Whenever I hit the forum I will end up at some used car site or something else. Don't seem to be able to get in. Anyone able to get in? Something fishy eh?
TR posted a comment on their Facebook fan page that this happens when you are accessing it from singapore or not via VPN. Just a suggestion: check out turbohide
It appears that some Singtel users are having problems accessing TR which may be caused by a DNS issue. Please access via a proxy http://www.turbohide.com/.
TR's domain name is on auto-renewal and it is not hijacked by anybody. Its technical team is now working on the problem.
TR will not be closing down and an official announcement will be made later on its future plans in the years ahead. Free Proxy Server :: TurboHide www.turbohide.com TurboHide is 100% free proxy server. .
The despots are making a futile attempt to silence dissent before the PE. Expect to see DDOS attacks and more of such low ball tactics. Full access likely will be restored when PE is over.
The more 'they' try and stop people accessing alternative voice, the more urgent Singaporeans should vote out this ruling party and restore true democracy and equality. The more 'they' do the more people will get anger. There is no stop in change these days. be prepared for change in GE2016. Daft Singaporeans must wake up by then. Ask what accountability, transparency, justice and equality this government has given and is giving to its people. Leopard will never change its spots. Well said.
Same here. I am a SingNet user. I have encountered this problem since last night. It brings me to a site with URL of "http://www2.searchresultsdirect.com/parking.php4?domain=temasekreview.com......"
Changing your DNS server to Google’s: 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4
Open up Control Panel –> Network and Sharing Center You’ll see “View your active networks”: Click on the entry at “Connections:”
A pop-up with your internet info will come up. Click on Properties (next to “Disable” and “Diagnose” buttons). Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”, then click on “Properties” button just below.
A menu will pop up and you can see a section below “Use the following DNS server addresse”. Type in 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 for “Preferred DNS server:”, then press “OK”, “Close”, “Close”

I suppose because of the upcoming PE. "Whoever mean" is afraid of TRE's exposure.
I did not try to access TR so I can't tell you.
ReplyDeleteBut last time I experience what you experience now when I try to access your site MSM.
Use a anonymous proxy like:
ReplyDeletewww.anonymouse.org
Singapore is becoming like Myanmar.
from TRE's facebook page:
