  1. Perhaps the punishment is far to severe for crime. There is no need to kill a fly with a hammer, so the saying goes.

  2. All they are saying is that he punishment must be age appropriate.
Just like the outdoor treacherous mountain climbing at KK is it age appropriate.
Once the precedent is set it is the slippery slope of no return,
Thus the govt action and then perpetrator must be loudly condemned!!

  3. It is widely believed and percieved that there is much DURESS and EXCESSIVE PUNISHMENT on the Boy.
The International Communities and Organizations have to seek justice for the OUT OF PROPORTION TREATMENT ON AMOS YEE.

BEFORE THE FINAL PENALTY IS DECIDED, AMOS YEE HAD ALREADY SUFFERED MUCH MORE THAN HE DESERVES FOR THE SILLY MISTAKE OF PUBLISHING VULGARITY.

CNA reports, 'A doctor's report states that the teen blogger may suffer from autism-spectrum disorder. Pending a psychiatric report from the Institute of Mental Health, he may have to undergo mandatory treatment.'

  9. If psst political history is the norm, this is not surprising. How many political opponents have been destroyed financially, politcally and mentally by the PAP? Recent ones like Francis Seow, Tang Liang Hong and J.B. Jeyaaratnam springs to mind. In the same vein, Amos Yee will grow up to be another that will challenge the PAP and must be destroyed, by hook or by crook.

  10. The silence of the Singaporean sheep is deafening.
I think Amos Yee sacrifice himself fighting for "nothing".
Lucky I kept out of trouble when I was young. And survived long enough to realize Sinkies are not worth dying for.

    1. Bro, sixty percent of those who proclaimed as long as myself and my family are ok, why bother much of others!

As long as I am making fortunes now, why bother !
These misfortunes would not happen to me as long as I go along with the flow

Let others fight the battles on our behalf if there are injustices! Are there really injustices?!?

They forget that what can happen to others can also happen to them

  12. Dear Redbean, thank you very much for your sterling effort.

Amos is still in jail. Freedom is indivisible, and when one boy is enslaved, all are not free. We have to keep trying to open the eyes and hearts of the 60% minions in Singapore.
