The Asean Revolution

The Duterte Revolution in the Philippines has set about a rethinking of the Philippines history, the colonization and massacres of Pinoys and the pathetic state of the economy under so called American aid, and the unending rebellion in the South the Americans claimed to be quelling but instead fuelling and financing. The Pinoys have woken up to their sorry state of affair after more 100 years of American domination. The Philippines are one of the poorest and least developed Asean countries and still dependent on foreign aid, ie American junks and crumbs and expected to be grateful.

Look at Indonesia and Malaysia and Thailand, all three economies have surged past the Philippines in economic growth and have higher quality of lives for their people. But the Revolution in Asean did not start in the Philippines. The Asean Revolution started a few months prior to Duterte’s ascendency as the President of Philippines, right in the heart of Malaysia!

Unbelieveable, but the Chinese are moving into Malaysia in a very big way. Duterte was successful to clinch $24 billion of contracts for the Philippines in 4 days, a very good result. The Malaysians have an earlier start. 4 major projects in Malaysia, some started a few years earlier, are worth at least $100b, from the Forest City in South West Johore, the Greenland development in Johore Bahru, the megacity in KL that would be the new transportation hub for high speed trains linking to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar and onwards to China and Europe, and the newly commissioned Malaysia China Kelatan Industrial Park.

Malaysia is getting an economic boost from the Chinese investment and would take off way ahead of Indonesia and the Philippines.  If you have not heard about it, the Chinese have started production of high speed trains from their factory in KL in preparation for the building of the high speed trains in Malaysia.  Najib is visiting China to raise Malaysia China relations to a new height.

What is happening in Malaysia could be the things that the Philippines could also be expecting in the Duterte Revolution. Philippines could go the same path as Malaysia, for economic growth and development and not be made the quarrelsome barking dog of the Americans, everyday dying to fight a war, raising and provoking tensions in a conflict that it can never win except to drain its limited resources, the lost of more Pinoy lives and forever be dependent on the Americans to dole them with junks and crumbs. What are the Americans offering, more military training to fight a green monster, selling of weapons and stoking rebel activities in the South.

With Malaysia taking the lead, showing the way, the Thais and the Philippines tagging along, Asean is going to see rapid economic development and growth while the world economy goes on a downward swing. Singapore got to be very careful not to lose out in this Chinese stimulus and miss the train, literary and otherwise. Yes, if the high speed train linking to China and Europe just ends in KL, KL will be the new transportation hub, replacing Singapore or at least taking away half of the transportation and logistic business.  With all the goods between Europe and China travelling by train, by passing Singapore, you can expect a drop of 50% of sea traffic calling at Tuas. Oh, before I forget, Thailand would be the biggest land transportion hub in Southeast Asia with high speed trains linking to China, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia.
The Asean Revolution has started and hundreds of billions will be injected into the Asean economies to drive the needed growth to keep Asean countries afloat in a world economy shrouded by dark clouds and uncertainties. The poor Americans did not have the money to finance such huge projects at an international scale. Worst, they could not think of it, unable to conceptualise such an intercontinental idea and lost the initiative to the Chinese. They forgot that money can be made in other economic enterprises other than inciting wars and selling weapons.

  4. Hsien Loong build many bungalows in Sentosa and high end condos for the rich PRCs to buy with their ill gotten gains.

And also open casinos for them to gamble.

And the banks can do some private banking for these PRCs to park their money or maybe also do some money laundering.

This is how China help Sinkieland. Of course poor and daft Sinkies will not benefit from this lah.

Are you ready to follow virgo49 to "huat-huat-huat"? Get-rich-fast?

  6. Thete was nothing good said about China Investments in Malaysia in the Channel News Asia hosted by an Alien looking host.
Negative narratives were the Main Content in the First Part of the Documentary. lt sounded as though China is out to exploit the Malaysians.

The Documentaries will be running across the Region and let us see how CNA will present them. Yhe First Part is definitely very anti China.

  7. Anyone wants war games?
You can have real wars too, free of course. Just buy more weapons and pay later...for the rebuilding of your destroyed country and economy.

    Anyone wants military alliances?
We are the experts is signing military alliances.

Anyone wants to buy the best military weapons?
We have the best, and easy soft loans available.

