China has no military allies

This is the sneer the Americans keep broadcasting to the world and its allies. China may not have military allies, but it has friends all over the world and is the top and second biggest trading partners of more than 100 countries. China does not need military allies for two main reasons. One, China does not aspire to be a hegemon military Empire and has renounced war as an option to settle differences between states. China does not seek to threaten any country with sanctions or with wars. Two, China is now more than capable of defending itself against any external threat from the Americans or a combined force of hostile military allies.

Is China concerned about the Quad, the encirclement by the American Empire, or the military exercises conducted by a pretentious regional power like India? With China’s military might today, and growing, soon it would have at least 6 aircraft carriers, China is not even bothered by the threats of an American preemptive strike or an all out war. As far as India is concerned, it is irrelevant, insignificant and would at most be a pin prick irritant. China could overrun India any time if India did the foolish thing again.

India is positioning itself as a regional power and aspiring to be a superpower with a third world economy and infrastructure. All the silly countries that think India is going to be a super power and eager to be a part of this ‘great super power’ and India as their regional master are welcome to defer to this ‘great’ military power that has never won a war except to bully its small neighbours and treating them as semi colonies.

Even if India is to form a military pact with the 16 countries that are holding a joint military exercise, it would at best be a joke. Economically, militarily, in science and technology, India is still a third world country in every aspect. And these countries want to call India boss?

Would China be worried about a little ant crawling around when it is in contention with the USA to be the Number One super power in all fields? India is just not in the super power league for another half a century at least, if it ever gets there.

  1. It may appear that China has got no military allies. Who knows in time of a real war China might even have military allies. Who knows NK or Russia may even be China's allies. China Chinese majority don't like war as they had experienced it before in their 5000years of history. China Chinese people r experienced warring nation & had many military experts ( in the past u have Sun Tzi Art of War, Wu Zi, Bai Qi, Zhu Ge Liang, Huang Shi Gong, Tai Ging Bing Fa & many many more..) in terms of warring Generals there r many too Like Guan Yu, Yue Fei, and many moderns ones. In moderns times u have Mao Zedong, Deng Xiao Ping, now Xi JinPing. China has no lack of military talents & might, the Chinese r hardworking smart peasants & r peacemakers, they would go all out to protect their territories & wouldn't settle less when be attacked. Their military might will serve as a deterrent against any aggressors who tries to test China military might.

China one squad can slaughter one company of their tummies with samsu liquor soldiers and one battalion can take on their three brigades.

  4. I think the Indian politicians are starting to believe too much in their own hubris. I also suspect there is a bit of national pride and jealousy in the mix.

China is quickly getting its shit together militarily. And they have so far allocated resources well. Cyberwarfare---they and the Russians are the top. China's missile defences are far superior to even the US, Israel etc. They may not yet have the might of the awesome USA---yet---but their missile systems are bloody great. Good luck to any contenders who would try an air or sea-based assault on Chinese territory.

China is also quickly abandoning the "cheap and nasty" manufacturing and is propelling itself very quickly up the "value chain" to become a tech juggernaut. IMO, this is one of the reasons India is a little pissed. China is going to overtake India in tech and innovation if present trends continue.

Let's talk STEM education. Both China and India are big on STEM, but the number of Chinese engineering and science graduates coming into the market every year is enough to populate a small cuntry. They don't have "useless degrees" like they do in western cuntries...for e.g.: Women and gender studies, liberal arts, religious studies, and other useless frippery in academia.

In time, China will find its allies. Geo politics is like that. Humans form relationships...its a messy process because human beings are quirky, and complicated.

    This question you must ask

The PM, Lee Hsien Loong or his

Pro-India Indian Foreign Minister, or his

Pro-India Indian Law Minister, or his

    Pro-India Indian DPM, or

    his Indian Chief Justice, or

    his Indian-disguised-as-Malay Non-Elected PuppetPresident.

