The Third Generation upstarts and thereafter take it easy and squander and eventually destroy the family's wealth and business.
It is the same with countries. Singapore was blessed with first class First Generation leaders whose intelligence and wisdom was second to none. They really worked very hard and strived with great sacrifice to build Singapore to what it is today, a brilliant jewel in South East Asia and the envy of the world. Singaporeans have very much to thank First Generation stalwarts like Lee Kuan Yew, Dr. Goh Keng Swee, Dr. Toh Chin Chye, Hon Sui Sen, Lim Kim San, Rajaratnam, E.W. Barker, Ong Pang Boon, President Yusof Ishak and first class exceptional intelligent and wise civil servants like Giam Tong Dow, Chan Chin Bock, Lee Ek Tiang, Philip Yeo and so on.
The Second Generation leaders lacked the quality of the First Generation pioneer leaders but still passable as they strived to maintain the achievements of the pioneer leaders.
But the thaw in quality in wisdom and intelligence can be seen openly in the Third Generation leaders.
But when it comes to Fourth Generation leaders, the people shake their heads in disbeliefs as they are seen to be lacking in all qualities demanding of good leadership and are seen to be performing their duties perceptively and perfunctorily only inspite of million dollars salary.
The people of Singapore are now clamoring for the return of our Fiirst Generation leaders like Lee Kuan Yew, Dr. Goh Keng Swee, Hon Sui Sen, Lim Kim San, Rajaratnam, E.W Barker and so on. Though impossible but at least pray for their spiritual guidance to guide the upstart leaders to do the right things. Otherwise Singpore's survival will face a dangerous future.

Singaporeans are already praying for LKY to return to put things right. But the seventh ghost month already passed by and still no indication of that happening, lol. Let us stop kidding ourselves.

Successors ars supposed to be wiser and even more capable with their predecessors as they are been groomed and had better education and all opportunities and yet they turned our to be DUDs
As LKY once said once you are not hungry any more and no threats of survivals you shall become complacent and soft
Those who had undergone such Dire circumstances and hardships are streets smart and gung ho with even daring to put their lives on their beliefs
Once became soft and easy that's be the downfall
These self righteous Leaders thought they are First Class Elites must be compensated with what's their imaginary nonsense that if they did not sacrificed to be in Government with mundane rewards and being at the Private Sectors they be multi millionaires or billionaires with their talents
In the Private Sectors they thinks they could be like those who make it with their millions and billions
Wishful lots of them!
Outside the ups and downs of owning own businesses took a lot of courage and resourcefulness and I do not think they have the calibres for it
It's riding a bicycle non stop and once you stop peddling you fall.
Think if they were now not in as the Portfolios they are holding, they be just like others, salaried men and women in.the Government Services or just as Managers in.the Private Sectors
Please don't think too highly of yourselves

Now Government Servants had more rewards and perks than those in the commercial or private sectors with nearly every quarter what's extras and end year bonus or what's allowances
DeletePrivate sectors now hires and fired as whims and even what's their socalled Unions cannot protect them
Now all pampering to the Employers and workers are at the blunt ends
So many with diplomas and degrees doing mundane pitifully mundane platform workers jobs with some even at piece meal basis
So sad for our own
Hundreds of thousands their beloved adopted so called Talents that deprived our own to their rightfully jobs that should be theirs

Who caused Singapore's graduate overcapacity problem?
ReplyDeleteWhere got destroy fortune, the leaders can even increase their own salary and give out more vouchers. So it show there are lot of money to be shared around, but of course the peasants will get the left over. The actual problem in sinkieland is the silly peasants. This peasants do not know that the so call elected G are suppose to be working for them. But instead the peasants behave like slave after every erection.
