When these two words are compounded into one, they form the name Nicolas, which literally means one who conquers and subdues the people. It seems to suggest that the Nicolaitans were somehow conquering and subduing the people.

Others who call themselves otherwise are NOT included.
Ultimately, the United States shall be DIS-united. The many Races is not much of an issue, BUT, two Major Religions is latent and potential to cause splits and turmoils in time to come.

ReplyDeleteThomas Jefferson has been misinterpreted. TJ was a known isolationist---didn't want and often warned about getting into foreign entanglements.
ReplyDeleteAmerican exceptionalism is fine as long as it was confined to America. What happened in history was that certain presidents and the doctrines of the day changed the cuntry from "isolationist" (minding their own business) to "expansionist" (minding everyone else's business).
The US reluctantly got into WW1. In WW2 which was a "continuation" of WW1, America was dragged in. Post WW2, the American mainland was the only cuntry unscathed by the war. Every other cuntry involve had the shit kicked out of them---destroyed societies and no economies. America was "intact" and people had food, wealth, Frank Sinatra movies, lots of music and dancing. This made the USA the richest and the most powerful cuntry in a war-ravaged world.
After that, there was a rapid expansion of the idea of "American exceptionalism" in the global political culture. They were also the world's bankers. They lent money to Mao Zedong. They help rebuild Europe, specifically West Germany, and also Japan. They influenced the German constitution. They help draft the new Jap constitution.
....and so the meddling in international matters begins...and has expanded over the years. Having the world's reserve currency only made matters WORSE.

These folks lack conviction and are incapable of piety and loyalty. Most live as betrayor and some become traitors to their origins.
