Mr Bilahari Kausikan went on attack mode on Cooling Off Day,
ferociously questioning Mr Lee’s intentions in standing with the
opposition. Sharing a news article covering Mr Lee’s final election
campaign comments, the retired diplomat wrote:
“I have two comments/ questions: first, you are a
beneficiary of the ‘privilege’ you now eloquently attack. Why? Because
you were prevented from monetising the property your brother sold you?
“Second, if you are really so upset, why faff around the
margins, trying to cause trouble without responsibility? Your excuse for
not standing for election, that there need not be another Lee in
politics is hollow: what are you doing if it is not politics? Cowardly!”
Above is from www.theindependent.sg. No one in Singapore has yet to attack the sons or daughter of Lee Kuan Yew in this way. It was direct and point blank. What Bilahari was saying amounts to saying how could Hsien Yang, a 'beneficiary of the "privilege"' if you know what that means, 'attack' when he could not make money from the property Hsien Loong sold to him. Could he be sued for making such a statement? He is a smart guy and knew what he was saying and whether it was safe to say so.
Secondly, Bilahari called out the excuse by Hsien Yang for not participating in the GE as hollow and cowardly. Wow, this is a straight punch into the face, calling Hsien Yang a coward.
Now Hsien Yang would have to respond, or would he not or take it like what Bilahari called him? Another show coming up and this one is going to be hot. Even Tommy Koh also cannot tahan. Why would Bilahari take such a pot shot which is not much different from the pot shots he took against China in the South China Sea episode, speaking on grounds of high principles I supposed. In that incident he got off unscathed. He was very brave then. Now he is showing his braveness once again as the undiplomatic diplomat that he proudly called himself.
It is rare to find such a brave man, speaking out loud, in his own capacity, without any backing from anyone. He is his own man, a very brave man indeed.
Lee Hsien Yang is entitled to express his opinions as a citizen of Singapore under our Singapore Constitution.
ReplyDeleteBilahari is also entitled to express his opinion.
DeleteBut the way you express your opinion is what differentiates between an attack dog and a gentleman.
DeleteThat person is Gila or another word Siow ah or crazy, no one with a right frame of mind wud even wanto offend the Lee's family members unless is wat the Chinese says "活得不耐烦了" or he is tired of living, find tat Sinkieland is too boring for him ho boh eh sai boh lai lai ...
ReplyDeleteAn attack dog will just attack when the master shouts attack.
ReplyDeleteU sure its bilahari speaking??

ReplyDeleteHsien Yang's non participation in the GE is like China not wanting to fight when the Americans are attacking China everyday in every corner, in everything. This is the price China is paying for wanting to avoid trouble.
ReplyDeleteThe 5 eyes plus have already started to stop using Huawei and joining hands to attack China. If China does not hit back, the little silly crony countries would think it is ok to attack China again, just like what is happening to Hsien Yang. If he does not retaliate, don't be surprised a few more will join in to attack him.
Gila would be the first to attack China if given the green light.
Wow Mr RB
DeleteJapan with her White Paper..propganda about China'a military might that may endangered them and what's NOT.
China's assistance to the World COVID 19 as death traps and influence.
They themselves sat on their arses with the Whites and now dared called China as aggressor and shits stirrer.
These Japs needed to be annihilated.
ReplyDeleteAny Attack During Cooling-Off Day Is Deliberately Cultivated For Maximum Effect
I am of the opinion that Bilahari has deliberately calculated the timing of his vicious venomous attack to inflict maximum damage onto the PSP to ensure PSP does not get elected into the Parliament.
Everybody knows that Lee Hsien Yang is the anchor-man, other than Dr Tan Cheng Bock, of the PSP. His presence as a member of the PSP has great influence upon the voters' decision to swing previous PAP voters to PSP side.
The results of PSP's performance in the GE-COVID19 proved the effectiveness of the Attack Dog's Vicious Venomous Bites on the Cooling Off Day.
