Chee Soon Juan the new Zhuge Liang
Chee Soon Juan said he knew that his proposal would be rebuffed by the WP. And he sent his proposals to the WP three times and was rebuffed three times. This was similar to Liu Bei visiting Zhuge Liang three times in order to show his sincerity. Liu Bei’s sincerity was accepted and Zhuge Liang went on to serve him. In Chee’s case, the WP did not accept him.
The brilliance of Chee is shown in this instance in that he knew well in advance that he would be rebuffed. I think not many people are so talented to know of the future, of an act and its consequences. ‘We knew all along…’ So why would he go on and on to send the proposals to WP? To show his sincerity not to the WP but to the voters that he had tried and was sincere to want to negotiate with the WP in a win-win-win situation? One thing for sure, to the WP, his proposal was a lose-lose-lose all the way. I think this part Chee did not know.
Now maybe Chee could tell us if he knows what would be the result should the SDP contest this by election. He must know too, I think. And since he is going to send in the SDP candidate, very likely he would have known that the SDP would win. Otherwise there is no point wasting so much time and effort, and maybe even losing the deposit.
Is the SDP’s plan to contest this election a win-win-win-win-win for all the candidates?
whenever i look at chee soon juan, i'm reminded of victor khoo's puppet charlie. csj resembles charlie. i do hope csj is just a loose cannon and not the pappie's puppet.
ReplyDeleteFrankly speaking, I think people like CJ and Kenneth Jeya are poor to be politician. What is the point of contesting when you will benefit the PAP and end up most likely losing your deposit. Seems that they dislike the WP more than the PAP which reflect their shallow mindedness at this stage.I can understand their wariness that WP is gaining in strength but at this critical juncture, a seat taken away from the PAP is the best way to apply pressure on the ruling party whereas all other talks and ideas are empty in reality.

Any idiot except CSJ would know - maybe he sincerely though it was a win-win-win situation. A win for SDP, a win for CSJ and a win for whichever candidate SDP sends.
How about CSJ and I both buy that $2 million 4,349sf EC penthouse. CSJ alone pay that $2 million, I stay in the master-bedroom, and he stays in the store-room and do all the house work. Fair compromise, right?

All the years I have thought that he his not a strategist. His rashness in usurping SDP from CST, his encounter with GCT and the govt showed his shallowness.
A leader with no knowledge of applying strategy will only leads his followers to doom and having a doctorate does make him a smart man in his case.
You should give this Zhuge Liang title to LTK instead. The "wily fox" being the success of WP.
Perhaps Punggol East maybe the Waterloo for SDP and Reform Party
when voters think they are just opportunists and nothing more.
I always maintain that By-Election is not a playground for all opposition parties. If oppositions are sincere to serve the residents there, only one party should contest. Period.

LOSE-LOSE-LOSE-LOSE-etc in any way for him and his party
LOSE - cause WP to lose by election, let PAP win.
LOSE - Lose all the goodwill, reputation, branding that SDP doing all along
LOSE - Lose respect from former SDP voter like me, will no longer attend their election rally nor show support for SDP but still vote SDP nonetheless to show displease over PAP.
LOSE - lose deposit in by-election. Supporter's money goes down in drain for nothing into PAP govt, and it does not even make sense
LOSE - Lose face for Dr Chee, but think again, does Dr Chee even have a face ? Oh Yes, a LOSER'S FACE.
LOSE - Dr Chee is not only Loser but a LOOSE CANNON, that will blow and screw everything good that the party has done so far on the ground that the party become a laughing stock in coming election.
LOSE - How the hell those talents that join Dr Chee isn't stop his crazy act is beyond understanding. Could those talents be as daft and comical as Dr Chee ?

ReplyDeleteyou know that PAP moles or agents does not even need to explicitly work for PAP, they will just be considered one if they are the instrument used by PAP to promote its interest and obtain predicted outcome to PAP's advantages.

ReplyDeleteHey, need to keep up with time. That time has no internet and so this act did not go widespread, hence Liu did not get laugh at since only a few people knew about that during his time.
BUT in internet era, the whole damn world know about Dr Chee's comical and circus act immediately. Immediately kena condemned already, and now wiggle his way out to save his face with more nonsense.

The real ZhuGe Liang will always selectively choose the battle to fight with highest chance of winning.
The fake Zhuge Liang will always fight any losing battle because he don't know what the fuck is going on and he don't care. Not his money, not his business, not he die, only his interest come first.

In any case, SDP has just announced that it will not contest in Punggol. Good decision by CSJ.

I think CSJ and KJ are suffering from lack of attention by their parents so they tried to get a lot of attention from the people. They cannot keep cool and think straight when there are changes in settings. They should quit politics. Maybe writing books or blogs will be more suitable for them.

He appear to be another double-head snake like old fart, though it remains to be seen whose fart is smellier, his fart or old fart.

ReplyDeleteAnd most importantly, it ensure that Punggol unlikely to fall under GRC. If punggol under PAP, cuckoo only can see that it can fall under GRC because PAP is all about YES-MAN, and their MPs is YES to what their master dish out.
bearing in mind in this by-election, the PAP does not need to smear the opp party, but instead praise them high enough to feed their ego into going to multiple corner fights. PAP is capitalizing on the ego of opp party to win this by-election.
