F - 1 More Good Years

More good years for who? For the foreigners to bring their cars to run on our roads and to make profits from it while our taxpayers are paying for it?  During the last few sessions of  negotiation it was evident that F 1  was desperate for Singapore to host this event. They could not find a more hospitable , convenient and comfortable location for this event. It was like a die die they must hold it here.

Now would this give Singapore an advantage in the negotiation to cut a better deal to Singapore's advantage? Would Singapore negotiate for a share of the revenue from the event by working on the cost from each party and apportion the revenue proportionately ? Or would Singapore still be made to bear the $150m for the 3 night event? So far nothing was said of the new terms and agreements . Did Singapore get a better deal this time or again it is OPM, never mind, just spend , who cares? What is in it for Singapore to host this event for another 4 years and what is the cost to Singapore ?  Any real returns other than the intangibles?  Can there be more transparency on this as hundreds of millions of public money is being spent on this event.

More good years is meant for "Ownshelves" too?

No?

What is your net worth compared to Wooden Block and his 2g merrymen?

Mabok Tan, TLJ (aka CB), Yoyo Jiak Hong, Danamugam, Jayamugaratnam, loctor mindker limp etc etc are all paupers living on the streets & hdb flats or multimillionaires enjoying good life in ostentatious 20,000 sq ft up GCBs (Good Class Bungalows) in District 9 & 10, with some of their properties modelled after opulent French chateaus and reconstructed in ahgualand?

More good years indeed?

After PM Goh Chok Tong made his world famous promises of:

1. "Swiss Standard of Living".
2. "More Good Years".

What has happened from then to now? He ruled for 14 years. LHL rule for 13 years already.
Between the two of them, they have ruled Singapore for 27 years (to be precise, 1990 to 2017).

Who are the ones getting the "Swiss standard of Living" and "More Good Years"?

Answer: One of them is Goh Chok Tong himself!
Even until now, Goh Chok Tong is still enjoy "More Good Years"!

Am I correct or wrong?

The US is preparing to invade Syria and Qatar.
It cannot afford to have a war with North Korea.
War with North Korea, is only a psychological warfare to lure China into conflict with North Korea.
And to make South Korea and Japan to buy more military hardware from USA.

War with Syria and Qatar has benefits for USA and to counter-balance Iran and Russia in the Middle East.
Trump is no more himself. He is a puppet working for the interests of a small pack of hyenas..

Syrian govt army has crossed the Euphrates River to get closer to the encircled IsIs in Deir Ezzor.
Once the Isis sandwich inbetween are mobbed out. The battle for Syrian govt troops to fight US back anti Is troops shall begin.

Who provide vessels to transport Syrian troops and assets? Russia did it in mid Sept.

US s Syrian Democratic Force will have a good chance to meet the Syrian Tiger Forces under Syrian army. The bet is one sided, by looking at the map how Syrian govt troops did their jobs.

Indeed?

It depends which angles and lens being used?

From the lens they wear & their angles, cfm spot on cos the costs are SOCIALISED and borned by opm $$$ (the pple's taxes) but the benefits (miilions salaries & bonuses etc) are privatised into their own pockets & BANK ACCOUNTS?

It is a no-brainer decision for them?

If it is based on "u die own biz" governance?

The following article is cut and pasted here from TRE for all to read:

"Teenage blogger Amos Yee Pang Sang, who spent almost a year in a United States detention centre has finally been granted asylum by the US Board of Immigration Appeal (BIA).

The 19-year-old was detained on 16th December 2016 when he landed at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport with a tourist visa where he told border control during a secondary screening that he was seeking asylum. [ LINK ]

He was subsequently turned over to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and remains in their custody “pending federal immigration court proceedings.”

Represented pro-bono by a Maryland-based lawyer Sandra Grossman, Amos officially submitted his application for asylum to an immigration court on 31st January 2017 and was granted asylum by Immigration Judge, Samuel B. Cole on 24th March 2017.

However, he remains detained as ICE had filed an appeal against the decision of the Immigration Judge, who had concluded that the Singapore government persecuted Amos on account of his political opinion, and that he is deserving of asylum as a matter of discretion.

