The growing realization is that the USA is unable to sustain the production of such defense missiles at all, having exhausted them supporting Ukraine and Israel, apart from sales to Taiwan, Japan and other allies. Some even suspect that the USA itself is short of defensive missiles, which has left its own military base and embassies in the Middle East vulnerable.
Having said that, can the USA really sustain a longer war of even 4 to 5 weeks against Iran? Trump is playing Russian roulette, a game of chance, gloating that the USA has the ability to fight a forever war with its supply chain. Who is he trying to fool this time? Not the Iranians, I would think. Let us not even talk about rare earth magnet shortages that are needed for making those weapons.
Many analysts are of the opinion that Iran is well prepared over the years to fight this war, while the USA, as always, is behind the curve, building toilets when the urge to poo is out of control.

Dubai's status as safe haven has evaporated and will never return due to realities revealed by the current Iran war. Singapore is now seen as the true global safe haven city and its allure has been further enhanced by UAE's vulnerabilities . . . .

DeleteAmericunts bullshits defence arsenals failed!
Harping is as good as lying. For years, the hype had been that Israel's 'iron dome' is impenetrable and the Arabs and Muslims swallowed the propaganda and remained muted. Thanks to Hezbollah and the Lebanese, that myth has been destroyed not long ago and Iran is capitalizing on it. Iran already indicated to the Israelis what it can do during the 12-day war earlier, where a ceasefire had to be called to ease further damage to Tel Aviv. The lesson did not register.
ReplyDeleteAs many analysts have already commented, the Math of the current war does not favor the USA nor Israel. The cost factor will enable Iran to win this war, just by firing cheap drones and missiles costing US$30,000 each to elicit Israel to fire interceptors costing US$4 million apiece. And it probably takes more than one interceptor to take down a missile or drone. The USA needed to fire two missiles to take down a stationary weather balloon. Keep that in mind and work on the statistics.
To put the current conflict into perspective, Iran has expended, in terms of cost, just a fraction of what had been expended by Israel, the USA in protecting its military bases and other Arab states protecting their infrastructures, taking down those cheap Iranian drones and missiles.
What about the manufacturing situation for replacing those USA made interceptors, said to number just single or at best double digit production capabilities per year, with some saying that the few days of intercepting had led to the exhaustion of eight years of production effort. Now the USA is just building toilets to take care of its diarrhea, wanting to build cheaper interceptors, just like using Lego blocks.
Iran had already been preparing for this war long ago, building up its drones, missiles and refining its strategy to fight this war. Believe me, the sanctions have done nothing to cripple Iran's military preparedness. Did sanctions cripple North Korea? How about Russia today under close to 20,000 forms of sanctions?
Russia is experiencing its 'huat ah' moment, with oil prices shooting up and with the sale of its gas to China and other Asian states booming in the face of the closure of the Straits of Hormuz and Qatar's position as a major global LNG exporter being curtailed.
Iran has been reported to have scaled down its missile launching for now. The USA watchers on Iran claim that this could mean Iran has nearly exhausted its stockpile of weapons and rationing its usage. Could be, but not necessarily so. More than 40 years of preparing for this war is not going to end up without a plan.
ReplyDeleteIran has categorically already taken out what is important to be taken out - the USA radar system, the interceptor batteries, the USA military bases, the naval base for USA warships in Bahrain, the important embassies, even the hotels that USA military and other personnel are located. Is there any logical reason to keep launching missiles at an infrastructure that had already been destroyed into no more than ashes? That would be ridiculous and insane. The Iranians have been at war for thousands of years and are not that ignorant when it comes to military matters. There is a long road ahead and they knew it.
Is it physically possible for interceptors to take down a cluster bomb? How many interceptors will be needed?
ReplyDeleteToo bad they bought a bad lemon & there is no lemon law to protect them. But at least they have the hardware to sell for scrapes in case they need the money. Sinkieland is even worst off, they paid for the expensive toys and have to park it at seller house & paid rent too.
