Medhi Hasan - What is the human cost to USA's economic miracle?

My title to this article is inspired by Medhi Hasan’s Head to Head programme with a similar title, What is the human cost to China's economic miracle? Broadcast by Al Jazeera on Mar 15, 2019. The Medhi Hasan programme had these paragraphs as an introduction,

‘In this episode of Head to Head, Mehdi Hasan challenges Charles Liu, Senior Fellow at Peking University, seasoned Chinese entrepreneur and informal adviser to the Chinese government, on Xi Jinping’s record in power so far, the government’s crackdown on the Uighur Muslim minority, and what role for China if it becomes the 21st century’s military and economic superpower….

But the economic boom has been paired with an increase in state surveillance and crackdowns on dissent, as well as the repression of the Muslim Uighur minority. So at what cost has China’s economic miracle come? And what’s the future for civil liberties of the Chinese people?....’

To cut matter short, Medhi Hasan’s main agenda was about China’s treatment of the Uighur minority problem and the militant Uighurs being detained in reeducation camp in Xinjiang. He claimed that according to western analysts, American sources and satellite images, there were 1m Uighurs arrested and detained in the reeducation camp and treated cruelly by the Chinese authorities, suffering from interrogation and harsh treatments. Mehdi Hasan loved what he was doing and acting so smug as he read out his prepared questions to humiliate his Chinese panel of experts on how bad China was in treating the Uighurs.

I have only a few questions to ask him. How reliable were his sources of information on the 1m Uighurs in detention camp produced by the Americans and western sources? Could satellite photographs really show 1m detainees? How much land or buildings would be needed to house 1m detainees? 1m people is more than a small city or a big town.

Anyway, I would want to put him on the stand and ask the same questions he asked the Chinese on the American economic miracle and the human cost involved. If I can remember, several tens of millions of native Americans were terminated under the fire power of white American invaders called soldiers. Many were terminated, especially the womenfolks, the old and the young by European diseases planted into the villages which they had no exposure and resistance to, thus wiping out thousands of native Americans in the process.

That was not all. The survivors of this nationwide genocide were sent on a long march to the reservations, ie poor desert land, to thrive and survive on their own. No, the white Americans did not send them to reeducation camps. And the number of surviving natives from the genocide was still in the millions, not 1m Uighurs.

The human cost of the American economic miracle did not stop at the massacre of the native Indians, to the tune of several tens of millions, but also include nation wide slavery of African slaves. These slaves had no protection of human rights from their white predators. They were hunted down like animals in Africa and brought to America in slave ships, chained and caged like animals.

What is the human cost of this black slavery of Africans? Could Medhi Hasan give an answer to the genocide of native Americans and slavery of Africans?

Another question I would like to ask Medhi Hasan is how to solve the violent problems of the Uighurs? They were conducting terrorist attacks all over Xinjiang and the neighbouring states, suicide bombers and attacking and killing people on the streets?

If he can’t find a good solution, I would suggest that he proposed to China to learn from the white Americans and do what they did to the native Americans. Then, after wiping them out from the surface of the earth, there will be no more problems from them. Then China can go all over the world championing human rights, without the native Indians and African slaves, just like the Americans are doing today.

What do you think, Medhi Hasan?

@ all

Nah, I won't be fucking this guy up the arse. He's Al Jazeera, ex BBC most of them, so they take the side of the UN, progressive politics etc.

Sometimes a culture can achieve wealth by fairly peaceful means.

But history has shown us, there's no economic miracles without wars, social upheaval, massive political action and amoral, pragmatic "the ends justify the means" behaviour.

To make an omelette, you have to break eggs. The bigger the omelette, the more eggs you'll need to use.

China is playing for high stakes, so she'll be doing stuff which will piss people off. That's just a given.

Every massive economic advancement requires massive action. The European colonists, the Roman, British, Mongolian, Dutch, Spanish empires...as well as the early Vikings all expanded their power wealth and influence by MASSIVE ACTION, which not everyone agreed with.

China is doing the same. To fucking bad of you don't like it. And if you think writing MSM articles or making comments on blogs is going to stop them, you need to take a visit to Disneyland for more fantasy 😂

The War Stocks Guy will advise: these types of tensions present MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY. For every massive action there's massive reaction. The bigger the moves, the greater the opportunities for PROFIT.

