Rude, abusive and cocky Social Distancing Red Guards

Corrupt Social Distancing Officer Threatens Shop With Bad Report If They Deny Him Free Services

Corrupt, bossy and nosey social distancing officer goes to Century Square shop every other day to disturb the staffs, terrorizing to take photos and write reports if they breach any measures. He claimed that the staffs must stand 1-metre apart when serving customers.

When staff requested him to scan SafeEntry before entering store, he always simply replied he’s not required becos he’s Social distancing officer..

In this video, the staff is under duress to polish his “Tiffany Platinum” for him.. didn’t even bother to ask properly.

On another occasion, the staffs shared that he even asks the staff if he could get his ears pierced for free and he will close one eye if he sees something amiss.

Hope relevant authorities can look into the conduct of such officer to prevent further abuse of authority.

The above is from AllSingaporeStuff. My experience with these Social Distancing Officers in Choa Chu Kang Stadium is the same, not surprising at all.  They seemed to be acting as if they have all been taught that they could bully the public, with the backing of someone very powerful. It reminds me of the Cultural Revolution and the Red Guards going into the villages to threaten the people, bully them and even persecuted them like they were the law, undisputed law, unquestionable authority. They would not tell you to put on your mask nicely but acting like NCOs in an army camp and would threaten not to let you in if you do not put on your mask.

They did not bother to know why you were not wearing your mask. I cycled to the stadium and the police officers on spot checks would wave me on without my mask. But the moment I stepped down from my bicycle, these Social Distancing Red Guards, oops, Officers, mostly part time youth, would insist that you put on your mask immediately when I was still breathing heavily. Even after I did my 100m sprint, one such Officer also demanded that I put on my mask. I told him off, that I just ran and still panting he wanted me to put on the mask immediately.

I have complained to ActiveSg about these rude and cocky Social Distancing Officers several times but nothing seemed to change.  Very similar to complaints against Red Guards, you would get punished even worse if you dare to.  You must know who were behind the Red Guards. They were released to terrorise the people. It is like people complaining about the flood of foreigners to steal the jobs of our PMETs. They simply continue to do what they were doing. The most was to put on a show that they were doing something. They must have been told to act and behave that way, a lot of power to bully the public. Imagine giving so much power to young boys and girls, like the Red Guards?

What do all these say about what is happening? The ASS article was hoping that the authorities would look into the conduct of such officers to prevent further abuse of authority. Fat hope. Who are behind them and giving them so much power? That could be the reason why they acted so cocky and abusively.

  1. Who ever appointed by the Government Agencies had the arroragnt powers of the PAP rubbed on them.

Sinkies been dafts had been bullied by these so called Evil Serpents for too long and they deserved to be screwed by them.

I just simply hated these what's useless Social Distancing and Enforcement Officers. They are just useless beans been kena fired or retrenched Roam The Streets and now proudly declared by MOM and NTUC that they are employed with so many many these types of jobs.

Little do they know that these are created temporarily and when the time come they be Roaming The Streets again.

Sinkies are usually tamed and abiding all the time and even shown signs of subservient.

These Mother Farkers thought that they are Cheng Ho Lans (Balls) and are high and mighty.

Poor unkes and aunties being mostly senile are a frightened lots and easily intimated by them.

Most of these youngsters of Today's Monster Generations are uncouth and rude thinking that they are better educated than their peers and our old generation.

I hated to go to these malls and even poly clinics.

These young punts simply shouted to you and waved you on as though you are criminals.

Behaving as though they are laws of the PAP.

The worst is that the beans that are privileged in Sinking Land like the Indians and Malays simply loved these types of jobs.

To them it's grand whilst to me these are the brainless jobs that need no need to use their brains and are only suitable for the handicapped.

Most of them shouted discrimations when upset by the majority. But they are the ones who are the most biased in their duties always gave chances and closed an eye to their own kind when they committed any offences.

The Chinkees Sinkies are the most useless. They thought that they are upright and fair and booked even their own kind when they can be simply excused as trivals.

Chinkees always killed their own kind and thought that they are grand and just doing their duties.

To me, the scwwety guards and the useless uniformed Enforcement so called officers are the most useless jobs in society.

See how many policemen had to deploy to catch just one man in Esplanade Drive.

Some more nowadays they don't dare go in and arrest but just tasered them. Real Ah Guas.

Our time one can catch even two.

Aiya, some are just useless beans thinking that they are great but actually useless.

  2. There are always two sides to a coin. It takes two hands to clap. Remember the 'sovereign women' at Shunfu Market? Remember the women who spat at a KFC counter staff? What can we expect them to be treated?

In honesty, I go out almost every day, and have yet to meet a rude, abusive and cocky 'Social Distancing Red Guard'. Not that I like to see them. Maybe I am the tolerant type and have not tried bending the rules to test them.

    1. It's NOT a bending of the rules.

These jokers are over zealous and does NOT have EQ to deal with people.

Just briefings and they followed the rules to the Dot.

Once, my son was warded in A&E and my spouse was with him from 2am to 8am.

