Sit in protest at Hong Lim this Sat 16 Sep 4.30pm

Dear Fellow Singaporeans,

We have just received the NParks permit to stage a first-ever Silent Sit-in
Protest against the Reserved Presidential Election this coming Saturday
16th Sep from 4.30 to 6.30pm.

Its a sit-in protest meaning that we won’t have any speakers for the event
with no stage and no microphone speaker system. You can however bring along
your placards to show your displeasure with the incoming
government-appointed Presidency.

If you feel dissatisfied with the recent events surrounding the
controversial PE, this is the time to show up and be counted. You can
continue to be a keyboard warrior quietly firing away online but the time
to step up is NOW!....Gilbert Goh

The above is a message from Gilbert Goh, the organiser of the sit in protest against the EP process, not against Halimah Yacob as the next President.

Details of his message can be found in Transitioning.org or TRE.

  1. Wah lau. You all must be super rich to have so much free time. I'm talking about 3-4 hours (accounting for traveling and "get-ready" times) on a precious Saturday afternoon to go and sit and sweat in a park (with very little shade, and plenty of traffic noise) for some fait accompli---an action which is bound to have no measurable result. (Yes folks, if you cannot measure it, it doesn't count!)

The fucking PAP already know your displeasure lah. WOW! Are you surprised? ๐Ÿคก The PAP just don't give one flying fuck (zero fucks given) about your feelings.

I told you years ago that the idea of an EP was a very fucking bad one. But you dumbos went and pressured the Evil to "get your way".

You fucks deserve the govt you get, and deserve the wishes you worked so hard in attaining.

Do you think that Singapore will one day act RATIONALLY in its own interests?

I hope not. I love the entertainment. I love laughing my ass off at people's arrogance, and the consequences thereof. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyway, enjoy sitting on the grass on a Saturday afternoon whilst the rest of the cuntry goes shopping, eating and horse racing. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿฟ

  2. Not because I want to pour cold water.

Protest at HLP? No use one!

Will be attended by the same few protestors and same old faces.

    Don't forget....the massive 70% voters behind PAP!

What do the protest aims to achieve?

You think they will take note?

You think the rest of the masses "chup" this EP issue?

    So......at the end.............only lan-lan****

    Yes! Only lan-lan!

  7. The Republic of Sinkapoorura First Lady President has just sworn in.
This is a story of a young muslim gal in Sinkieland whom run road from a 'Teh Gu' ( or Environ Inspector) to become an MP & Speaker of Parliament & eventually become the First Lady President of this little red dot. AT first glance, her life story seems nothing, but from a NoboLee to a SomeBolee that's a great achievement, a big leapfroging...one has to think that She must definitely has something that noboLee else does ( maybe her hijab or tudong ..oops can't say like this its racist & totally a disrespect to her Royal Highness)...KaWaLan Komatan Homak President Hamak Sen Ja Ta! ..Ladies & Gentlemen...lets rise to welcome our Mdm Kaka President...Homak! 9. Every Drop Of Water, Every Bit Of Sand

A heroic deed indeed, O' Gilbert Goh
To go against the monstrous Banyan Tree.
Your courage is worth more than gold,
With determination to set everyone free
From its creepy roots that grip a strangle-hold
Upon the citizenry unable to think and see.

In Hong Lim Park you appeared again and again
Alas, so many times, so much have gone in vain.
Nevertheless, you still go on without respite
For the sake of Freedom for those unable to bite.
It is not a matter of if, but a matter of when
That the Banyan Tree will rot and tumble then.

So, please go on, our hero, our idol and our friend
The day of reckoning will come, no monsters can prevent
The dead will rise from the graves to take just revenge
The living will master their resolves without relent
The scoundrels, wolves, jackals, foxes and snakes
Will meet their destiny in deepest hell, horrendous hades.

Let us all show our appreciation, once at least
For every small effort by every little man,
Who went forward head-on to meet the monstrous beast
And fell on the way, in failure again and again
For they formed the foundation for the final release
Of energy, fury and fire to burn the Banyan Tree, the Beast!

