Child snatching is here

PRC couple attempts to abduct local children in Ang Mo Kio Hub
inSing.com, 21 Mar 2012

A woman has complained on the internet that a Chinese national couple tried to abduct her child at Ang Mo Kio Hub.
Ms 'Allison Goon' shared her experience on her Facebook page, explaining that she was at the AMK Hub Fiesta on Sunday (18 Mar).
She had just fed her son and walked away to throw some rubbish when she turned back and found another woman taking her son away by his hand.
She shouted after her son and asked the woman why she was holding her son's hand.
The woman, who spoke with a China accent, replied that she had "the wrong child", then walked away with another man while pretending that nothing had happened.

All Singaporeans must raise this alarm to alert the daft to be more aware of the dangers around them. Child snatching is common in China and it is coming. Be aware and be very careful with your children. The public and the police must be more alert to prevent such incidents from happening.

Spread the word around. Better be safe than be sorry.

  1. Moral of the story.
Those who make baby must carry the baby with her everywhere.

I am crazy for babies.I like to hold babies so long as they are left unattended.Your Garmen fail to allow me to marry more wives here so I cannot have many babies. But carrying babies is my only hobby besides beoing Swee Char Bor.

Are you going to say I snatch baby if I just help to hold him for a few second just to satisfy my urge?

  2. Yes,just be careful.Kidnapping is common in China and if you don't pay up the ransom, they may just kill your child and dump it in the rubbish chute or drain.
Schools must take extra security measures to ensure their students are securely handed back to the parents at the end of each school day.
We must treasure our scarce assets as Singapore parents were already scare stiff to produce children.

  3. This type of crime is very painful, targetting on children and the parental love.

Must chop off their hands and legs if caught.

  5. A couple of weeks ago, the HK news reported that a primary school in HK made a police reported when 3 of its students were approached by strangers after school. The authorities took a very serious view on this matter and the CID was called in to investigate to indentify these strangers.

Girls are said to be worth about 10,000 yuan while boys ranges from 20,000 to 30,000 yuan.

  6. Hi Achtung, welcome to the blog.

This kind of crimes should take priority over white elephant crimes. One child or one family suffering from such a case is one case too many.

Cases like graffiti etc can be put aside. The suspect couple must be called up with their ic and photos taken and closely monitored. They must not be lost without trace. They could be the first link.

  7. I hope the police would report this in the news and warn all parents to be careful about such things that might happen here.

  8. Uncle
How can the police keep reminding people every now and then.I doubt the report had been made.
Its the press responsibility to announce such case if its true.Nothing shameful to report if the country is not safe.
Its not that they had not reported cases base on hearsay before.

  9. Hi agongkia, this is reported in official internet portals and Seng Han Tong was quoted to be showing concern and looking into the matter.

It is not a matter of embarrassment but to take preventive measures to avoid pain and agony on the victims. Also to blow the trumpet to tell the criminals we are watching.

  13. This is not about being alarm or raising alarm. This is a very serious matter. If there is a need to warn people of snatch thief, bicycle thief, losing some money is nothing compare to losing a child.

Sinkies are too used to our old way of life, too safe and secure. We leave out money, bags everywhere. We let our children run around. But out there the darkside is growing bigger and bigger.

There is a new reality. Things are not the same any more.
