Gilbert Goh’s petition to UN on GE2015

Gilbert Goh, the organizer for the anti Population White Paper protest in Hong Lim Park and a candidate for the Reform Party that contested the Ang Mo Kio GRC and lost, has launched a petition to the UN to complain about unfair practices in the GE.

Gilbert is asking for 1000 signatures for this petition. He said he had sent a complaint letter to the UN earlier but has not received any reply and thus the need for a petition. At this point in time more than 700 signatures have been penned for the petition.

In the petition letter Gilbert has listed down the reasons that he claimed are unfair, mainly due to gerrymandering and the injection of new citizens.

  1. Hahahahaha Gilbert again.

How many more times must he lose before he will learn to give up, or at least to rethink his methods and means to fight PAP?

Can't he at least learn from the best loser, the WP, especially Teochew Ah Hia?

Even Aung Juan Soon Chee, despite losing much more and for longer than Gilbert and including the recent GE, also won't want to do that anymore.

  2. As a matter of international protocol, the UN will not be treating Gilbert seriously if 70% Sinkies did not treat the opposition, including Gilbert, seriously in the recent GE.

That's why Gilbert has not received any reply from the UN. And what is 1000 petition signatures as compared to 70% of votes for PAP for 100% of contested seats in the recent GE?

  3. Haha. What an idiot form the lunatic fringe. The UN doesn't govern Singapore. The UN was not ELECTED by Singapore voters.

1 week before election big noise on how the PAP was going to lose, and the reason many older ministers were "retiring" their portfolios because they didn't want to "lau kwi" (lose face) in a PAP defeat.

Now just 2 weeks after election---after the "shocking" PAP win---the buggers tak boleh tahan and be gracious about it. Oh no. Must "complain" UNFAIR UNFAIR!!

All elections are "unfair". So is all commerce, exams...etc. They are unfair because one entity has something "extra" to offer the buyer.

If you read the social media, the few weeks leading up to the GE, the PAP was at an "UNFAIR" disadvantage because they TOTALLY LOST the "war" being fought in the social media, blogs and forums.

Got your "unfair" advantage/ disadvantage today?

  6. Gilbert at one time was living and working in Sydney too, and never heard of or involved in Sinkie politics.

Don't know why he want to come back and become a loser in Sinkie HLP protests and politics. Maybe a lesser loser in Sinkieland than in Aussieland?

    1. Who is the loser? Someone anonymous ,someone who brought up his personnel family matter or someone with a name.
At least he has contributed something though his way if doing is not what j expect him to do.
      没功劳也有苦劳。Lets be reasonable.

  7. Having ex-wife is not an issue to become successful in Sinkie politics.

Don't believe, just ask PAP ministers Shanmugam and Lawrence Wong.

And having a good, supportive wife and happy family and trying hard for more than 20 years is no guarantee of success, or even anywhere near to success, in Sinkie politics.

Don't believe, just ask Dr Chee Soon Juan.

  9. I've signed. I don't see why pap, after 50 years of head-start, need to be so kiasu. You mean, without those dirty tricks, they cannot win fair and square? After those 50 years, they have not convince you that they are worthy to be elected?

Pap, fight like a man, can you?

  10. Ah. Now it makes sense. Many Singaporeans who emigrate to Oz lose their "Singaporeaness" and adopt SILLY IDEAS of "social justice" (rob the rich to reward the losers and dead-shits of society) which is the prevalent ideology on Aussie campuses.

They then "come back" to Singapore with these silly ideas of WELFARISM, and love to upload pictures of the poor, down trodden and homeless of Singapore, then get on their moral high-horse and GUILT TRIP everyone in society as if it is OUR FAULT that these unfortunate people are suffering.

Good. Good. Carry on lah. The MAJORITY Singaporeans who have money have had to work DAMN FUCKING HARD and sacrifice A LOT to get where they are and to provide for their families. OK, there are some "white horses" and a "plutocracy/ aristocracy" who seem to be getting their money from nothing---but they are a minority. The rest of us, wah lau, work like mad, dun get enough sleep, have stressful situations...BUT that is a whole lot better than the alternative which is being financially fucked up in Singapore.

"Free Money Social Justice" in Singapore? Good lah Gilbert et al, try and see...try and see if you can WRENCH money out of hard working wealthy Singaporeans to "reward losers". Go ahead, try ;-)

  11. What we should not do is to drag people's wives and families into our discussion unless they offered such info voluntarily. A little decency is good for everyone.
