Chok Tong - More good years

“I never felt that I’m an elderly person. When I go down to my constituency, I’m often helping many people who are younger than me. I still move around regularly in my constituency.” Chok Tong

I must agree that Chok Tong is looking younger and healthier by the days. Shall I say thanks to more bird nest soup and spring chicken ginseng broth? I must say that there are many more good years ahead of him with his good health. Maybe we can look forward to see Chok Tong in the thick of Singapore politics for many more years to come. And for those who are thinking that Marine Parade would miss his clout and Chuan Jin would have to face Nicole alone, maybe not. Maybe Chok Tong would still be there to lend his tall shoulder to Chuan Jin and his team and cast a towering shadow over little Nicole.

Would we be seeing a rematch and a showdown at Marine Parade with the same PAP team against a reinforced and stronger NSP team led by Nicole?

  2. I can't stand this fucker. As far as I'm concerned, he is a snake. I don't for one minute buy that fake smiling face of his.

  3. He is a Civil Servant after all. What the master wants, he executes. He is saying he is fitter because elections are coming and he wants to stay to enjoy his Swiss Standard of Living.

  4. LKY's greatest mistake was putting goh keng swee and friends on the shelf after just 20 over years of service. what a waste of limitless talent and experience! all because his snake of a wife advised him to do that, to make way for the ultimate destroyer of singapore, pinky loong. i was at a certain clinic in sgh yesterday. saw too many young south asian doctors following about our senior sinkie doctor specialists. from the way they project themselves (or lack of it) i really have no confidence in these south asian doctors. can't understand a word they said. where are our young sinkie doctors?!!! score straight As also cannot get into NUS medical school. yet they import foreign rubbish to be our doctors.

  6. don't get me wrong. i'm not against indian doctors. s'pore has had great indian doctors and professors of medicine. most of them i believe are or were ceylonese tamils, and malayalees, etc. these were born and bred singaporeans. real solid doctors and very well respected. i just have no confidence in the brand new stock from india. they really look sloppy and behaved in a sloppy manner.

  8. Swiss trains come on time, on the dot. i remember when i was in switzerland many years ago, there was a carriage or two in every train where one can smoke. and the passengers were smoking pipes and small cigars. you walk down the carriage and can smell different types of sweet smelling aromatic tobaccos. real class! don't know whether now still got or not. this is what i call swiss standard.

    I was in Canada.
In Edmonton where the average winter temperature is minus 20 Celsius.
The public buses there follow a time table.
Where the time of the bus arrival is clearly spelt out for every bus stop.

We can't even do that for our MRT trains
So never mind about our buses.
Singapore a 1st world country my arse.

  11. I stay in Marine Parade since 1974 till now, don't really feel much much benefit from his presence. Mum always complains to me, that foodstuff at the fresh market and hawker center are much more expensive than elsewhere, even at places around Parkway Parade. Maybe those people selling things there love him a lot because he doesn't bother to check how ridiculous the prices of things are as compared to other places.

    RB 3:00 pm

    Tiok.

Among those in PAP, Chok Tong is the best one to trust.

Among the opposition, Teochew Ah Hia is the best one to rust.

In the kingdom of the blind, the one eye jack is the best one to trust to be King.

Among the bloggers, RB is the best one to buy kopi for.

  20. Out of so many Sinkies, how come cannot find a better Sinkie than Chok Tong or Teochew Ah Hia to trust?

    How come?

No wonder Sinkies deserved to be replaced by better foreigners!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why would a better Sinkie want to be in Chok Tong or Ah Hia's position for Sinkies to trust, u tell me lah?

  22. 'Chok Tong is looking younger and healthier by the days.'

    - of course he is looking better cos he is very well paid for doing practically nothing. He even have a very well paid pension on top of his minister pay. He also have a lot of other incomes growing exponentially from the growth in foreigner population. His several luxury mansions all over the world are all paid by cash upfront. All is made possible because sinkies blindly voted for him and he is never thankful for that. Instead, he came up with policies to fix the people until most of them have to get out.

  23. Got bluff or not, several luxury mansions all over the world.

  24. Of course, getting paid doing nothing but talking cock, anyone can say he still moves around regularly to justify his allowance. He is only one step better than another older parasite.

  27. @RB:

    >> If not woody who else can you trust?

Lee Kuan Yew. Hands down, one of the most trustworthy world leaders in all of history. He means what he says. He acts and delivers. He couldn't care less whether you like his choices or not.

It's got nothing to do with personal like or dislike of the man, neither do you have to agree with any of his policies or his weltanschauung or his methods of governance. But this guy, does not fuck around. The guy's like a fearless gangster, and that makes him dangerous to anyone who would dare to get in between him and his objectives.

Lee Kuan Yew's method of governance:

"This is what is going to happen. If you don't like it, FUCK YOU! Get in my way and I'll make an example out of you and ensure that you pay a heavy price." This is one fella that has consistently made his actions speak louder than his already loud and direct words.

You know something? It works!. Yes, detractors and wishful thinkers, it still works -- even when he's 90 yrs old and fading.

  28. If you don't respect him, you better fear him. No corruption without having to pay corruption money upfront.

In most other countries, he would have been done in the last GE but for our unique brand of polling system

  30. So many dumbfucks like to quote LKY saying this, 'We decide what is right. Never mind what the people think.'

The thing is that when he said it, in many instances he was right. Deaf frogs who keeps getting things wrong better stop quoting him.
