INSIDE North Korea - Personal Experiences
North Korea or its Official name, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is not as well-known as many other countries. Many descriptions of DPRK also do not provide a fair and balanced holistic "big picture" of the beautiful country known by the many who actually have visited her.
Embedded as a DPRK Business Mission Team member is Mediacorp journalist Ms Wong Pei Ting. Her first person account of the Historic Mission is unconventional, fair, balanced, honest and wonderfully informative.

Personal experience? Does case trust 2nd hand car dealer in Singapore provide warranty? Provide report? First world country?
ReplyDeleteDid foreign talent make Singapore grade A? I scared distinction too difficult for foreign talent. I put grade A only. Where is world cup soccer team?
What is old leader doing?
China e-bike got COE? 2 bid clap clap clap. 4 bid clap clap clap. 6 bid clap clap clap.
Hiyah! Main media cannot con the public already, now resort to using RB's blog to sell ko-yot?
ReplyDeleteAll propaganda and fake news lah.
If I want to do business, there are so many countries which have much better opportunities than North Korea. For example, many of the African States.
One personal experience is one swallow which does not make a Summer.
ReplyDeleteA few swallows do not represent all swallows, birds and bees.
A group of guided blind men cannot describe accurately in detail how an elephant really looks like.
The readers of this blog are not gullibles and imbeciles.
Better keep your experiences to yourself, unless you have ulterior motive!
North Korea just too dangerous to visit.. They checked your mobile for images. U said the wrong thing or accidentally tore a newspaper with fatty image, u are history. That kind of country, why bother to spend money there to suffer? There are so many countries on earth for u to visit to tour, to work and to invest, why bother? I don't understand. ๐ฐ
ReplyDeleteIf the response is good, no need advertising. When people can make lots of money, would they want to share with you? They get rich themselves first, then their immediate families, then their relatives, then friends and finally the baby holders.
ReplyDeleteThat is the tooth and nothing but the tooth.
Anyone still refuses to discard the thrash that western media been planting inside their numbskull that NK is suffering from famine and abject poverty?
ReplyDeleteRb, not that one has that idea but the fact remains it's a dangerous place to visit.
ReplyDeleteGot free speech there? Can search google or instagram?
ReplyDeleteI am a retired businessman . My first trip to Vietnam is in 1989. To Iraq in abt 1994 . Six months later America invaded
ReplyDeleteThe Coutry. In 1996 I went to Dprk through Beijing . Beijing airport was small with two squat ing toilets one stair down the
Arriving hall. Since then I don’t have to tell you the awesome progress China made
Back to Dprk, I feel sad when people perception of the country are based what they read in NY times, Washionton post, CNN .,
AP, Revters,Bloomberg , WS etc who own theses outfits.. Try to be more adventurous .of there r poor people everywhere etc.i
I have bee there at 9 times. If u are in the civi service or or working for GLC I suggest u stay in Singapore, safer, beautiful country etc
DPRK is only dangerous if you read western media. It is safer than NY or Singapore for sure, you don't get mugged or beaten up by beastly policemen, or shot at because you are black or looked like someone from the ME.
ReplyDeleteRedbean is right. WAKE UP..! Go DPRK and see for yourselves. Pyongyang is far safer than Hochiminh City or Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou 30-40 years ago, and even today! If you are so afraid, better stay at home and don't leave your HDB flat, man!

ReplyDeleteThe article says that Dr Nah called Pyongyang a "Potemkin Village". And I tend to agree with him. You can tell a nice story with a bunch of pretty, positively-skewed pictures. I've been to a bunch of "developing cuntires". All of them have areas built up to "developed standards" mostly in their cities. For e.g.: I can go to Bangkok and get some pics from say, the Sukhumvit area and look like a rich 1st world cuntry. But (to those who are familiar with Thailand) you don't have to go very far to find a Bangkok slum, which you can shoot and post to make Thailand look like a basket-case Turd Whirled Cuntry (Imagine, if you will a whiling turd in a cunt...got the picture? Good...)...which Thailand is clearly NOT.
So I don't mind "Potemkin Village". At least we know N Kore is "on the way" and thus it is time for people to wake the fuck up, and change their ideas...in light of NEW EVIDENCE. That would be the rational thing to do. ๐
Go N Korea! You have at least one new FAN! ๐คฉ Jesus Christ, hurry up and get those capital markets set up! Since everything is about to crash in the "real world", now would be a good time to start! $๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ค