Anyone wants to help to breed and finance their resistance forces?
We are the best in this field. If need testimonies, Hillary Clinton will vouch for it.

We are the best, we Americans are the best suppliers of the above.

Anyway, there are more of the Programmes schedule for telecasts.
    Those interested can follow them
    or toggle them.

l do quite concur that CNA does stand for Channel News Angmoh, but fake and phoney pseudo angmohs with American Accents, not English or British.

Yea i saw the documentary. Definitely part of Sg media's attempt to make China look bad. CNA is a globalist/USG mouth piece. They even have to use a mix race presenter, to show their bias. CNA is home to wanted eurasians who cannot make it in the west because they look too Asian, hence must come here.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Channel news asia is a proxy to American idealogy, all their presenters are subconsciously/consciously America 1000%, they all speak American slang, it seems to be a necessary prerequisite for the job! WHY DOES CNA BRAND THEMSELVES NEWS WITH ASIAN PERSPECTIVE WHEN IT IS SO OBVIOUS IT IS AMERICAN PROPAGANDA CHANNEL? I might as well watch CNN directly. There is no value added in CNA programs at all!!!!

  13. China s strategy is far attractive to Aseans except Singapore and Vietnam. Thailands buys china weapons while china buys thairice. The rail link will speed up thai products selling to china, which is the huge market for rice. Only siowkow will not see this or corrupted officials wants to be billionaires will play the thai farmer out.
Myannmar is uncertain. It received lots of help from Japan. Go take buses there, you find japanese advertisements. Those are used japanese buses. Loas is deep inside lands so rail link will open up the civilization which it needs most: scientific living live style.
China has the financial power to open up these neighbors. Xi seems to aim for these objectives to develop rails directly linking to Germany.

In next 20 years. We can see the tremendous progress for these backward Asean countries.
Not to forget. NK. In recent days of Korean war celebration on 26th, China sent its deputy FM to NK. Something is cooking. Again, NK is the most important comrade after Xi trying to court the woman SK president failed badly. That woman like angmor tiarky. Thaad will hit China security hardest ever. May be the 8 time sound speed sliding weapons will hit this Thaad in next few years, when Thaad radar monitoring China irritates PLA too much. NK will synchronize the timing of nuclear explosions to scare the Americans army at SK harder. When American asks SK soldiers to trigger, then China will have the chance to shoot at the Thaad once for all.

I think RB was correct. China speed rail is likely to stop at KL to save cost. Further distribution to other cities should be local distributors tasks.
Singapore is the supreme US base in Asean after Philippines chase US marines away. There is no need to have rail link from KL as Singapore do not need products from China. Singapore will not get many china tourists and it does not need these china men or women to roam the streets. Singapore will have lots of US marines to roam the streets buy up all the barkquar and ah quar. The carriers as market is bigger and these people are rich ang mor. China market has no money to buy singapore goods because singapore dollars are not depreciating like renminbi. Sin dollars are appreciating adjusted upwards constantly by MAS as a long term policy. China market cannot afford Sin dollars products in the long run. Singapore is unique in Asean as a super regional power ensuring internal laws are followed. Watch for Shangrila in May or June next year, see how PLA will be harrassed in this regional power capital. Singapore will be highlighted by US as the best friend in Asia, better than Japan. China will envy Singapore, too bad.

How much sophistication do you think is needed to win the support of 70% Singaporeans?
But international politics and politicians are not as daft as Singaporeans.
So maybe require more sophistication than PAP can deliver ???

Is China also winning a lot of support in Malaysia with their equivalent "HDB upgrading project" like the Forest City in Johor?

  20. China seems to be having more military exchanges with Asean countries though.

Will there ever be a RSAF exercise with PLAAF in the near future?

Royal Thailand Air Force Gripens and Chinese PLAAF J-11 had joint exercises last november 2015.

One wonder if Rep of Spore airforce which under tremendous US influence as the main supplier of its jet fighters is able to independently and freely decide as a sovereign State who to train without fearing repercussion ?

  21. I do not consider the recent developments as Asean revolution.

I think the official launching of the Kra Project would be ultimate Asean revolution.

    It cuts/divides Asean into two!