Bilahari has violated the Cooling-Off Day rule. He behaves like he is above the law. What has Lee Hsien Loong and Shanmugam to say? Condone Bilahari's violation of the law put up by them? If so, it would be a slap on their faces.
A police report has already been made against Bilahari for violating the law. Let's see what the outcome of police action will be: Justice or double standards?

What do you do when someone labeled you as a coward.?
ReplyDelete1. Do you simply keep quiet and hope that the matter will go off through the passage of time?
2. Do you try to prove that you are not a coward by responding to him directly.?
3. Do you counter-attack, from an unexpected direction, with a greater force to render him incapable of any more attacks?
How do you do that?
Possible Answers:
1. Expose his weaknesses, for example, his dirty, immoral, or juicy stories hidden in the closet, that his family will be ashamed of, and let the court of public justice and opinion do the follow up works for you.
2. Expose his illegal activities in the past, hidden from the proper authorities, and let the various appropriate authorities take actions against him.
3. Lure him into a trap that he will have to show his own cowardice to the world at large.
4. Lie low and do nothing and carry on your own life as usual.
The Deep-Rooted Culture Of Entitlement In Singapore
ReplyDeleteThe culture of entitlement has taken a deep root in the Singapore society slowly but surely over the past 50 years of PAP reign. How did it all started? It started with meritocracy (rewarding and promoting anyone who performs well) that raised a few farmers and peasants onto the high pedestal of society, e.g. a washer-woman’s son was raised to the most powerful position of the land. After a few of such meritocrats attained high status, wealth and power, they began to think of themselves as The Elite Class, who are entitled to rule the country because they are the best thinkers and performers. After ruling the country for some time, they began to think that they are entitled to rule forever and so they proclaimed themselves as The Aristocrat Class, the Untouchables. No one can challenge them. No one can criticise them. No one should tell them what or how to do certain things. No matter what actions they take, they must always be right. Never wrong. Never need to apologise. They are now entitled to do wrong things and be considered as right. This is the epitome of Entitlement and the zenith of Meritocracy. It is now called Meritocrazy!
Even opinions are now considered as an entitlement!
Opinions are expressions under the article of Freedom of Expressions enshrined in our National Constitution. They are not entitlements. Every intelligent human being is born with the freedom to express himself or herself. This is Natural Law, not man-made law. It is power-crazy men and women who try their best to suppress and alter this Natural Law of Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Experience that has brought so much injustice and suffering into the world.
Entitlement, similar to privilege, means someone/authority gives it to you. Which means it can also be withdrawn from you if you behave badly or not in line with what has been laid down by that someone or authority.
The Freedom of Expression enshrined in the Constitution nobody can take back from you. Not even the highest court of the Land. Unless the Constitution is suspended and a new Constitution is drawn up and approved in a Referendum to replace the previous Constitution. Many military coups’ junta simply abolished the old constitution and replaced it with a new one. Never go through proper legal process. No referendum. No elections. No consensus. Power simply rose from the barrels of the guns. He who holds the gun holds the power.
The law of the jungle reigns supreme in times of disorder and chaos. It is the commoners who always suffer, always on the losing end. That’s why commoners are inclined to think of their freedom of expression as an ENTITLEMENT!
The Beginning Of The End Of PAP Hegemony
ReplyDeleteSingapore's economy plunged into recession with a record of more than 40% GDP loss.
This ushers in the lacklustre 4G leadership together with the poor performance of the PM-Designate, who scored only 53% of the votes - barely snake through the GE2020 snap election.
The snap election was obviously aimed at taking full advantage of the COVID-19 Pandemic to unite the voters for a greater margin of votes.
However,to the surprise and predicament of the PAP, the electorate has matured and the PAP's crafty and sneaky manoeuvres fell through and backfired.
The unscrupulous and ruthless snap election called during such a time of immense sufferings was just too much for the voters, who saw through the screen of smoke, to swallow.
This is the beginning of the end for the PAP.
