Many of these foreigners are here because they either could
not help in anyway to make their countries better than Singapore, their
countries could not offer them a better paying job, could not offer them a
better quality living, and are here because we have done it and offering them
something better that they would never dream of at home.
Yes, Singaporeans turned this little swamp into a little
paradise. It is not a fantasy. The truth is that the foreigners are turning it
into a slum, with all their dirty habits, and if nothing is being done to curb
their influx, this island will become more like their home countries. It is a
great insult to say that Singapore
will become a slum if the jobs are filled by Singaporeans.
I will like to offer a challenge to the foreigners to go
back and turn their third world countries to what Singapore
is today, then I will respect their abilities and talents.
Now who is this idiot Sg_Boleh to insult Singaporeans that
we are incapable of running our own country, from Third World
to First World? We are now First World,
and only now that we are bringing them in to take advantage of us in swarms,
like locusts. Singapore
will continue to prosper without them. And should the foreigners return to their
home countries, their home countries would still be the third world slums they
are and will not be able to catch up with Singapore
for the several decades to come.
RB, you are half correct, singapore was built by both Singaporean and the older generation of Malaysian Chinese. I remember when I was here in the 70s more than half of the professional jobs were Heid by Malaysians. We are of course all Singaporeans now unlike the more recent Malaysians who hold on to their citizenship. But then with the current situation, can you blame them? It will be sheer stupidity for them to convert unlike us then
ReplyDeleteWho sink our roots here with all our kids serving ns.
You are right. There is this understanding that we don't really regard the Malaysians as different from us then and even now. But the distinction will only get worst in the course of the new developements when foreigners become a majority here.
ReplyDeleteRB, then EDB, JTC and PUB some engineering department 80% were Malaysian Chinese then.
ReplyDeleteIs it more correct to say that Singapore will become a slum within a decade if the Pro Alien Traitors are allowed to form the government in GE 2016?
ReplyDeleteWith the prevalence of such Turd Whirled Mentality in great abundance, you can consider Singapore a slum...a happening, hi tech, modern, clean and green slum, but due to the collective consciousness a slum nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteWorld's richest slum, run by the world's richest slumlords.
Slumdog millionaires!
Tell that 'slum dog blogger' that Hougang too was supposed to become a slum when the WP took over.
ReplyDeleteMore than two decades later, Hougang is still not yet a slum. Rubbish did not pile up to the third storey as another stupid guy commented decades ago.
So, never take at face value the fearmongering. Singapore will still be as it is and it will not sink without the PAP.
Went to Hainan Island and a young PRC just out from KFC outlet with his take away coleslaw in one hand and the cover with the other just tossed the cover towards just a foot away. The poor cleaner is also just two feet away busy sweeping after him
ReplyDeleteSweepers in PRC must have ready a hard time doing their jobs.
At fitness court near car park about 5.30 in the morning. Those Pinoy performing artists just back from Duxton and kampong bahru passing by just simply vomited onto your legs after too much drinks and laba laba from their clients.
Happened to stay on the sixth floor with tress near our windows. The trees are decorated with Christmas trimmings of KFC/McDonald's take away cups, containers etc ad thrown down from these trashes renting the flats from our Singaporean landlords who themselves are staying in their condos and landed houses.
Soon, soon very soon Singapore gonna be a slum soon
Now 5.3 millions later 6.9 millions
Half of Singapore are foreigners when it gain independence.
ReplyDeleteMany Malaysian chinese then decide to stick with us are consider our own people, this extend to other nationalities too.
However time changed since then, those who come in late 90s, 2000s
although share many similarities with us are now competition with us for jobs and housing.
Our future depend on whether we can stick together and remain competitive.
sg_boleh is just another one of those PAP IBs sent to counter negative sentiments online.

ReplyDeletesinky is a slum-to-be already when pap took over - every working class eventually ended up in temporary housing and public transport.
ReplyDeletedunno if this is ot ?
ReplyDeletehttp://www.zcommunications.org/manufacturing-failed-states-by-edward-s-herman
