Mysingaporenews Collection – Book launch update
30 copies snapped up in 3 days. I would need to have 300 copies to get this book off the ground unless I can find a sponsor to pay for the printing cost.
Some of the topics to be included in the book would be as follows:
1. CPF, your money or OPM
2. Medishield Life – paying for a life time
3. Population White Paper
4. Hong Lim Park Protest Rallies
5. Roy Ngerng and friends in Hong Lim Park
6. Plight of PMEs, taxi drivers
7. Education
8. Gems of Parliament
9. High cost of living
10. The flawed and dying stock market
11. Public housing, appreciating or depreciating asset?
12. Political development and change
13. Disappearing true blue Singaporeans
14. Whither Singapore
There will be many other hot topics that are dear to Singaporeans in the book. The crowdfunding will end by 31 Mar. I need more orders to make up the first 300 copies.
Thank you.
Redbean
Congratulations on the launch of your literary piece. Do keep an eye out for the interloper with man-boobs. He will try to upstage your effort and claim ownership.
ReplyDeleteIf every RB fan were to get a copy it would not be difficult to hit 300.
ReplyDeleteI take 3. Come on guys, don't keep RB waiting.
I would like to have one. How can I order one? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks jj2usg. Look at the column on top right of this blog.

ReplyDeleteI can easily take at least one thousand copies if you can talk something more positive about Singapore. Then I can give the books to schools for children's education. But in its present form I can't.
ReplyDeleteGo easy folks. We don't want Mr Bean to overdose on caffeine.
ReplyDeleteDick at 1.07pm sorry hor, book is R rated. Not for immature dorks like you.
ReplyDeleteR rated hor, will not sell. Can only sell to ti kor pek like you.
ReplyDeleteredbrean is 'R" rated.
ReplyDeleteMeaning it's real.
PAPig is "W" rated.
Wayang only.
Pretend Action Party.
The only thing that is real is my million dollar salary.
Rb, I suggest that should u be unable to secure 300 orders, u convert all the orders to digital copy and there is no printing cost or delivery cost. In fact there is no cost all all except your time organizing it and e mail to people who have placed an order rather than giving up. The digital version can even be updated in time to come and be sold as when people order rather than imposing some deadline. Tio Bo?
ReplyDeleteRegards,
Canornot
Hi Canornot,
ReplyDeleteThat could be a fall back position. Will see how this crowdfunding exercise go first.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Mr RB, after tomorrow night 12 million Toto draw, all sold out.
ReplyDeleteNo more orders as cannot cope with printing
Hi everyone,
ReplyDeleteMy overseas friends of this blog are doing their part by spreading the words of this book.
This is what crowdfunding is all about. Keep spreading the word around to get a wider reach. One book per person is good enough if the reach far and wide.
Many thanks.
Redbean.
As one who had suggested and urged Redbean to compile his blogs into hard copies, I shall hereby suggest that he makes the Book avaliable at Hong Kim Park Events; of course he must get whatever Permission needed.
ReplyDeleteThis will enable folks without bank account, like me to buy(the Book).
Personally, I will cherish to have a copy for keepsake. My Singapore News Blogspot has kept me attached to it for nearly a decade.
Though the Atheist me has religiously read every thread posted by Chin Leng and meet up with him, I will still like to have some copies for friends who do not access the internet or read blog.
Like to say that I have learnt much from Mr Chua Chin Leng and the many Commenters. I am especially impressed by use of simple and easy to understand English in the Write-ups. My educational level does not allow me to understand bombastic languages and I quite dislike having to check the Dictionary.
Best of all is that I share much of Redbean's readings of Worldly Affairs and that of Local Politics. Should I say it is very difficult to find one that devotes time to be concerned with the affairs of the Country and the Wellbeings of the People. Mr Chua Chin Leng is a patriot in my eyes. I have the Highest Respect and Regard for him.
May I implore Fellow Readers here to help in selling Comrade Chin Leng's Maiden Literature.

Thank you Patriot for your kind words and support.
ReplyDeleteYes, need to pass the book around, especially to those who don't read social media and to share with them a different perspective of what is the real Singapore, what is really happening to our beloved country before it is gone.