Soul searching won't do any good for people who have already sold their souls to the highest bidder.
PSP Image Dented by NCMP Announcement
ReplyDeleteProgress Singapore Party (PSP) assistant secretary-general Leong Mun Wai will fill one of the two Non-Constituency MP positions the party secured in the recent general election.
Despite having previously declared that he will not want the NCMP seat if offered, Leong, 60, was still selected by its central executive committee as one of the two candidates.
Leong had criticized the NCMP position on the campaign trail, saying: "If you use the NCMP, you are regarded as a loser MP, and you have no access to the people. The people are the ones we want to serve."
We feel strongly that Leong, having declared his stance on the NCMP during election hustings, should honor his own words and not undermine the image of the PSP.
It would be like lying to and enticing voters that only by voting for him in the majority than they would have a chance of seeing him in Parliament.
A video clip showed a man scolding Lee Hsien Yang for making and shaming his familys' reputation during the 2020 GE Hustings.
ReplyDeleteNow, another admonished and even called Hsien Yang a coward. To date, Lee Weiling has being quiet about the Criticism and Scolding of her Brother Hsien Yang.
Lee Hsien Yang himself has not reacted to the Vitriols against him.
However, looking at the Issue from any angle, the Ongoing First Family Saga invariably tarnishes the Reputation of their Father Lee Kuan Yew and the lndividual Family of the Lee Siblings. This is a great blemish in the History of Sin.
lt is extremely unfortunate and sad.
PSP's Image Is Not In Any Way Affected By Accepting the NCMP Posts Offered By The PAP Government
ReplyDelete@ 6:20 PM
If you want to quote Leong Mun Wai, you have to quote him in full. You cannot selectively mention only the part you want to use to demonize him. We read the ST and CNA which quoted in full Leong's statements. So we all know that Leong also said that it is "up to his party to decide".
Therefore, it is frivolous to make use of a selective partial quote to demonize PSP.
How can PSP's image be dented by accepting the NCMP Posts offered by the PAP Government? Your intended malice only shows what type of person you are!
The same argument may also be used on PAP MPs who were against some bills or policies but ended up voting for them because the PAP used the Whip to tell them how to vote, unless the MP clever enough to sneak to the toilet.
ReplyDeleteWould such MPs having to take orders from the PAP affect the PAP's image? Obviously no as they are elected to form the govt all the time.
In his vitriol against Lee Hsien Yang, Bidalari Cowsikan appears to be intentionally stirring more shit among the Lee's siblings. This is uncalled for interference in the Lee's family affairs. Any third party with a kind heart would surely and sincerely try to pacify the Lee's siblings and help them to settle their problems amicably and get closer as a family rather then pouring oil in a fire. In this matter Cowsikan has committed a great sin and cannot be excused.
ReplyDeleteIn wrongly accusing Lee Hsien Yang regarding the matter of the family property he must be sued for libel and even if he apologises for his wrong accusation that does not diminish his case and he should prepare himself for a defamation suit and a lofty compensation in the millions of dollars. You reap what you sow, Cowsikan.
He also indulges in character assassination of Lee Hsien Yang by calling Lee Hsien Yang a coward and this will involve a different suit which he must prepare to face in court. There is no way he can wriggle out of all his open and public defamation of Lee Hsien Yang.
Lastly he had committed an offence in posting political comments on the Cooling Day of the election campaign. He must not foolishly think he is above the law. The government should take strong action against him without fear or favour so that the ruling will stand in good stead and the people's good faith in the government will remain firm and steady.
Eagles Eyes
The attack by Bilahari Kausikan against LHY could be a trap. Someone or a group of persons could be behind it. They are just making use of him to do the dirty works without revealing themselves in open court should LHY decides to take legal action.
ReplyDeleteSenior Citizen's Views:
ReplyDelete1. Bilahari Kausikan not only deliberately defamed Lee Hsien Yang, he also indirectly tarnished the image of the Progress Singapore Party (PSP), during the Cooling-Off Day. Both Lee Hsien Yang and PSP can now sue him for defamation with intent to cause maximum damage to their image and political standing in the eyes of the voters.