  25. What international laws? US did not rectify the UNCLOS. US congress kept the laws there for 20 over years never confirmed US wants to follow. Singapore wants China to follow International Laws. That refered to the fake Tribunal set up by Japanese judge and led by US lawyers. That is the ugly part of this US s claims of demanding China to follow International Laws. At Shangrila, China general pointed this UNCLOS out.

Iran when asked why it supported China. The official said China will not meddle with Iran s internal decisions. Singapore wants China to follow International Laws without pointing out the fake Hague Tribunal that was not empowered to decide on territorial ownership. UNCLOS is not empowered to decide on territorial ownership.

Singapore now is facing isolation in Asean. Not because it was against China. It was because its claims itself has no International Laws to back it up. The MSM tried to blind the readers by branding the fake Tribunal as UN backed tribunal. It was a very dirty plan. Only foolish Pap hardcore in those "tin tank" would do such dirty tricks and the dirts hand full reporters.

When can Singapore come clean from manipulating the real facts of right or wrong? Its when this batch politicians die by natural cause and disappear from stage. Younger generations are more willing to face facts to reason out as they are hand sets users discussing issues day and night.

  26. Singapore is calling a deer as a horse.

All of sudden, Singapore diplomat dont understand the distinction between ITLOS and Fake Arbitral Tribunal formed by Philippine.

Only ITLOS (international tribunal Law of Sea) have authority to interpret and enforce UNCLOS charter.

    ReplyDelete
  27. That is true. UNCLOS has its own tribunal and arbitrators. Why didnt the UNCLOS facilities was employed, further why didnt the UN subsidiary Tribunal was employed?

As a singapore ordinary man, i know these organizations, dont bluff me the million dollars paid politicians in singapore cannot see the Aquino s plan or rather the US Obama Hillary s plan was aiming at bluffing the international communities.

I dislike to be a fool to support the local politicians who claim China did not follow the Tribunal s Judgment was wrong. These politicians and the PM was totally wrong to say the Judgment has binding power to China.

  28. Najib going to china for 1 week, longer than Duterte starting 31 Oct. Singapore need to spy on what agreements signing ceremony. Hope not Port Klang 130km extension. If that is the one, then KL links to china through speed rail should be akan datang.
Singapore PM told Abe that KL might award speed rail to Shinkanshien will be a flop.

Never mind, tell Abe that from Woodland to JE will be shinkangshien.

"Najib will hold meetings with Chinese leaders to discuss bilateral collaboration in the areas of education, defence, agriculture, trade and investment, travel and culture, science and technology and people-to-people exchanges.

The governments of Malaysia and China will ink or exchange a memorandum of understanding witnessed by Najib and Li.

Apart from bilateral talks, Najib will also hold a meeting with business personalities in China and Malaysia and will address the Malaysia-China business forum.

Najib would be witness to several signing of agreements between the business circles of Malaysia and China."

  29. Philippines' pivot to China is based on geopolitical strategy.

However, Malaysia's pivot to China because the Chinese are not investigating PM Najib's 1MDB scandal, unlike the West; while Thailand's pivot to China as the Chinese never criticize the ruling Thai military junta's coup in power seizure, unlike the West.

Still, Singapore PM had been harping that China would be ostracized by nations if it exert its claims in the South China sea - but the opposite is happening. That's embarrassing . . .

  30. The opposite to US s carriers lone navigation is more run way on those islands. This is very factual. Now yongxin dao can stock fighter jets with good run way. US just sailed a destroyer from the reserve 3rd fleet. China immediately on days later had live firing big navy exercise exactly on the spot near those islands.
US carriers will be destroyed if it shoot or land on those islands. The US claim they can also own those islands as the fake Judgment ruled China s ownership is illegal.
There is no doubt that China will shoot if US dare to land. US is lonely without Philippines to jointly do the navigation. Singapore is the next in Asean closest to US. Singapore should go challenge China s ownership to support the "strong and powerful" judgment. US may arrange another dinner at white house when new president sit in. Can "chai toh"(table dinner), Singapore should go for it.

Today, when everyone is educated, well read and thinking, when there is access to alternative media, to internet, how could these fools think that they could fool the masses by talking rubbish, that black is white and think the masses would just accept it, and be made a fool of?