Does that answer your question, Daft Sinkie?

Singapore has been playing a double-talk of putting one leg in the western boat and another in the eastern boat all the while. When the Old Man was around, the balancing act was relatively well played. However, after his death, his son has not been able to display the same skill as his father. His tail has been exposed. So, he uses magic to turn this tail into a third leg and place it in another boat, called the Indian Boat of Simplicity.

At present, Singapore is trying to balance with THREE legs. Next it may have to grow another leg, in order to balance with FOUR legs.

    Get the drift?

Using the Gst hike as distraction, Sinkieland missed the opportunity to further improve its economy thru innovation & technology while its competitor HK had even more budget surplus to do more in innovation, technology & tax reliefs for its citizens. Sinkieland tend to lose more in Asian economy for the years to come, collecting more taxes indiscriminately will cost the country competitiveness even more & cos severe income/social inequality.

Hire one fake engineer to repair your ferari, u know it will cause fire when running on the road. Repair mrt is high tension power equipment, fake engineers do properly trained can only help those trains made 50 years ago in india.

Can u imagine, all the color lines are not reliable after the foreign talents come in 2.5 millions? They can check these are graduates from mumbai, but whether the hired went for classes or cheated in exam or copied in thesis, there is no way to check. Remember once LRT riser room caught fire? how could fire happen in electrical room? can guess lah. Xgx had UPS not charged, how can IT trained people dont know UPS? Heard about "wrong" program loaded in xgx software?
Now u see the signalling problem causes all kinds: the most beautiful one was a stopped train suddenly dashed forward to crash at the front train resulted 39 injured, some heard was broken somewhere, the media never want to go into details bc it was "in contact" only.
Time to vote for alternative ie do not vote for Pap to cause foreigners to come into. It is getting dangerous with more foreigners taking over the main institutions. What foreigners are useful? They should take over NS for youths to take over proper jobs at 18. Foreigners taking over army will not cause problems to trains and other service. No need army here at all. Bay fight, boh spirit to fight.

Eh tambi, the shit that is happening in China can go sideways lah. Xi want to remove presidential term limits and (I suspect) try to be the Lee Kuan Yew of China.

Sure, if he gets it "right" maybe China could be a scaled up version of the Singapore model...i.e. fucking rich and awesome.

But if he messes up, the worse case scenario is civil war and the eventual breakup of China into many independent states.

If you look at the math (probability), failure is "easier" to attain than success, because there will always be more ways to fail than to succeed.

I'd say that if China removes presidential term limits and opts for a "strongman" leadership diminishing the power and influence of consensus, along with the "safety" consensus brings, that would be a major game-changer.

You know darn well that if they opt for the "strongman" model, and the tendency of that model to fail, outside influences and interlopers will come to kacau and try to fuck up the show. That you can bet on lah.

'How good is PLA in fight, there is no record. The last was in 1979. China did badly with Vietnam. However, PLA is now equipped with modern weapons and missiles. Vietnam has yet to test it out. Will Vietnam want to be loser this time?'

Your post exposes how little you know about east Asian history and modern warfare. When the Americans chased the N Koreans to the Yalu River, they thought they were invincible. With air superiority and superiority in all military hardware, MacArthur even flirted with the idea of marching into China.

Who do you think chased them all the way from the Yalu River to the 38 parallel and they had to call a truce?

What do you know of the humiliating defeat of the India 4th Army Corp in the 1962 Sino Indian border war?

You believed every bit the western media wrote about Vietnam giving China a lesson in their border war. The fact, China demanded Vietnam to withdraw from Laos and Cambodia. If Vietnam did give China a lesson, would they quai quai withdraw their mighty armies from Laos and Cambodia? Inadvertently you let the cat out of the back by asking, 'Will Vietnam want to be loser this time?'

China also fought a naval battle with the Vietnamese to take back islands seized by the Vietnamese quite recently.

