This is what a train in Pakistan looks like. And it is what our SMRT train can aspire to be in the future. It speaks volumes about full capacity, profitability, discipline, tolerance, ingenuity, integration and quality of life.
Now
who said Singapore can support a population of 6.9m in 2030? Don't
believe in that fool. He does not know what he is talking about. And who
is the other fool who said Singapore can support a population of 8m!
Another foolish thought.
Look
at the photo carefully, Singapore can easily take in 20m if we are
willing to live happily and closely together in harmony. And no need to
worry about body odour. Our nose would be desensitised by constant
exposure to people compressed together.
And the shareholders of SMRT will be the happiest people, all laughing to the bank. Quick, load up on SMRT shares.

What has this got to do with overloading?
ReplyDeleteWhat has this got to do with overloading?
ReplyDeleteThe casinos need to have many customers tiok boh?
Sinkies salaries are not enough to support our 2 casinos tiok boh?
So have to get more overseas visitors to our casinos tiok boh?
More overseas visitors = more overcrowding tiok boh?
Besides overcrowding, there may be other issues from too many people tiok boh?
Beyond the Obvious
MIWs got take in Pakistanis, meh? They only take the high caste Hindus from India. You should use picture of Indian train, RB.
ReplyDeleteThe only way to escape overloading is to migrate to a less crowded place.
ReplyDeleteShare with you this. Railway gauge is standard at 1.435m / 4 ft 8.5 in; but India uses broad gauge of 2.134m / 7 ft. That is why their trains can 'tahan' the overload and overroof passengers.
ReplyDeleteIt's breathtaking how some of the people commenting didn't get the point of your post. It is a sad indictment of the world class reading and writing teaching methods in your city state.