It really doesn't matter who says what. Opinions don't do Jack shit. Only action counts. The rubber needs to meet the road... at some point you're going to have to back up your opinion with REAL MONEY (or some other personal sacrifice), or you're just blowing smoke up your own arse.

The following extracts from Baidu:

1. "Emperor Qin Shihuang burned books and confessed to Confucianism. He intended to maintain a unified political power and further rule out different political ideas and opinions, but did not receive the expected results. This is different from the other measures adopted by Emperor Qin Shihuang. It was unexpectedly expected by Qin Shihuang and Yan Lisi."

2. "Burning books and pits Confucianism is only the projection of Qin Shihuang's thinking on the rule of the country. For the government, as the representative of the old road, the acts of the great Confucians will undoubtedly bring danger to Daqin. He is afraid of the softening of the country and the army. The fear of this power led to the establishment of a set of strategies by the government, which in turn accelerated the demise of the Qin Dynasty."

What is the human cost of all the wars started by the US? Have the MSM ever talk about that, the civilians, women and children, who died from the bombings and brushed aside as collateral damage?

All I read about is Tien An Man and all the cruelty meted out by the Chinese leaders. If I am not mistaken, all the unrest in Xinjiang are created by the West to put shame on China. Anything that can put pressure on China, be it economic, social or environmental, is used nowadays by the West to put down China. Think about that!

Same with the Rohingya in Myanmar, with the West trying to create shame on the regime that did not have such problems under military rule in the past. Why is the Rohingya problem so prominent right after Myanmar tried to experiment with western democracy? Myanmar is very rich in resources and still close to China. That is why!

The US and the West can talk about human rights, but do they talk about the rights of the blacks and Red Indians in their own backyard?

Did the MSM ever talk about the poverty prevalent in unknown enclaves in the US, the tent people for example, without homes in almost every major city in the US? Not many people know that, because they are the richest country in the world, the No. 1 economic powerhouse. Such poverty in the No. 1 economic powerhouse is not digestable news for many and never broadcast to the world.

Ch8na - On A More Positive Note - Part I

As China has been ramping up efforts to push forward financial opening-up, overseas investors have also responded actively by further expanding their foothold in the country.

The latest sign has come in the country's bond market, as according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System & National Interbank Funding Center, foreign institutions are moving into China's bond market at the fastest speed since 2019, with products from leading global asset managers such as BlackRock and Vanguard entering the market at a large scale.

In the first quarter of 2019, transactions by foreign institutional investors in the Chinese market reached 919.1 billion yuan ($136.77 billion), up 31 percent year-on-year, according to data from the Center.

Analysts believe the trend will accelerate, as starting Monday, 364 Chinese yuan-denominated bonds will be added to the Bloomberg Barclays Global Aggregate Index over the next 20 months.

Global big players, including the big banks in USA and UK, are dumping US bonds and picking up China bonds. In investment, there is no loyalty. Loyalty is for the green horns and naive investors. Whereas, for the sharks, they go where the potential harvests are.

Layman Translation:

1. "The Qin Dynasty First Emperor, in his quest to fulfill his tyranny and despotism, ordered the mass burning of books as well as the LIVE BURIAL of Confucius scholars to silence public opinion and dissent. But the measures backfired and caught the Qin Dynasty First Emperor and his Premier Li Shi by surprise."

Layman Translation:

Point 2.

"The mass burning of books and live burial of the vocal Confucius scholars were mere reflection of the Sin Emperor's oppressive and dictatorial conduct of governance in exercising absolute authority and brutal authoritarianism over his subjects. Being representative of the older order, the Confucius scholars were seen as threat to his dictatorship. Faced with such vocal group that could undermine his kingdom, it hardened and consolidated his resolve of applying his oppressive modus operandi to supposedly strengthen his dynasty grip on absolute power and tyranny over the masses. Alas, it did not work as envisaged but catalysed the monumental collapse of the short-lived Qin Dynasty. "

///Back to the Rain during Qingming Festival; some states in Malaysia and many other countries are currently having the highest temperatures on record. lt has resulted in droughts.
For Sin,
we are into scorching temperature and do expect it to rise. The sparse few drops lately hardly wet the surfaces.
Let me the Audacity to even say expect tremors that could result in dsmage and fatality within the Next Century although the Tiny Dot is found to be in quake free location.
However,
before the Wreckage of Tremor, the Heat shall claim its toll.