BIA agrees with Immigration Judge

According to a Facebook post by Reform Party chief Kenneth Jeyaretnam on Tuesday (27 Sept), the BIA in agreeing with Immigration Judge Samuel Cole ruled that Amos is deserving of asylum.

TRE understand that Amos’s lawyers are in the process of securing his release from detention.

Still wanted in Singapore

Even though the teenage blogger has been granted asylum and is in the process of being an American citizen, Amos can still be wanted in Singapore and will likely be arrested if he returns to or transit through Singapore or even visit Malaysia.

This is because Amos has not presented himself for National Service, an offence under the Enlistment Act.

In any case, the Team@TRE would like to wish Amos all the best in the land of the free."

MORE GOOD YEARS FOR AMOS YEE! MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND MAKE YOU WISER!

Very few teens would celebrate Amos Yee s release in prison, except the few sites like TRE. There are flaws in Amos Yee s characters. He is used as a tool for publicity against the tyrants, as depicted in this teen s video. His courage was celebrated. But he was not brave. He did not see through his life on what he chose to go against with.

This teen like a dog barking loud, but run with the tail in between the legs. His value for publicity is coming to an end. How is he going to live with some income and work out his own path will require money. Will he continue to do fund raising on this island? He cannot. Few difficult years ahead for this teen who escape NS. AWOL is the name for such teens.

Well said.
One clear failure in the economy is the lacking of products to sell to the world market. These ah neh are keen to sign free trade agreement because there is no tariffs on imported goods except a few like alcohol tobacco.

In plaint words, there is nothing much to sell except properties, and fresh (meat). No consumers useful things that can export to consumers in China or Europe.

Over believing on cheap labor cost will make them the champions for " free trade". Did they lift people living inside out of poverty or pushing more citizens into poverty through their free immigrants import policy?

Voters need to be awaken. Delete away the loyalty to a nation is highly dangerous when they want to protect their own assets.

Will letting foreigners taking away income rightfully to be earned by the well trained citizens a mis step or a wise move?
Look at the empty spaces for shops and factories. Who dare to invest money on them? The citizens are not willing to "jobs" except drive private taxi to fetch passengers. They are willingly letting foreigners to become managers to hire them. These managers from flooding villagers are money collectors scammers, at least 10 to 30% of them. The entire economy produces no good innovative products to attract consumers abroad.

Ah neh s policy is like the F1, is for show. F1 block town businesses from consumers for few days and night. Who get the money? Who take the money away? Its the same concept like the foreigners taking jobs away from local offices and factories. They take the money away monthly and yearly. That s ah neh s economic policy.

Singapore property prices going to fall?

Source close to Chinese Communist Party suggests joint action needed as Chinese buyers drive up housing prices in Southeast Asian countries.

"Experience shows that overseas property-buying sprees by Chinese investors can have huge consequences for the target economies. Foreign capital inflows usually drive up local property prices beyond their intrinsic value and housing becomes unaffordable to local people, contributing to social instability.

Joint efforts are needed to beef up regulations and curb such investment. Chinese regulators must enhance supervision over the use of outbound funds and restrict outflows for property investment.

Southeast Asian countries, for their part, must develop and implement policies that will avoid the negative impact that Chinese homebuyers may have on their local markets and societies. "

What's wrong?

Cannot use OPM $$$ (taxpayers sweat blood $$$) to SUBSIDISE foreigners' decadent, profligate, hedonistic, excessively extravagant high life entertainment meh?

No budget just tax on essentials lah like water, electricity, parking charges ..... etc etc?

Then use these 30% water tax collected to pay lah ...?

Must make the red hair happy (& pappy) what?

Cos many red hair here makes ahgualand atas?

From some pple's angles and the lenses they wear, facile appearances more impt mah if it is based on "u die own biz" governance?

So to pay for this rich red hair pastime and high life entertainment, it is not inconceivable that a new tax to exact and extract some sweat blood $$$ from oldies who likes sweet things in the form of diabetes prevention tax mah?

So now if u old uncles liao eveLEE go kopishops drink a few times they might tax u extra $0.20 to $0.50 per beverage drink to add up to additional 150 million?

