'Good govt needn't fear a by election' Redbean
There is no need for a by election at Bukit Batok. The people would not want it. They would prefer the govt to spend time working on the economy and more handouts to help them in such difficult times.
I spoke to so many people, all 3 of them said no need for by election.
LOL! New definition: many = 3
ReplyDeleteRedbean, you sounded like the old media spinning.
ReplyDeleteold media becomes new media. new media becomes old media.
ReplyDeleteit is nice to be able to do a little spinning : ) after all our heads are quite groggy after so many years of spinning.
Holding a by election in Bukit Timah GRC to get replacement for the late Dr Ong Chit Chung is a waste of time and taxpayer's money.
ReplyDeleteAs long as the current team can still deliver the goods, why the need for a replacement?
To mockingbord:

You mean goods like more ERPs, more GST, more saleries for the ministers, more public transport hikes, more walkovers, more Mas Selemat escape, more Wong Kan Seng refusing to take responsibility, more elderly cleaning toilets and picking cardboards and cans for the dignity of emploment?
Goods like these?
i may agree that in this case a by election may not be needed. but would the residents be short changed without a full time MP serving them? it is hell of a difference with a full time MP they know and can relate to than changing face MPs that come and go.
ReplyDeletewhatever, the reasons given in parliament for not holding a by election were craps.
They govern by warp logic, you live by warp logic.
