Parliament is dissolved today.
Nomination Day is 1 Sep 15
Polling Day is 11 Sep 15
The 50 year battle has started. 911 it will be, but will it be as monumental as bringing down the Twin Towers in New York?
Would 11 Sep be ground zero for Singapore and pave the way for a new beginning?
Or would it be the same all over?
Singaporeans are eagerly waiting for this day for great change and great expectation.
It's now or never,
ReplyDeleteFor us to take back our country.
Me no Aristocrat.
ReplyDeleteMe and my family is voting Opposition.
Me think only rich people and Aliens benefit from PAP policies.
Maybe hong chui told them its a good day for a good result.

ReplyDeleteThe final GE results.......already decided by HIM.
No one can change it!
You will be very very very very surprised!
U want to know?
Early morning, 12 Sept!
Don't Worry Be Happy!
If PAP dissolved today.
ReplyDeleteSingaporean Independence Day starts tomorrow.

Good morning Singaporeans.
ReplyDeleteIn less than 6 days, Opposition Parties will join from all around Singapore.
And we will be launching the largest election battle in the history of Singapore.
Singaporean -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.
We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore.
We will be united in our common interests.
Perhaps its fate that today is the 25th of August.
16 days after the 9th of August.
And you will once again be fighting for our freedom & independence.
Not from just tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from annihilation.
Annihilation by the un-HoLee alliance of Aliens, Traitors and Aristocrats.
We're fighting for our right to live, to exist.
And should we win on Elections day, the 11th of September will no longer be just another ordinary day.
Instead, it will be the day when Singaporeans declared in one voice:
"We will not go quietly into the night!
We will not vanish without a fight!
We're going to live on!
We're going to survive!"
Today, we fight for our rights to live as human beings and not LKY's digits.
Today we prepare to kick out LHL's Aristocrats.
ReplyDeleteElections is the only time when stupid people have the same rights as smart people.

Huuuuuuuuuuuuuoooouuuaaaaaaahaaa
High hope and high expectation by any opposition party will be extinguished on the morning of September 12 2015. PAP will win maybe 55 to 60 % of the votes but they will hold maybe 80% of the parliament seats. Nothing will change. If any Singaporean thinks that things will be different after this GE, he will be sadly disappointed. With the majority nodding heads in Parliament, all PAP policies will carry through and opposition will be fruitless.
ReplyDeleteSo, any Singaporean who expect changes after the coming GE, please do not expect too much. You will have to live with 6.9 million or maybe more. et used t it and maybe when it happens it will not hurt too much. The government says that FTs are here to help grow Singapore. That may be true to a certain extent. Opposition says that FTs are here to take away jobs from Singaporeans and also to lower salary. Singaporeans should be willing to upgrade their skill and maybe work harder to compete. Remember who told you about the spur and the thick hide of Singaporeans?
The next issue an opposition would like to see change is in the cost high of living here in Singapore. This is governed by world market forces. If you want high GDP then you must accept high cost of living in Singapore. These two things go hand in hand. Singapore has become one of the most expensive country but Singaporeans enjoy safety and good schools and top class medical facilities. If you want the best, then you must be willing to pay for them.
Singaporeans also want more checks and balance in Parliament. If you want this then make sure you vote for more alternative voices in Parliament. GE is the time to make sure of this.
Well, to all Singaporeans, vote wisely. Let hope for the best outcome.
911 is also the emergency phone number in many countries.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Singapore is entering into an emergency situation.......
It can turn very ugly
Deletetoo.
