Bukit Batok does not want to go away

Remember the rats incident? Remember the by election? Now it is about TB and how children in a kindergarten were exposed when a FT teacher has active TB. Active hor, infectious. Now the children had to be screened and for a few to be infected is very likely.

How many more children will be exposed to this almost non existent disease in this island? How widespread or serious is TB in this island today?

With more than 2 million foreigners here, with many now citizens or PRs, what kind of risk are we exposed to? TB is only one such risk. How many other kinds of biological and non biological risks that would have a long term health effect on the population and is this a fair price to pay for the large presence of foreigners from third world countries being invited here?

There is a price to pay for everything. It is not always free for the benefits we are deriving from them. How to vet the 2 million foreigners here? Were they vetted before entry?

  6. A very good question - How widespread is TB infection in red dot?

I hope it is not once in 51 years. And I hope they are not going to tell us that there is nothing to worry about, like the cracked train carriages and the AGO report on the financial mishaps of the Government bodies.

Serious or not, it depends on which side of the fence you are sitting on. 70% asked for it on one side and 30% have to be the collateral victims on the other. Sad indeed!

    1. Tq for the repeated encore

Oldies here in some ways all find resonance with the character "Liang Po Po" in her (in)famous catch phrase ""真的是伤脑筋喔"?

Nothing more apt than this catch phrase "真的是伤脑筋喔" to personify the 3-yo mentality and cock up (selfish, self-serving unsustainable policies) of the ah-LEEs-toe-rats?

Come, on the count of 3, let's do it together:

    RB

Very hard to vet lah, when 70% still want to vote for PAP. So why would PAP want to vet?

Sinkies die their business lah, because PAP can easily find replacement, never mind if they got TB. PAP and Sinkies can only pray and hope (all 4 letter words) that they don't have TB.

As long as PAP Aristocrats don't get TB and die, it means everything is okay.

  16. It is the job of a slave to serve his Aristocrat Millionaire owner.
And if a slave dies in the course of doing his job ... the slave should be grateful for the honour.

We should all be grateful for having the opportunity to die of TB so that our Aristocrats can achieve a 6.9 million population.

  17. Tuberculosis could very well
be the Gift of Sin to the World
    at large.
Sin is quite a hub for human
    traffic.
So, if those at the Front Line
are infected such as SMRT, Airport,
Hawker, Taxi and Bus Drivers and Retail Outlet are affected, imagine the Consequences.

    1. The Tuberculosis is a new strain that currently has no cure for it.
So, even if Healthcare is affordable, which is NOT,
      patients will not be cured.

Maybe, the Consolation for the Patients is that
they may have an idea of how long more to enjoy living. But, there shall
be the Consciousness of the Sin of infecting others if one lacks the
      Conscience to prevent so.

It is truly a very vicious thingy.

So what if patients cannot be cured?
When one slave dies, you just import another new slave into Singapore to replace him.

    Same with Aristocrats.
When one dies, just get another to replace him.

It's only when the emperor dies.
    Then you have a problem.

  22. China provide full treatment for TB FREE of charge.
The treatment cost is fully paid by the China government.

There is no reason for chinese to have TB and comes to singapore to pay for the expensive treatment.
Patient probably went back to china after getting TB in singapore. sway sway may be staying with some foreigners from other countries in the same house or sharing same rooms.

Health care executives in china will tell u that TB treatment is paid by chinese government to ensure no one patient will hide away due to cost.

Leeders like to hire executives from sunny lands to ensure salary can never be raised in this island to suffocate the locally born pmets. Now if their so young children contacted the illness, these young couples will spend more money from their cpf. Leeders will shake the heads hey, why citizens are so bloody weak, even young children already got tb. Better to replace them all from sunny lands, making sure these sunny landers will be leeders future citizens. Sinkies mati lioa, voted for the leeders, by got no money in future for kids education and retirement. Just pay for treatment from foreigners induced illness will make them poor. Hdb prices also going up while salary going downwards, and job vacancies also declining due to poor exports and lower incomes for householders cannot affords to buy from bigger pools of retailers. Leeders are so successful in the scheme. When can voters understand the situations they are in? Will they ever understand it?

  24. Sinkies must NOT take the Tuberculosis Outbreaks too lightly.
There seems great complacency in dealing with it.

To date, l have not read or heard report of TB Patients being quarantined or confined. And it is not known if they are issued medical leave OR ARE THEY AT WORK OR ATTEND SCHOOL AS PER NORMAL.

TUBERCOLOSIS IS HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS. THE CURRENT STRAIN HAS NO CURE!

What measures has the Authority taken to prevent the Spread of the
    Disease?
How is Authority doing to contain the Outbreaks?
Is it out of control and how and what must be done?

We certainly cannot wait till it becomes an epidemic?

Beware that it is a potential
    disaster with grave consequences.
Hence, the Authority must do it
utmost to keep the People safe.

Tuberculosis is freely treated without charge in China and this
    is how serious Tuberculosis is
    view by responsible government.