Then eveLEE year the rich red hair can enjoy their fast toys mah?

Oldies welfare or the rich red hair enjoyment more impt?

From some pple's angles and lenses (based on if "u die own biz" governance), which one matters?

It is a no-brainer decision for them lah, is it NOT?

The China state council has issued restricted investment overseas on property, hotel, film industry etc under category 2.
Prior to this rule on 18 Aug 17, funds investing overseas has declined 82% against previous year.

This new restriction will curb funds flowing out and into sinkieland.

Sinkieland can sell properties to ah neh in chennai and tamil nadu. Ah long has lobangs alot of buyers will queue like buying iphone 8.

One solution to save sg from having TOO many foreigners is to have a super bug that kill kill kill. It will sure scare off those foreigners. We are not against foreigners but against TOO many foreigners stealing our jobs. Sg is TOO small for so many people.

Another solution is sg become a state of oz or usa so we can move to less crowded areas and free from papists.

If sg is a state of usa of oz, china cannot kpkb when their ships enter scsea. Happy ending. Not against china but just do not want a marxist to take over the world. Marxism is inhuman, antifamily and cronyism.

//The China state council has issued restricted investment overseas on property, hotel, film industry etc under category 2.//

PBOC have to act lah ...?

So Zhou Xiao Chuan probably advise his bosses to stamp the outflow ...?

As US FED anti-QE (non-reinvestment) kicks in next month @ USD10b per month, eveLEE 3 months will add another USD10b till USD50b by letting bonds mature but not reinvesting, which direction would funds flow globally? The mid-term int rate target is 2.8%.

A strong currency is underpinned by some economic fundamentals though sometimes it can be "artificial"?

How about a weak currency? Is it necessarily good for the economy? Obviously, the Chinese are finding it more expensive to travel overseas especially to countries that RMB has depreciated in the past 2 years? For example, many China parents back home are struggling to send $$$ to pay for their children expenses in ahgualand cos need remit about RMB15,000 per month to sustain each kid for education and living expenses? So some kids here can't get by with the lesser amount received each month have to fren old men or lau aunties to get by? This is just one implication of a weakening currency?

Can imagine in ahgualand where parents have to send their children to overseas countries where the exchange rate is 5 to 1? So means need to remit SGD15,000 eveLEE month? Fortunately for many ahgualand parents, the strongest now is just SGD1.36, 1.6 & 1.82 to 1?

So if their children can't get into local uni after their places are taken over by 25% foreign students quota, many might be able to go US, UK or Aussieland?

Now about SGD1.08 to 1 in Aussie? Downgrade from Condo to 3 rm flat, balance can pay the 4-yr SGD250,000 education in Downunder le? Or use refinancing lah which many ahgualand parents did just that to send their children to overseas uni education after being deprived of one by 25% foreign students quota in local uni at foc for many 3rd world children, courtesy of generous scholarships and bursary all expenses paid (by ahgualand taxpayers)? Means local parents/ oldies/ grandparents sponsored overseas children at the expense of their own children and burn a big hole in their retirement funds?

Life is short.

Life is uncertain.

Anyone can go anytime.

Unexpectedly.

No one is exempted.

What do you need to do most now?

Tomorrow may not arrive?

Too hasty even to bid the last goodbye?

Do not be surprised if the unexpected happens, suddenly.

Life is fragile.

Life is weak.

Only a tiny pocket of light in the vast cosmic ocean of darkness.

Everyone has their peak, once.

More good years?

Not anymore.

Swiss Standard of Living?

Keep dreaming and believing the words of the snake oil salesman

The elixir of life

The panacea for all illnesses

False hopes

Empty promises

Snake oil is snake oil

Plain, blatant outright lies

Spoken with two wide open eyes.

Zenith reached in 1984.

Now at half way downhill.

Misery, hardship, despondency, poverty, desolation awaiting at the mountain foot...

More good years?

Mind foot!

Swiss Standard of Living?

Just the moon in the mid-autumn water pond.

Can see, but cannot touch.

In seconds, a stone splashing ripples dashes,

Waking up to,

A moon no more in the mid-autumn pond.