2. Having been appointed an ambassador and diplomat for some time, Bilahari Kausakan has himself been a member of the 'privilege'. As a beneficiary of the ‘privilege’ himself, Bilahari now eloquently and viciously attacks a fellow member of the 'privilege'. Why?
Because he is jealous of Lee Hsien Yang joining PSP to champion for the 'non-privilege', while he Bilahari himself is not willing to do so? Or is he acting on his master's orders?
3. Bilahari insinuated that Lee Hsien Yang's joining politics was because he bares a grudge against his elder brother PM
Lee Hsien Loong who prevented him from monetising the property he bought from his elder brother PM Lee Hsien Loong. This is baseless and false.
4. Further, he reply to a question put to him by one of his Facebook's visitors, he claimed that Lee Hsien Yang hand bought the Oxley Rise property from Lee Hsien Loong for only one dollar. This is also baseless and false. Bilahari cannot now claim ignorance of this fact and apologise to cover himself up. The matter of how much the Oxley Rise property was sold to Lee Hsien Yang by Lee Hsien Loong was of public interest and public knowledge because it was published widely in details for quite a long time. As an experienced diplomat, expert in information gathering, he cannot claim he has not read the news on this matter. Even if he apologised now, the damage he has caused the PSP is irreversible and therefore, he has to bear full responsibility for that.
5. Bilahari accused Hsien Yang of trying to cause trouble without responsibility because Hsien Yang did not enter the Elections. This is also baseless and calculated to damage the image of PSP and Hsien Yang.
6. Bilahari intentionally and deliberately committed an offence against the Cooling-Off Day rules. He cannot claim ignorance or mistake to defend himself. The Elections Department and Police must take the necessary appropriate actions to bring justice to bear. Just because he has been an ambassador does not mean he should be treated differently in the eyes of the law. If there is no action taken against him by the appropriate authorities, it will set a precedence for others to follow.

ReplyDeleteGood Deduction.
This could be a huge boomerang and very damaging.

ReplyDeleteOwnself reply to ownself @11:55pm?
There was no deduction done. It was only a statement without substance not facts to substantiate.
How to boomerang? How huge is the boomerang? How can be very damaging? On what basis?
Just because there may be a group of people behind it? Of course, there could be the Giant Group known as the PAP behind it, No? Who cannot make an educated guess?
Lee Wei Ling refuted Bilahari Kausikan’s – a retired diplomat – allegations that her brother Lee Hsien Yang has bought the 38 Oxley Road property from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for S$1 and to make a profit from the property, noting that his allegations are “baseless” and “false”.

Kekleng, the sound of the leg chain created by early convicts while walking.
Kauseokan, the noises created by attack male dogs trying to separate the action of the ongoing inseparable locked heat. Pet were non existent then as wild ones and they roam the kampongs in groups. Houses were close by and the howling are annoying.

Will the Sin First Family Saga end before
ReplyDeleteLee Hsien Loong kicks the bucket?
Actually, by attacking Lee Hsien Yang, Kausikan has not only shown disrespect to Lee Kuan Yew, he has in fact intentionally and deliberately attempted to fan the fire of the Family feuds between the Lee Brothers, and also cast aspersions to tarnish the legacy of the Lee Family.
ReplyDeleteFrom many angles, this Bilahari Kausikan is actually getting too big for his shoes.
He had better truly retire and enjoy his last few years of life instead of stirring up troubles for the Lee Family and trying to divide Singaporeans.
Perhaps, he is working for some CECA Indians under a long-term plan to take over control of Singapore?
Or he could be a CIA undercover agent. He could have been recruited by the CIA or Other Spy Agencies when he was an Ambassador?
Divide and Rule is a well-known strategy of the CIA given as a mission for all CIA agents and operatives.
