Dark clouds over Red Dot

The open letter by Hsien Yang and Wei Ling took all Singaporeans by surprise. The allegations were serious and Hsien Loong would probably in a state of shock. Could he have seen this coming? Not likely as he is on holiday mood.  He would not have gone on vacation if he has seen this coming.

What were the allegations?

1.     Abuse of power

2.     Fear of personal safety from state organs

3.     No confidence in Hsien Loong’s leadership

4.     Disagreement between Hsien Loong and LKY over the demolition of 38 Oxley Road house

Details of the allegations are in the open letter by Wei Ling and Hsien Yang at http://statestimesreview.com/2017/06/14/original-letter-what-has-happened-to-lee-kuan-yews-values/

The allegations are very serious indeed and Hsien Loong would be compelled to make a defence to clarify the matters raised or he would not look good. His integrity is being questioned. In other cases that were slightly similar in nature when Hsien Loong’s integrity was questioned, a legal letter on defamation would be delivered to the alleger in double quick time.

Would Hsien Loong follow up like before after returning from his holiday? Many things, negative things, are now on the table. Not disputing and clearing them would put Hsien Loong in a very bad light and Singapore’s reputation too would be affected. He has replied with a 41 points argument today.

How would this family saga continue from here? And the matters are not only just about a family feud, many of the allegations concern Singapore as a free and democratic state, transparent and rule by law. There is now a dark cloud overhanging the bright little Red Dot and the whole world is watching, not just Singaporeans, in silence. The whole episode would describe what Singapore is all  about, warts and all, baring all, for all to see. This will be the ultimate hard truth about Singapore that no one would be able to read under normal circumstances. The shocking revelation and truth that all Singaporeans and the whole world would finally see and read about are surfacing.

Who is going to sue who? Hsien Loong definitely has ample grounds to sue Wei Ling and Hsien Yang if the allegations were untrue. Do Wei Ling and Hsien Yang have any grounds to sue Hsien Loong before being sued? And whichever happens, more beans will be spilt for sure. This is Battle Royale uniquely Singapore that no one could expect coming from the near perfect family.

The Ruthless Lee Dynastic Power Addicted Aristocracy, for all intent and purposes, is bent on the prolongation of its Dynastic Power. And for that it does not really care for the local Singaporeans who have all this while supported the PAP.

The fact that foreigners of all sorts have been used to replace, replete and replenish the local Singaporeans in all areas and levels, without even bothering to give a damn to the ir future livelihood and existence, shows that this Dynastic Aristocracy's ruthlessness is very similar to the ruthlessness of Japanese Imperial. Army, the British Empire and several Dynastic Rulers of Ancient China.

This saga has been there for a long time, maybe since childhood but both parents failed to detect it as both r working parents. It showed a failed upbringing by the old fart & his wife. Doesn't matter whether Hsien Loong sue or not sue,

as long as the Sinkie opposition is not ready to be govt.

Because 70% will still consider Hsien Loong and PAP to be the lesser of 2 evils,

so they will vote for PAP, be it GE 2015 or GE 2020.

If I were Hsien Loong, I knew I had already screwed Sinkies very hard and yet 70% still voted for PAP in GE 2015,

so why would I need to sue my own brother and sister

when I am very confident the opposition will not be ready to be govt and

hence 70% will still vote for me and PAP next election?

  31. Looks like Singapore nowadays 'boh cheng hoo' leow.

Everything goes up, up and up. No mercy leh. Hawkers know that water price hike coming so they raise prices before that happens, because some elites warn them against raising prices because of the water price hike. In fact I would not call that a warning. It is more a signal to every hawker to raise prices before July, which is when water will be more expensive. And the price increase is like 15% or more. And hawkers argue that this is less than the increase in water prices to come. They have their reasons. Everyone making money have their reasons.

Therefore, every hawker has already read the signal and increase prices in case some sleeping elites woke up and singled them out for profiteering.

Dark clouds are even darker for you and me. What to do? How to run when you are poor, lowly educated and boh liau (no substance).

Not so in the early days. Those in their 70's or older had choices. That is why and how the PAP came into power. Now, I agree exercising your vote and my vote and your choice and my choice has been diluted by new citizens and PAP diehards, blinded by greed and overtaken by fear. 70% support for the PAP will be the norm now. An autocracy will be staring at us in the future, if not already here today.

Laws will be tightened, rules will be changed (without you and me knowing or understanding it's significance), citizens will be watched (the moment you step out of your house, there are cameras all over, all on the pretext of security) and opposition will be beatened to the ground and demonised. There is little chance of making your choice matter any more.