I honestly went to take over shift from her so that she can rest and told the Red Guard that she is inside and I taking over.

He adamantly refused my change of shift saying only one person allowed to be with him. I said yes I one person.

He said NO! This is the lan sai protocol.

That's why Sinkieland will sink as their daft beans simply believed everything and do everything their daft leaders told them.

What's wrong with changing another person when he or she is also been tested before taking over?

See our how lian low ran Minister Wong tallked to us on teevee.

So intimidating and brash eye browing one and all with no respects to his elders.

These are the arrogrant attitudes of Papies who held powers for too long.

    2. To add we only have a few mad ones like the Shunfu Market and the KFC incident is a different matter all together.

That staff may have unwittingly step on the tail of that woman.

It's take two sides to a story.

  3. Agree that not all of them are abusive. But a few bad apples is enough to tarnish their image.

Just visit Choa Chu Kang Stadium and see how often temper flared because to these young Red Guards.

  4. I cannot say much about the behavior of those walking around 'Social Distancing Red Guards, but there are some that are manning the entrances to shopping malls that are basically quite humble beings, even saying 'thank you' to you each time you finished scanning your temperature and IC.

We must balance our views and understand that there are good and bad mannered people all around us. Not all can be bad and not everyone must be good to us.

    1. NOT necessarily be good to us.

But must have mutual respects for each other.

Most are just too zealous and behaved too intimidating to the public.

  5. Let me give you a few examples of my encounters in Choa Chu Kang Stadium. BTW I have raised these with ActiveSg.

I have been training in the Stadium for many years. When the lightning warning siren is on, we get out of the field and running track and took shelter under the big stadium roof, and under the building to rest and to wait for the warning to stop.

One evening, about 8pm the siren came on. The bunch of Red Guards told everyone the stadium was closed because of lightning warning and all must vacate the stadium. Cannot wait under shelter. I challenged them and demanded to see the manager. They said it was instruction from the manager but he was not around.

I waited but the manager did not turn up. I was the only one left in the stadium, the last one to leave the empty when it was not suppose to close just because of lightning warning. The Red Guards not only overstepped their authority, told a lie, and chased everyone out of the stadium. I have confirmed this with the stadium manager.

Another incident, during this pandemic, by 8.30pm the stadium would be almost empty. There was a group of 5 youths going through their exercise regime and ended with the passing of a frisbee among themselves at one end of the field, behind the goal posts.

There were 3 runners on the track, two jogging and me. 2 were resting under the shelter after completing their training.

One Red Guard walked almost 100m from the gate to tell the youths to stop passing the frisbee. This was the second time he did it. I intervened and asked him why he was stopping them. His reply, stadium only for running, nothing else. This is obviously false as people do all kinds of training, including static stretching in the stadium. And passing frisbee could be part of the training.

Anyway, I told him that if it was a stadium regulation, he had the right to stop them. But given the circumstances when there was hardly anyone in the stadium and the youths were not disturbing anyone or a danger to anyone, a little flexibility could be exercised within his authority.

I could see that he felt shiok being able to tell the youths to stop. Very powerful.

There are many other incidents that I could relate. Many of the regulars using the stadium are very angry with these Red Guards for abusing their authority, throwing the books at the users and being rude and cocky.

The stadium is a public recreation place, not an army camp.

    1. Mr Red Bean

      They are like that lah.

Just because they are employed or appointed by these Agencies they felt high and mighty and don't use their common sense to deal with the situation.

Just simply overshot their authority or followed every instructions to the Dot.

Just too afraid to exercise discretion and too afraid to make mistakes. That's why we are a Failed Nation being overran by the Foreign Invaders.

Sinkies have Common Sense? Think NOT.

Safra swimming pools when red sirens are on, we simply came out and rest at the sides then to swim again when the PAP lightnings are over.

Where got asked you to fark off?

Sinkies only knew how to bully their own kind and are subservient to others.

  8. Those are the signs of a Dictatorial country/city-state run by dictators, mostly ex-military generals, colonels, majors, captains, lieutenants, warranted officers, sargents, corporal and big-ego, swell-headed and haughty people - all trained by the SAF and People's Association, NTUC, Civil Service, Temasek Holdings, GIC and PAP.

Little does they know that when they themselves or their children or kins needed their help in pulling strings for better promotions, they be also thrown under the buses if the great RECESSION and depression is also beyond their Control.

My estate RCs por lam pars hated me when they happened to see me walking with my dog.

They knew that this Ex Mental Old Man always loudly washed their WATER faces as PAP stooges and running ahems.

  11. That is what I called the Trumpish Syndrome. The power-crazy sickness.

Look at Donald Trump, after elected as US President, behaves like Emperor, full of arrogance, full of air, high brow, nose in the air, rude, uncouth, unethical, immoral, lawless, never one day passes without lying and boasting. Talks slot but cannot perform. Always shift the blame and responsibilities to others. Never admit mistakes and never take responsibility.

Power has gone to his head until all the signs of a power-crazy person show every single day without fail.

This sickness not only affect those at top levels. It affects every level and every status of society. Even the pet dogs behave like their owners!
