As we greeted the new year 2013, we leave behind a year of
notoriety, a year of great revelation, a year of shocking realities, a year
that is best summed up by George Yeo’s famous comment, ‘Everything looks so
perfect from the outside, but it is not real’. I can’t remember his exact
words, but this is the gist of what he said during an interview in his private
capacity as an ordinary citizen with the highsight of being in the govt in the
year 2012.
Many things have been unveiled, more skeletons are coming
out of the cupboards, many red faces for sure. Do not be misled by perfection.
When everything looks so fine, so perfect, that is only a veneer of deception.
2013 is going to be more explosive than 2012 for sure. Sit
back and relax and watch the events unfold. The truth is greater than fiction.
Happy new year, redbeans!
ReplyDeleteHi readbeans, thanks for keeping us informed, excited! and entertained with your blogs.I hope your New Year will not be explosive one as you predicted this year to be. Rather I wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMany red faces? Do not bet on that. They will argue until they turn blue in the face and still insist wrong is right and two wrongs will make a right.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, Happy New Year to all!
Mr Bean and all,
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year
As said, those were the tips of iceberg. More to come. Happy 2013
ReplyDeleteThe exact quote is:
ReplyDelete“In the old days you're protected by ritual, by hypocrisy, sometimes by ignorance.
Today it's no longer possible. If a picture is too perfect, you know it can't be real.”
