It was the lightning bolt. Now the merlion was caged. This latter piece is on the front page of ST today.

First the Flyer, now the Merlion. What next? Those friggin' highly paid monkees better get their acts together and investigate why nobody ever thought that there should be a lightning arrester installed on top of the icon.
Someone's head should roll...........The tourists around would have lots to write home about and not all will be complimentary.