Uncle Patriot,

Looks like you are the expert in weather reading?

Today, the scorching sun and sweltering temperature is INDEED "热烘烘" (in spite of the Qing Ming season?)

Escaping the heat outdoor into the indoor kitchen, alas the heat was maciam inside a tandoora cooker? :(

Recently, with such unbearable heat, life is like living in a furnace?

Do you agree that with such sweltering heat and burning atmosphere, it is maciam the ants jumping on the frying pan and bordering the limit of "Tak Boleh Tahan"?

Ever thought of "applying oil to your two feet and liu" to a cooler place like "heaven in the cloud" where uncle Virgo is now at to escape from the crazy hot sweltering furnace-like heat in "辛" city?

@All,

ALL COUNTRIES COMMIT FUCK ON PEOPLE. BIGGER THE COUNTRY, BIGGER THE FUCK. ACCEPT IT. EMBRACE IT. PROFIT FROM IT.

China is doing it. US is doing it. Russia is doing it. UK is doing it. Brazil is doing it. Oz is doing it. S'pore is doing it.

S'pore fucks very little on the world stage. Ok it used to sell many landmines & a little bit of SAR80 assault rifles to many 3rd world countries in Asia & Africa (go go ST Engineering/Kinetics!!!!). But these days, S'pore's sperm is 1 or 2 droplets on overseas & mainly in support of local ops (e.g. $2.5 billion to expand Rockhampton/Shoalwater Bay/Townsville training areas). S'pore mainly fucks its own people e.g. compulsory NS, 1/3 of budget spending on war toys & security, intensive monitoring & espionage on own Sinkies.

All this means more profits for War Stocks!!!!

Not forgetting Tech stocks --- which are the new vampire squids with tentacles in war stocks, mass consumerism, mass behaviourism, mass education (information), mass manipulation, mass healthcare, privileged healthcare (for rich & powerful only), AI & automation, manufacturing, banking & finance, transportation, logistics, food sourcing & supply.

Of course, Healthcare, Drug & Pot stocks. Why KPKB about compulsory medishield life, eldershield life, careshield life etc when you can profit from it?!?

Against tyranny, sacrifices will have to be made. The bigger the tyrant, the more the sacrifices. Fear will have to be the first to go. Courage and collective will of the masses are the two key ingredients to that must flourish in an environment created by fear-mongering.

Saudi Arabia Determined To Become A Nuclear Power

Saudi Arabia is nearing completion of its first nuclear reactor, triggering warnings to Israel and Iran about the risks of the kingdom acquiring the technology to build nuclear bombs.

The research facility is located in the southwest corner of the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in Riyadh, according to images published by GoogleEarth.

They’re the first in the public
domain to confirm that the program is advancing, showing construction nearing its finish around a columnar vessel that will contain atomic fuel.

The advancement is alarming to arms-control experts because Saudi Arabia has yet to sign up to the international framework of rules other nuclear powers follow to ensure that civilian atomic programs are not used to build weapons.

Nuclear fuel providers won’t move to supply the unit until new surveillance arrangements have been sealed with the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna.

However, Trump's Whiteman House has already secretly approved the supply of nuclear technology and nuclear energy material to Saudi Arabia. This double standard vis-a-vis North Korea has hardened North Korea's resolve to keep her nuclear weapons and continue to develop further.

Hello Uncle Hero ... Oops. . Patriot,

Are the above statements rhetorical (as they sounded (much) easier said than done)?

Or they are statements for action?

If it is the latter, have you considered taking the plunge at the front or lead by example yourself?

If not, will not those who heed your call become "cannon folder" or "cannon shell"?

Just thinking aloud.. .

Anonymous said...

Courage is a rare commodity in today's material and money world. Therefore, rhetorical questions tend to be met wuth theoretical answers.

Cowardice is a commodity in abundance, even amongst hundreds of thousands of trained soldiers.

Collective will of the masses is even more hard to come by, because conditioned existence has been happening for years and years, without end. As a result, human beans have significantly transformed into obedient pet dogs and unthinking sheeples. How then can one envisage canon folders or artillery shells to be manufactured in a culture of kiasu and kiasi?

Therefore, easier said than done is a forgone conclusion valid in everyone's mind. Therefore also, your thinking aloud is a clear representation of the unthinking masses:

THE SHEEPLES DESERVE THE MASTER THEY ASKED FOR (thoughtfully or brainlessly)!
