Tales of a vigorous people and less vigorous people

In the days of the four Asian Tigers referring to the economic success of South Korea, Taiwan, Hongkong and Singapore, their successes were attributed to having a more vigorous people, a population that was disciplined and with very hardworking ethic genes. It was this gene pool that made the difference between their success and the struggling economies of their neighbouring countries made up of less vigorous people.

Of the four tigers, three are still roaring away. One has outdone the rest by becoming the most vibrant and most expensive city in the world. The only odd thing is that the vigorous people are no longer vigorous anymore. And they have to import less vigorous people from neighbouring countries to sustain their economic growth. It is quite a strange biological phenomenon that the genes of a vigorous people can deteriorated to such a poor state in a generation. Could it be due to bastardisation with less vigorous people? I don’t think so. Bastardisation could bring out the best of the two sets of genes. Of course the recessive genes could become the dominant genes.

The only logical conclusion is that the neighbouring countries suddenly have turned vigorous. Their genes could be genetically modified, I supposed, to become more vigorous than the genes of the Sinkie pool. But if true this is also going to be another biological wonders. Gene pools do not make dramatic changes over a generation. They would evolve gradually with time. Also, the people of the neighbouring countries are still deemed to be less vigorous around the whole world except in Singapore. When competing with the Sinkie gene pool they are now regarded as better.

My conclusion is that it must be both, the degenerating of the Sinkie gene pool and the relative improvement in the neighbouring gene pool relative to the Sinkie gene pool that make the Sinkies less vigorous than them. And I think it would not be difficult to compile some empirical data to prove that this theory is true, that there is a strong case of a vigorous gene pool that turned bad in one generation.

The Sinkies are no longer a vigorous people, or at least they are less vigorous than the people of their neighbouring countries.

    >> It was this gene pool that made the difference between their success and the struggling economies of their neighbouring countries made up of less vigorous people.

Err, no. It's not caused by one single factor. Anyway no one has proven the role or the extent gene pools play in socio-economic success.

Are yew for real? We have very fucking smart scientists in Asia. "It would not be difficult" -- are you nuts? You have NO CLUE as to how really fucking difficult this is. Asian Face Palm

Firstly: no "hardworking genes" have been identified. Further more, how are yew going to sample? Dig up graves? What about those who have been cremated....

Redbean, fuck lah...Yew are hilarious when it comes to talking science. Please dun stop...

  7. Just go to Taiwan and see for yourselves. The taiwanese has become gracious. The young give way to the old willingly, in trains and buses and even food courts. No talking loudly or handphones in the trains.
It has become a better place.

  8. We could be just as good. Now when someone is rowdy in the train or littered everywhere, people will think it is done by a Sinkie. Most of the time they are right. Firstly they cannot see the difference. Two, many are new Sinkies.

  9. There are two types of doctors in this world. One type is very hungry and thus very rich. He thrives on repeated consultations by not curing his patients instantly, giving them the wrong medicine etc. Another type is very kind but not very hungry and thus not rich. He always attempts to cure his patients at the first visit. Humans must learn to choose their doctor carefully else the market will only end up with the very hungry type of doctors and it will be a very sad world.

I disagree. For me, I want my doctor to be rich, successful and happy. I definitely don't want a sourpuss, over-worked poor cunt making decisions that could help me live better and longer, or kill me in unimaginable suffering.

You'll find that the most expensive and successful doctors have the best reputations -- in general. Sure, there's the odd occasional case of a money-hungry idiot who is hopeless and dishonest. But that's the beauty of free-wheeling exchange of info: reputation is everything. Once you lose your professional reputation, yew're history, and yew don't get to earn "big money" in yur field anymore.

People canot wait to share their bad experiences. If a doctor fucks up, it will be public knowledge long before tomorrow's paper leaves the printing press.

    - you are so naive. you think the media here will report on botched surgeries, misdiagnosis, wrong prescription of medicines etc? do you think that if you are not rich and powerful they will not harvest your organs? do you still trust that under very hungry doctors, they will resort to honest means to treat you?

  12. @b

No. I dun trust any of that shit.

Just as cuntrees and borders are losing their significance in modern times, so are traditional main stream media operators. In the field of media now the "big boys" have to share their once-held oligarchy with the MILLIONS of bloggers and kay-poh / kwai lan smart phone users.

What I do trust is many people with camera phones, varying levels of kay-poh attitude, and their burning desire to post "exciting events" to social media, in order to "shame" people behaving badly.

Singaporeans are such whores for social media. Even their food, wah must take picture and show everyone. LUNATICS!!! So, these lunatics can be trusted, because they are KAY POH KIAS.

Nowadays not so easy to hide any more lah.

    - you are so naive. borderless world is a propaganda. the term is created to enable the able to penetrate into other market and to disable the disable ones even further more. it is easier to emigrate to oz, europe or canada forty years ago than now. their borders are as thick as great wall of china now.

    - you are so naive. only stuff such as food and entertainment do not get onslaught by the state controlled media. those serious heavy real stuff were being taken down immediately. so the media only left with those lunatics stuff and made half dim people like you go away thinking that sinkies are full of lunatics.

    >> ou are so naive. borderless world is a propaganda.

Err no. Before you start slinging words like "naive" around, you'd better check your facts. Like where did i use the word "borderless" to describe the world?

Perhaps you'd do well to take a remedial English reading class, because it is obvious the public edu system has failed you.

I make my living from the fact that sovereignty and borders are losing their significance. I am a profiteer and exploiter of such situations :-)
