When you invite wolves into your home
The last few weeks we have heard the foreign talents calling us silly and shallow, even printed in the main stream media for every Singaporean to read.
Now they are even beating up Singaporeans in our own country. If things are not put into proper perspective and the foreigners made to know that they are here as guest workers, by our grace and generosity, tomorrow Singaporeans may fear for their own safety walking in our streets.
Just watch these two clips.

That mama sounds more like a Singaporean because he uses a mixed of malay and hokkien (chiby)

nowaday, this is common in sg.i've been driving taxi for 15 yrs, many of such case went unreported, ask any taxi'uncle they can share wit u.(or u may ask some one that related to u so that you know how true the story).Even some of the LTA personal, police off. knew of such incident....merry christmas..
ReplyDeleteThe world is getting to be a pretty unfriendly place. Grace and courtesy and compassion are sadly lacking in our society.
ReplyDeleteIt is Christmas, lets be friends.
here, you'll surely lose your livelyhood if you took the challenge to a fight. if you dont, the police will not intervene as theres no injury inflicted. so, you lanlan receive the blows of vulgarities watched by all the passengers, and more, like this case, kenah vid. everyone know you kenah oredi.
ReplyDeleteThe indian sounds more local than FT.
ReplyDeleteHis choice of expletives (hokkien) (KNNBCCB) and the fact that his said "when i was young...never was like this", sounds so much Singaporean.
They were local indians. even the ones from Malaysia don't speak that way.
ReplyDeleteredbean, you seem to be losing it a little.
I loved your myths, but the last two posts is quite strange.
we are not sure whether they are locals or fts. learning vulgarities is the easiest thing to do. the second one is definitely ft. the first one may be doubtful. but look at his dressing, locals don't wear so shabbily. his dressing is from the rural style. our locals all dressed much better.
ReplyDeleteeven his style and features don't look local. local has some distinct big city look. that one definitely did not have that look.
but whether they are locals or foreigners, hope the police will pick them up. we cannot let this kind of things happen in broad daylight if we are to keep the peace.
You're full of shit la Redbean. How many mistakes you wanna make? U really are losing it.
ReplyDeleteif i made mistakes i will blame it on too much alcohol. so don't blame me. ; )
ReplyDeletethen i may not make any mistake also. it is good to be non committal. but the message is the same. this is my country and home. and it is my right to be a little selfish. treat the foreigners well as our guests. but when they cross the line to take advantage of our hospitality, use the big stick.
there must always be a line between foreigners and citizens. when the party is going, everyone can have a good time. when the party is over, it must always be citizens first.

Eventually, thank you for responding and admitting that you are the "real ass-hole". I thought this is another inconsiderate person. The next time I read your comment, I will say "There you go, the same ass-hole again". By reading my reply, everyone here know that you're the "REAL ASS-HOLE". Thank you again for responding.

Arguing on the Internet is like running in the Special Olypics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.
ReplyDeletediscussing and arguing over issues, whether in the internet or among friends, should not be for the sake of winning an argument.
ReplyDeleteit is to share and exchange ideas and to look at different people's perspectives. what is right or good to a person may not be so to another.
this is the real world, not that of school boys and debates. in debates you just argue to win. in the real world, you may win an argument but lost all your support, and can also be very wrong.

I agree with what Redbean said....

I am here not to win, all along with your comments, you're trying to put Redbean to shame. Oh boy, when are you growing up!
By reading this blog, one gains knowledge and exposure by exchanging infos. but instead you're blasting at Redbean.
If you're not the same person, my apologies.
