the COVID19 first became a pandemic in the USA, they thought they had all the ventilators in their stockpile, but it turned out these could not work because of rust. The mask that they had in stockpile were also out of date and turned into dust when they took them out. Hence the pathetic response by Trump due to lack of equipments. Was Trump right to blame Obama?
How many here still think the Boeing 747 Max will be safe to fly after the FAA's recommendations? How many here dare to fly any plane after they have been in cold storage for a few months. Valves were said to be clogged and God knows what else is going to malfunction since they have yet to put them in the air. Good luck to the brave who have, out of necessity, to fly in them.
Two interesting news . Pompeo seem to be cutting some secret deal with Singaopre. Balakrisna vivien... just met the pompui and reaffirmed blah blah blah. Trump also wirhdrew 12000 troop from europe. Redeploy to standby new hot war in october surprise?
ReplyDeleteUS thinks it has China by the throat. Getting its allies to ban Huawei and Chinese tech companies. Daylight robbery of their tech of another in the US. And if China dares to react negatively by action, there is the US carrier fleet right at their door step in SC Sea to respond.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing they didn't bargain for is what Kishore Mabhubani once opined, why build a $6 billion aircraft carrier when it could be easily be sunk by a $100k F21 Chinese missile. Those US carriers and warships are practically sitting ducks. No wonder no other nation including obedient cheerleaders Australia is interested to join in the so called Freedom of Navigation fleet.
US shouldn't be pompous in overplaying their strength like Trump always boasts about their military. Trump is really pushing his luck too far in order to get reelected.

This would apply to all aircraft grounded for months since Covid19 and no maintenance, left on the tarmac.
Bill Gates is implicated in the COVID-19 PANDEMIC AS well as Huawei and Tik Tok. Next in line will be Alibaba, Beidu, Viper, WeChat and Whatsapp. He and Trump have been in collaboration way back before Trump got elected by the Daft Voters of the Evil Monstrous Empire.
ReplyDeleteTaking Trump and Pompeo down probably would not stop the madness. Even with Biden, or any other war mad drunkards in the White House, the same story will still be repeated.
ReplyDeleteBest case scenario is for the COVID19 to do the job, safely, cleanly and efficiently for the rest of the world, without more innocent lives sacrificed through meaningless wars.
The evil empire is close to 5 million infections now, although that figure is highly suspect and untrue, with unofficial estimates pushing the real figure about ten times that. Death in the evil empire is now above 160K with projections that it will surpass 180K by end of August and about 300K by end of year. Those are very optimistic projections, if you are looking at the daily spike now unfolding.
Brazil is close to 3 million with India now above 2 million infections. These two countries followed Trump's footsteps in fighting the virus and are now paying the price. The Pied Piper lead them into the gutter.
