There are now many versions of the story of saving a colonel downed deep inside Iran from official and unofficial sources. Trump called it a great victory, a vindication of American superiority in war machine and technology. Some called it a big farce, spending US$2b to save a colonel, losing 11 aircraft in the process. What is the real story? So far it is all based on personal views from the facts reported and available to the public. The real inside story is still a secret.
To assume that the American would throw in 11 aircraft just to save a downed pilot is quite ludicrous. Some ignoramus even argued that this is standard American procedure, including sending two C130s into the operation, including building a make shift runway in the heart of Iran. No one is asking how many manpower and machinery will be needed and how long it would take to build a runway in enemy territory.
Scot Ritter gave his personal account on what could have happened in one of his interviews. There was a big military operation to enter Iran's nuclear facility in Isfahan by Special Forces to steal Iranian enriched uranium, a similar operation like the kidnapping of Maduro in Venezuela. The Americans got carried away be their easy success in that operation. But this time it is different, no traitors to open the door for them, or maybe they thought they had and walked into a trap.
Ritter said the two C130s were fully loaded with equipment, choppers and troops for the mission, ie very heavy. Because of the heavy load, both had to go to the edge of the runway for the full distance for the takeoff. While doing a U turn at the end of the runway, the first C130's nose wheel went out of the makeshift runway and got stuck. The second C130 also had the same problem while trying to avoid hitting the first aircaft. After failing to get unstuck, they eventually transferred whatever they could into new rescue aircraft that arrived and flew off, but not before blowing up the two C130s. Problem with Ritter's version, the C130s were preparing to take off, ie completed their mission with Iranian uranium. Obviously not.
Very likely, the C130s actually just landed at the far end of the runway, had yet to proceed with their mission and got stuck, unable to unload their equipment, choppers and Special Forces, and very likely already getting fired on. Ritter's version assumed that the Iranians were sleeping and the Americans could fly so many aircraft in and out without being noticed and tracked and attacked. The wreckage said they were under heavy fire. It must be. The Iranian radars are everywhere, especially near Isfahan, their nuclear site. And the location of the runway is in the middle of a vast flat land, fully exposed, nothing to take cover. There is no way for the Americans to fly in and out like in homeland America. This is war, this is enemy territory. For all they know, the Iranians were tracking every American aircraft and were waiting for them in an ambush.
The story of a downed weapon system officer, a colonel, is even more ridiculous. Weapon system officer is normally a captain or major or of lower rank. What is a colonel doing behind a pilot of a F15E? Was he the commander in charge of the mission to steal Iranian uranium but got shot down? Even if some of the Special Forces were diverted to save the colonel, how are they going to get out of Iran in such numbers? Rescuing a couple of soldiers in hostile territory with a few choppers quite possible, but a bigger group on top of a mountain and inside enemy territory, and already exposed with hunting parties everywhere, are only made in Hollywood. Every aircraft flying in the area will be spotted by radar or visually and would be shot at. If the Iranians could take down a F15E, and another 10 aircraft, there is no way that the rescuing choppers or a few transport aircraft could come in and fly off safely with their pickups.
Very likely the colonel and many Special Forces are still stuck inside Iran, hiding. Very likely the Iranians are conducting search parties for them and have the area cordoned off, with radars, AA guns and missiles all ready to shoot down anything in the sky or on the ground.'
Trump can tell all the stories he wants. What is the truth? Which is the real story?

ReplyDeleteThis is the same modus operandi as the assassination of John F. Kennedy. It was all about his negative agenda regarding Israel that led to his demise. The Hollywood blockbuster story of Lee Oswald and Jack Ruby were inserted to erase the path leading to the real culprits - Israel and the CIA. More than sixty years after the event, doubts are still swirling about who actually did it. Which means the truth was never allowed to surface.
This is the same modus operandi as 911, with Osama bin Laden given the dubious honor of carrying it out. The collapse of the twin towers was a defying moment in physics, with the third building 'pulled' down despite suffering little fire damage. There were probably incriminating evidence hidden inside that third building that needed to be erased.
Unofficially many analysts pin the culprits as follows - planned and carried out by Israel that wanted a war in Afghanistan, funded by the Saudis, perhaps underwriting the destroyed buildings and planes and given the green light by the USA itself, even to the extent of issuing stand down orders to all fighter jets from engaging those 'hijacked planes' using an ongoing exercise as an excuse, all planned at the right place and the right time.
That 911 attack was just created to carry out an anti-terrorist war against Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan. Debris from the collapsed buildings were removed so hastily that little time was allowed to carry out any on-site investigations as to what caused the freefall collapse. In the aftermath, so much propaganda was fabricated to muddy the waters, such that no clear-cut answers can be found today.
As Brian Berletic disclosed on his site, The New Atlas, the USA has the most devastating weapon in its arsenal - its propaganda machine and its global reach. It overwhelms all attempts to contradict its fabrication and scope. But people are realizing and opening their ears and eyes. The Europeans are taking heed of that now in this war against Iran, refusing to be dragged into it directly. The Arabs are watching and calculating the odds of depending on the false protective umbrella offered by the USA. And China clearly does not care two hoots about all those fabricated nonsense trotted out by the USA propaganda machine.
Trump and his Delta Force were blinded by their success in Venezuela. This mission failed from the very start. They thought they could replicate the success story, recruited some Iranians to do the inside job, stand down and open the door for them to walk in. So easy, so sweet.

The Iranians they recruited doublecross them and set them up for a kill. Colonel commander got shot down, C130s fired on landing and destroyed with cargoes and Delta Force inside. How many Delta Force soldiers were decimated in the fight? Was the colonel saved or dead or still inside Iran, hiding?
What the Americans admitted, 11 aircraft down, How many pilots and crew were also killed? When Trump had to call it a great victory, it is telling that it was a big disaster he was trying to cover up.
Ahh, if that rescue operation had not ended up in catastrophe, Trump will boast again on his dung heap about its out of this world planning and execution, like in Venezuela. Alas, no such occasion for his farting, but he still boasted about having rescued that pilot. Any shit hitting the fan is an excuse for Trump to brag about its success.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that so many planes were involved clearly indicates it was an attempt to infiltrate with boots on the ground using the downed pilot as a cover up. It did not succeed and ended in massive failure. Now face saving takes precedent. However, we will await the casualties involved in that rescue attempt. It will be interesting how the propaganda is going to cover that when families found out the real truth. It is going to hurt, as all truths will.
Trump now probably realizes that putting boots on the ground in Iran is not as simple as invading Venezuela. This is a costly lesson and hopefully he learns from his foolishness about USA military power and overwhelming weapons. The earlier he realizes that the earlier the USA should vacate the Middle East in order to keep the oil flowing.

This is not Venezuela leaders on the take and allowed the USA planes to land and take off without hearing anything. Sounds credible kee-chiu.

How many aircraft were involved in this fiasco to raid Iranian uranium? How many Delta Force personnel were involved and how many killed? If 11 aircraft confirmed taken down, and no other aircraft involved, it would mean Iran achieved a 100% kill rate, taking down every aircraft in the operation.
ReplyDeleteThis is too good to be true. There must be many more aircraft involved to bring home some dead bodies and some wounded soldiers. If 50% of the aircraft were taken down, then at least 22 aircraft were involved, likely to be more. And no casualty in such a big operation? Can you believe that?
Those planes were carrying a large number of ground forces for infiltration, not a rescue operation. Trump and his sidekick thought it was another Venezuela where his troops can land and take off unmolested.