China fought three wars and won after 1949 and assisted the Vietnamese to defeat the Americans.

As for your knowledge on modern warfare, you need to read more, find out more about the use of technology, satellites, computers, drones etc etc. Modern warfare is no longer simply fighting with weapons and military hardware. It is a very complex system involving combined forces and employing hi tech and cyber technology and many sophisticated technologies.

You believed what you said about the Japanese? You believed the Japanese Self Defence Forces are a force for self defence? The Japanese SDF is the biggest and most powerful armed forces in Asia second only to China, much more powerful than India or the whole of Asean combined. Their soldiers are civil servants, you mean like our Civil Defence Force, weak, timid and harmless?

  20. Trump is pushing Moon to re start the global biggest war game. North Korea Chol the vice chairman of North Korea had told South Intelligence chief North s objection before he went back.

Trump at meantime up the scale of sanctions. Trump told governors:
"Addressing a gathering of state governors at the White House, Trump lauded China for its efforts to curb North Korea’s economic activity but said "Russia is sending in what China is taking out".

US nuclear chief also place Russia as first existential enemy, North is potential and China is "catching up".

In other words, if piecing together, US strategic commanders treat Russia as first enemy and North the second. When in Asia decision, North will be targeted whether Kim Jong Un gives up nuclear or not.
US Trump is trying hard to pull China to US side against North Korea and Russia.

US is using Taiwan to subdue China s interest to support North Korea. Therefore the game is changing fast. Russia is trying to help North to negotiate with South. US is trying hard to stay away to negotiate with North, while pushing hard to start the drills to prepare to invade North.

Ending question: will South invade the North? If North could prevent South s troops joining the invasion, North estimates US dare not to go it alone to invade North. It will be similar war like Kosovo. US Albright could dare only to bomb Kosovo. Nothing was done except damages. North should be prepared for this only? Kim if daring may fire missiles on all US bases in Asia. The death with chemical weapons will be serious by thousands. If by conventional bombs, US will still cannot function as normal in Asia. If war starts, Russia is likely to supply North with arsenals. Changi residents might need to buy helmet.

A very prescient LKY told China's former leader Deng Xiaoping: "You're able to catch up with us, even better than Singapore, and there's no problem at all," Lee said. "We are only the descendants of illiterate, landless farmers in Fujian, Guangdong and other places, but many of you are the descendants of officials and scholars."

Both Deng and Lee believed a country should be led by competent people and a strong leader with a global view.

ZaoBao once reported that Xi Jinping, before he became President, had visited Singapore four times when he served in Fujian Province.

The majority of people in both countries are Chinese and have same cultural roots.

India should bear that in mind.

  27. Black Cobra or Indian More Dangerous?March 01, 2018 11:47 pm

There is no way the Indians can take over Singapore. Some of those Indian Singaporean Ministers may think they have the power to convert Singapore into a semi-India colony by aligning with and leaning towards India. And by influencing the PM to import more Indians to replace the Chinese and Malay Singaporeans. They had better think deep and hard.

If they are too overly ambitious they may find themselves in deep shit. The Chinese and Malays may view them as traitors and deal with them accordingly. Selling out the country to one's ancestral motherland, if can be done so easily, the Chinese MAJORITY would have done so under LKY long ago.

By the way, the Malays and Chinese have common ancestors and common DNA. They can get along more easily with one another. Whereas the Indians have always been at logger-head with the Chinese traditionally, culturally and historically. This fact must remain in the calculations of all situations - present and future.

Another point to note is that the SAF is manned by mostly Chinese Singaporeans. When the need arises, they may take action to ensure that the MAJORITY Chinese do not become the MINORITY#

"This makes it absolutely invincible for any forms of air and missile defence," he said, calling it an "ideal weapon".

Russia has also developed unmanned underwater devices that move much faster than submarines and torpedoes and can carry nuclear warheads, Putin said, adding: "It's just fantastic!"
