Another protest at Hong Lim tomorrow

We would like to inform that we will be having an event on Saturday, 5th July at Hong Lim Park from 4 to 7pm. Subject of the event is titled – “Is our Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong the right person to lead Singapore?”

For this event, we have invited 10 speakers from all walks of life to talk about the subject matter. As we know, the prime minister has recently launch a defamation suit against its own citizen, Mr Roy Ngerng. There are legitimate calls from certain sections of the community for our Prime Minister to step down from office.
Most of the speakers on that day will be ordinary Singaporeans who are either frustrated with the policies in place or are personally affected by it. Hence, the event will showcase arguments on whether the prime minister is the right person to lead the nation.

Link to the event page can be found in FB – https://www.facebook.com/events/657651847623510/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming&source=1....

We cannot allow a leader who has no competency and heart to lead the country. We cannot allow a leader who is devoid of compassion to continue and pile on miseries towards citizens any longer.
It’s time for him to step down from office and allow a true leader with the appropriate skills, knowledge, competency and foresight to take over and lead Singapore to the next era….
Hosted by William Lim and Osman Sulaiman.

The above is posted in TRE. I am not sure who is the organizer of this event. This is the first time that a protest is directed at a person, in this case the PM, Hsien Loong. The earlier protests were about issues and policies. Just wonder what kind of crowd it will draw.

  1. These speakers should all contest the next election under the opposition ticket.

That will be better and more convincing to the 60% than speaking at Hong Lim Park if they do not think PM Lee is the right person to lead Singapore.

  2. The irony is that only Teochew Ah Hia and his party can win in elections.

But Teochew Ah Hia publicly said PAP govt, and by extension PM lee, is competent.

And Teochew Ah Hia and his party MPs were never ever even seen in Hong Lim Park, let alone speak, tio bo?

Yet they were elected! And among those who will speak on July 5, spoken before and often, eg TKL aka Fatso 5% and Goh Meng Seng aka Madcow, either lost their deposits or lost the election.

So go Hong Lim Park or speak at Hong Lim Park got use or not, u tell me lah?

  3. Hainan Ah Ko also spoke in Hong Lim Park before, and lost, not once but twice, in elections!

Hope that with his new party Singaporean First, he will be 3rd time lucky!

Or else Singaporeans will not be first, or not even be in, let alone first! LOL

  4. Did u all notice that RB also never speak at Hong Lim Park?

Definitely not because he got nothing to say, tio bo? And even if not invited to speak, he can invite himself what.

So why RB did not want to speak? Because no kopi for speaking at Hong Lim Park? LOL

Q: How does PM Lee make love doggy style?

A: He sits up and begs. She rolls over and plays dead.

  6. It is fantastic that so many gullible fools are willing to waste a precious Saturday afternoon on a non-issue which by Monday will be all forgotten anyway.

Anyway, it's your lives. Since you've wasted most of it anyway on nonsense, what's wasting another Sat. afternoon? ;-)

    Got reality check?

  8. Annon 10:30, I am still upset with Haina Ah Kor for causing the lost of Tan CB at the last Presidential elections. He should assess who is the better candidate and make a gracious exit. We will respect him for that.

  9. Will Ah Loong round up all the attendees and sue them for defamation?

  11. Its not just him. But 60% people voted for his party and thus they are the real problem.

  12. The momentum is building up. They will be forced to use their bazooka eventually. Then what next? That will be the variable variable......... No feast continues forever. But to fall from the highest life to even a jailbird is unimaginable. Just ask Taiwanese ex-president Chen Sui Bian. Ex-French President Sarkozy could be on his trail soon if prosecutors gather sufficient evidence. Former CCP Central Politburo Standing Committee Member #9 most powerful security tzar Zhou Yong Kang could be next in line. Once out of power, anything can happen.

  13. How many sinkies dare go HLP for protest events?

They are even afraid of rocking the boat though some who never go into any battle said they are capable of one shot one kill. Shall we say one bomb drops into the tiny rock, all sinkies will pee in their pants.

As for Alternative parties, by themselves without the social political activists, they are as good as mannequins. Good to look at, but just that and not much to reckon upon. Most are there to seek a little glory to their existence.

Old man said before creative destruction.

    Now it is unfolding.

Old cells like cancer must be destroyed to make way for new cells.

Let there be creative destructions on epic scale.

  16. Pink Dot LBGT "fabulous" protest at Hong Lim 26,000.

"Return Our CPF" protest 3000-4000....ok lah, let's be generous 6000?!?

More people care about LBGT rights than fucking ponzi-tax-political scheme like CPF.

    CPF? A non-issue lah.

LBGT rights -- definitely an issue to many people -- both gay, trans, bi and straight -- because at the core of the "problem" is motherfucking RELIGION forcing its dogma into the laws of the state.

  18. You may not think much about this protest at Hong Lim Park but PAP and in particular PM Lee, take this protest very seriously. So serious that they have to come up with a telephone straw poll to find out PM Lee's standing. Read about it on TOC.

  19. @946:

Please lah tambi. Straw polls, online petitions etc are just bullshit. They don't accomplish anything.

The only thing which has measured effects in the REAL objective reality we live in is DIRECT PHYSICAL ACTION.

That's why Hong Lim is a complete and utter waste and burn of a valuable Saturday afternoon. Come Monday, still NO ACTION so NOTHING WILL CHANGE...by Tues...all is forgotten.

There is a reason you shitbags are called SHEEPLE -- it is because you are no-leadership motherfuckers, always following the herd (of sheep), where the crowd goes, you just blindly follow what they think -- you think, without critical evaluation.

    Got collective hive-mind? ;-)
