Be Free at Last. Reincarnation and the 15th Dalai
Lama. The end of the Dalai Lamas,
announced by the current 14th Dalai Lama in an interview with German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, would usher the rebirth of Tibetan
Buddhism as it abandons its wrongful understanding of reincarnation and return
to original Buddhism roots to begin Tibetans on the long journey of
enlightenment towards the Truth.
Tibetans
would finally be completely free to create their own future through the
cultural transformation of the worldviews and mental paradigms which has locked
them in a timeless medieval prison of theocratic serf bondage for centuries
until the 1950’s. And with this change, ordinary Tibetans can prepare their
children for the crucial reforms, radical social reconstruction and education
towards a better, more modern future society with the rest of the world.
"Reincarnation”
is popularly, but wrongfully, understood to be the transmigration of a soul to
another body after death. Each successive Dalai Lama thus justifies his
continual entitlement as the spiritual and political Head of the Tibetans residing
in the posh and luxurious Potala Palace overlooking the world’s highest plateau.
There is no such
teaching as Tibetan “reincarnation” in Buddhism.

ReplyDeleteAs all spiritual philosophies and religions are bullshit, any purported "teachings" whether or not they appear in each particular case is also BULLSHIT.
Contrary to popular belief, and if you consider the "objective" case Faith IS NOT a virtue Faith is beief without evidence, which means pure and simple : gullibility.
I agree that it is better to believe a faith than to try to prove it with facts and human logics. Just be happy believing what you want to believe.

And you are right: if one is dumb enough/ mentally handicapped to take something on "faith", looking for "evidence" or trying your best to use "logic" means you don't really believe, and your faith is useless. (which is a good sign...a sign that you might be "grown up")

I do not know Mickey's logic. At the time of Buddha, there is no such thing as "Tibetan Buddhism". The Tibetan reincarnation theology is developed as early as 12th century.
There is reincarnation theology throughout entire Buddhism and this is what Tibetan Buddhism base their "Tulku" institution from.
Like it or not, there is no Dalai institution in Buddha time but there is not just Dalai institution, but reincarnate Panchan and Karmapa.
Mickey need to check his logic.
It is right that separation of religion and church is the future to human's well being. But many joker keep attacking Dalai Lama simply because he is a soft target.

One of the videos was shot in HK and about this snake restaurant serving all kinds of dishes of snakes including "cobra" .
Out of all snakes, "cobra" to many is the most "DETESTABLE" !

If you look at those Buddhist temples in Thalland or Myanmar you will find cobras adorning the roofs. A cobra was there to provide shelter to Buddha during a thunder storm.

And during the end days foolish emperors would appear and surrounded himself with fools, conmen, tricksters, traitors and people who would betrayed him. And the emperor could not see any of these and happily go about his rule and thinking they were the best talents and most trustworthy people to have around him.
What such a state is rich, it is like a ripe durian, it will just fall. All parties must come to an end.
