Trudeau, asked about the comments, said
Canada had simply acted in accordance with the rule of law. Meng has
been released on bail and is living in her Vancouver home awaiting
further extradition proceedings.
"Canada is a country of the rule of law. This is something that we know and we value," Trudeau said. "We have a justice system that is not subject to political interference."

What is this boy PM and his Canadians thugs and kidnappers trying to say in the above statement? The answer, China has no rule of law and China is a country that has no justice system and everything is subject to political interference. These white monkeys did not know that when they were still barbarians invading the world, China had already established its own legal systems several thousands years before their existence.
Take the present case, the arrest of an innocent woman executive from China while transitting a Canadian airport is part of its rule of law or kidnapping? China arresting the two Canadians on charges of espionage and spying is not observing the rule of law? The two Canadians can commit acts to harm China's interest is not violating China's law while Meng Wanzhou did not commit any offence in Canada deserved to be arrested under their rule of law or rule of thugs and kidnappers?
And the arrest is not politically motivated given Trump's trade war with China and with Trump openly saying that he would interfere with the case? And if it is not politically motivated, why is there a need for the boy PM to call Trump to get advice on whether to release or not to release Meng? Should not this be decided by the Canadian courts? And the court judges have said that if the Americans did not serve their notice to Canada before 8 Jan 19, the case would be lapsed and Meng release, but till now Meng is still not released? Are the Canadians practising the rule of law or rule of thugs and kidnappers?
This country was stolen from the American natives under the rule of invasion, rule of gangsters and thugs. Let them not forget that the land of Canada was robbed from the natives under the fictitious white man's rule of law or lawlessness.
China should make Canada an example by cutting all trades and relations, single Canada out as the lawless country of kidnappers, ban Canada from any future use of Huawei's 5G technology.
The arbitrary arrest of Sabrina Meng by Canada has confirmed its status as a stooge of Uncle Sam. "Rule of law" and "There is nothing political" are two infamous lies perpetuated by PM Trudeau and FM Freeland to explain away the illegal detention of Sabrina Meng. Canada's behaviour was highly provocative and against international law. China's response had been swift and two Canucks are now in Chinese custody. By supporting Uncle Sam's attempt to control the world through illegal sanctions and illegal extraterritorial processes, Canada has served notice to the world of its loss of integrity as a sovereign nation. It is nothing but a shameless pawn of Uncle Sam.

Most Singaporeans can't think.This a dangerous problem?
By Shibani Mahtani and Sam Holmes
Steve Wozniak of Apple said this. I have said this. Many Singaporeans/people who have spent time living overseas have said this. And before anyone says I'm a foreigner,I'm not. I'm as Singaporean as Rojak.
But I was educated largely overseas, and it's quite sad that whilst many Singaporeans who've never lived away for any amount of time can't seem to see this, - Singaporeans can't think. How so, you ask? I've tried to put it into these areas.
1. They can only talk about their majors, what they learnt in school, food and shopping. I can't tell you how many times non-Singaporeans have complained to me that they can't seem to talk anything in depth with most Singaporeans. They often don't understand how educated people who have uni degrees can only seem to talk about what they studied, and nothing more about worldly issues or anything different. "Try asking a Singaporean about what their passion in life is, and you'll get a cold stare, cos they weren't taught what their passion should be in school. If something is not dictated to them, they won't know what they should answer." - One American friend told me. It was impossible for me to disagree.
2.In school, or even uni, they are only interested in learning something if it is going to turn up in the exam. An acquaintance who's a lecturer told me if whatever she sets as reading doesn't get 'tested' or appear in the exam, the students have the gall to tell her she wasted their time! This lecturer was floored that to Singaporean uni students something inadvertently learnt can be thought of as 'wasted'!
3. Even for those who' forgive' LKY for locking up communist leaders in the past, in order to push his agenda to the people, - because Singapore turned out so good, they take it as LKY knew better than them. It's once again the "I can't think, so someone (LKY) did it for me. Thank you, thank you!" kind of attitude which you find behind those wanting restrictions on free speech, tighter controls on opinions, more nannying by the Singapore govt etc. Why are most Singaporeans so scared to think? Are they scared they'll think 'wrong'?
For example in the past when they thought communism was the way to go - how 'wrong' and 'unthinking' they were and how lucky for them the brainy LKY came along and jailed all the bad communists. Are we breeding Singaporeans who are scared to think in case it's 'wrong'? Or are we breeding Singaporeans who can no longer think because from school days to the govt policies, they've always been told how and what to think? What happens when Singaporeans can't and don't think and depend on the govt to think for them? Isn't this a dangerous problem, and how does society move forward and how does innovation and creativity emerge when Singaporeans don't and can't think anymore?
What's you think???

Hey, what a surprise... Canada judiciary is subject to exactly the same high standards of Singapore's judiciary.

@ 1130 WTF man?
ReplyDelete>> What's you think??? <<
You just wrote a few paragraphs claiming that "Singaporeans can't think" and then you ask "What's you think?" ๐คฃ๐
Here's my observation and opinion:
1. Losing face --- when you are wrong, you lose face (A sad artefact of Singaporean culture)
2. Singaporeans (like all human beings) do think. What they are want to do is remain reticent i.e. they don't express themselves easily because if they're wrong, they LOSE FACE.
LKY was not a man who accepted the propensity of humans to be wrong most of the time. In fact, he was very harsh. So we have a culture of kiasi-kiasu because no one wants to risk other people's opinions about them.
Expressing yourself even t the point of being wrong leaves you exposed to ridicule and judgement. And I'll say it again, like I have many times before: man the fuck up, and GET OVER your negative feelings.
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action limits the nuclear activities of Iran. It also outlined what sanctions are being lifted against Iranian assets and personnel. Following the agreement, it was placed into international law by Security Council Resolution 2231. Subsequently Uncle Sam unilaterally abrogated its agreement. All previous sanctions were unilaterally re-imposed.
ReplyDeleteUncle Sam controls the world banking system. It can isolate states and impose sanctions and embargoes by abusing extraterritorial laws such as "Trading With Enemy Act". The argument used by Canada to kidnap Sabrina Meng because of its extradition treaty with Uncle Sam is against the JCPOA and SC Resolution 2231 and therefore not in accordance with international law.
Whoa whoa Matilah got stirred up.

I'm not "proud" to be associated with any cuntry. A cuntry is only good for me as long as it serves a purpose in concord with my own self interests. There are many cuntries on this planet. My motto is "Go to the place where you are treated the best"