To Hong Lim Park, for once, to lend a hand.
As this is the most critical moment to make Your stand
Up against the unfair, unjust and undemocratic band,
Who manipulated the constitution with logic on quicksand,
To erect a puppet on pedestal that will never stand
'Cause it's shameful, disgraceful and sinful in the end.

So, wake-up you must, my fellows and my friends,
For the time has come for you to take Your stands
On the spots of fairness. justice and democracy,
Before You regret for inaction and complacency.
Every drop of water, every bit of sand,
Together they make the ocean and the land!

So, make it a point to make your presence count
To Hong Lim Park tomorrow, without fail, at Downtown!

  15. Solving one problem creates another 10 other problems in the past 52 years?

Often the original problem wasn't solved either?

So total ended up with 1 + 10 problems for the younger generation ahguamen ...?

For example, the "Stop at 2" policy ...?

By 1980, old fart tried to U-turn but too late liao ...?

In the first place, it wasn't a problem but old fart thought it was a problem ...?

Now the ahguamen core diluted beyond bastardised recognition by leg open big big horny horny promiscuous sluty shameless thick hide (kongcum) population policy ...?

The 1st political problem of young nations is how to "forge a common identity" ...?

Where got (daft) LEEders in this world undo it and "dilute the common identity" ...?

Can imagine Xi Jin Ping try to solve their population decline problem by bringing in few hundred million 3rd world immigrants such as ah neh into China and dilute their "common identity" ...?

This is exactly what wooden block under the blessing of old fart did when he shamelessLEE slutiLEE irresponsibLEE open the leg wide wide since 1990 ...?

The population was at about 3 million in 1990 ...? By 2000, it was 4 million when birth rate was plunging like off the cliff? Where did the one million extra came from within 10 years?

Even old level economics teach 16-yo that increasing quantity of labour (population) will increase the GDP? Does it need any economist or super talent to figure that out? But in the long run, is it sustainable? When the population reach 10 million and there are 6 million unproductive labour, will not the remaining 4 million having thoughts of running road too to escape this ridiculous irresponsible kongcum population policy started by wooden block and the can kicked down the road for a few decades and implodes in the face of the millenial generation?

Means the grandchildren of the daft PG have to face the music from the countless time bombs and problems planted by wooden block and his cohort of useless 2g gang ...?

History will tell the whole world down the road that it was the useless 2g cohort that killed the future of ahgualand?

An economy run by 2 kongcum legal trained dictators ...?

Run the economy into the ground in the end?

In the end, ahgualand economy is neither sustainbable nor inclusive?

    It is UNsustainable and Extractive?

Only the JLBs benefit and harvest the fruits while the rest are just mere slaves being exploited and extracted eveLEE ounce of blood, sweat and sinew?

  16. Just see headline and don't read their neaseous progangada.

    Halimah like Singapore History.

True, true. now Sinkies after like Halimah from poor and humble beginnings to rise into power just simply enriched themselves like the PAPIES and had lost their souls for the common folks.

just wayang, wayang that they care.

Lau Goh, Kee Chiu what humble beginnings not even insulted old folks that scavenged cardboards for a living. Forgot their own roots.

What's go up can also come down. Don't forget that.

Just see Chew chee cartoons today and you see their time engulfed in just monies making policies make what's our Society today.

  21. As expected they are quibbling about the numbers that attended the sit in with he figure ranging from 800 to 2000. Cheng Bock and Jee Say were there and so was Lim Tean.

This EP was supposed to be a big thing and the new President a great honour to be elected. Unfortunately the rigging of the Constitution and the whole process stink and have robbed Halimah from this great honour.

If it was done without all the politiking and you know what, the election of Halimah would be such a great day in the history of Singapore. Alas....it has become something not worth mentioning.

I would like to congratulate her for being the elected President, but how? Just like I would like to congratulate Chuan Jin for his promotion to the Speaker of Parliament, but how?

  22. I think the nos of people attending the protest at HLP is not very relevant. As long as there are people showing up is good enough. Those not attending does not mean there are not against. Keep this in mind. Thank to Gilbert, keep the spirit high !
