ReplyDeleteCaveat: I'm not a cop, however I think I have enough sense to interpret the law, and I'm pretty sure I can evaluate a grammatically correct sentence.
In my non-professional, layman's opinion, no death threat has been made against you. Plus there's an emoticon smiley i.e. :-) , which suggests what was written was written not literally but tongue-in-cheek. This is the internet lah...the interpretation of what is written or said is wide open.
But like I said, I am not a cop. And everyone has a right to file a complaint at the cop shop. Ultimately the cops will decide who to arrest or question, and whether to hand the matter over to the courts for further action.
