Anton Casey, Paradise found and lost

Anton Casey was invited into paradise, got a high paying job waiting for him by a big bank. His income was so good that he could live in top end condominium that cost a bomb and a flashy sports car that cost half a million to go with it. He was living it up, mixing with the elite and moving in the right circle of the who’s who in the island paradise. He was rewarded further with a local native beauty queen as his wife. And she gave him a beautiful son.

Life was a bliss like living in paradise on earth. Hardship and poverty were words that he could not see or hear in his high living of beautiful people and flashy material comfort that are dreams to many of the natives. His first encounter with the poor natives came when his car was sent for servicing. He took the train with his son, a transport mode that the locals are very proud of as they could not afford the cars that are priced the highest in the world. To own a car, one has to buy a certificate that cost more than the price of a medium size car. Anton was uncomfortable with the poverty around him in the train. It was a different and unfamiliar environment. He went home and wrote in his facebook about the need to get rid of the stench that stuck on him from the train.

Someone found it amusing to forward what he wrote and it went viral. The natives were not amused. They were angry for the first time against a foreigner that came to take their good paying jobs and their beautiful women and instead of being grateful for the good fortune and blessing, he literally shitted on their face. It created a violent tropical storm never seen before in his life. He quickly apologized but was a bit too late and too little. The natives are calling for his blood.

Anton Casey’s paradise collapsed overnight and went into hiding with his beautiful wife and son. His company is investigating the incident and under pressure to remove him. The govt is not amused either and also under pressure to cancel his employment pass. Not sure if his local native clients are happy with his remarks and would continue to do business with him. Not should if the anger of the natives will spread to affect the whole high living foreign community.

This is a case of paradise found and lost. In two years’ time I may be writing about paradise inherited and lost. The cause for losing it would be quite similar, snubbing the citizens, selling out the citizens and offering their paradise to foreigners. At the moment this is only the outline of the plot but with signs that it will happen in 2016. Just wondering would this story become a reality then.

  6. I don't think Sinkies are his clients lah.

So his rice bowl does not depend on Sinkies anyway.

But then, even his foreign talent boss also don't like it. That's why he is really in trouble now, and not because of Sinkies.

Sinkies doesn't really matter lah, if not why Sinkies are treated the way PAP has treated them?

  7. Anton should be decorated with the next National Day award. Afterall, he's only doing what the politicians are doing - blaming locals and denigrating locals.

    Daft

    Spur on your behind

Get out of my elite uncaring face

How much do you want? You want meals in hawker centre, food court or restaurant

Locals are too complacent because Mas Selamat escaped.

  10. gongkia - I may be poor, but I am not smelly. The stench comes from Anton's orifices - both ends of his alimentary canal.

Bernice Wong is many things but she is not a 'beautiful woman'... never mind if she had won the Miss Singapore Universe pageant.

The ang mohs really have a thing for the more... exotic-looking, shall we say... Asian women. If you want further proof look no further than Thailand, specifically Hatyai and the northeast Isaan region.

    Well, whatever makes them happy.

  12. Yep, it's very true that Singapore is now a place for the rich and most of us are poor and have no choice but to take public transport because of the sky high COE and cost of owning a car.

Find it ironic that a wealthy person like him can easily hired a car or take a taxi rather than the mrt. With his status, he should also be marrying a tycoon's daughter instead of a poor Singaporean.

    1. bro, car, maybe also company's rental one or his own rental or on hire purchase on repairs/servicing, had to take mrt.

This already clearly shown how poor he is lah!!

      No need to say further.

  13. Funny leh.
Why do i feel that Anton Crazy's
    experience and jibe(gibe) at the
    Local Sinkies was mild compared
to those sniffed at them from their
    own leaders.
Is daft less offensive than poor?
Is sarcasm of a meal in restaurant
    for those who need financial
    assistance palatable?

Sinkies must know and be aware
that fts are like monkeys see and
    monkeys do. They merely ape
    what the Locals practise.

In a casual coffee chat, one Sinkie
said that old folks who are not
    economically productive should
just make their exits from Earth and
not surprisingly, he had much agree-
ment from some others. Somehow, i
have this feeling that Matilah Singapura will agree with him too.

  14. Aiyah, Anton cracked a few very bad-taste jokes lah.

At the end of the day, they are just JOKES -- poorly constructed and not even funny, but they are still JOKES.

Can't asshole Singaporeans take a joke or two?

    Apparently not.

    Lighten up lah, Singapore

  15. In the Straits times today, a kindness guru asked where has all our empathy gone? He is referring to sinkie fondness for foreign bashing at the slight excuse.
He talked about the deeds of Amy Cheong and Anton Casy and a few others.
He think we have gone overboard in chastising some social media users for poor choice of words. He urged more empathy inplace of anger.
    What do you think?

  16. He needs to be farked. Where was he when some kindness needs to be shown to the student that was charged in court by SMRT for charging her handphone in a train platform?

See angmoh only quickly want to show kindness. Asshole.

    What the fuck ?!
How about some empathy for our poor and elderly working as cleaners for peanuts salary?

How about some empathy for Singaporeans living in tent cities waiting for hospital beds at Changi General Hospital?

How about empathy for our NS boys risking their lives for 2 years working for peanuts?

How about empathy for our middle-aged PMETs getting sacked and retrenched?

If no quarter is given to us, no quarter will be offered in return.

    [The young and the restless]

"Youths are starting to stir and could, in the long term,
change society, politics and the way Singaporeans do things.

    But more important,
it could result in a more committed citizenry and a civic-mindedness that the government has failed to produce.

But there will be an occasional side effect, too, with things becoming a little chaotic –
but Singaporeans are rational enough to put things right."

Some conmen will try to tell the Sinkies that their lives are getting better and this is progress. The more GDP growth, the smaller homes they will have, and surer it will be for them to own bicycles instead of cars, and not enough money or no money for retirement.

And they will visit govt hospitals to be treated by doctors from 3rd World countries with questionable credentials.
