The United States made a pointed statement to North Korea that it would resort to violence, to attack North Korea if necessary. The United States have removed its veil as a peace loving Empire and would attack any country, particularly North Korea, if it did not stop its denuclearization programme. The world must come to the expectation that only the United States is allowed to have all the nuclear weapons at its disposal and no small countries would be allowed to have nuclear weapons except those that the United States could not attack without being counter attacked and those countries that the United States permitted to have nuclear weapons.

The United States have gone from bad to worse, instead of pretending to be a peace loving country, it is now saying it clearly that it would use force against smaller countries, to attack smaller countries, to conduct wars at its own discretion. Like a juvenile bully, the United States would use its big clout, its military power to bully smaller states to keep them from pursuing nuclear goals. Only the United States can have nuclear goals and ambition. It made it clear that it would impose economic sanctions against countries wanting to have nuclear weapons.

It’s avowed reason is for the United States to attack any country under the guise or deceptive term called regime change. Regime change is the United States code to invade a country to change its legitimate govt of the day. The North Korean govt must bear in mind that it would suffer the same fate of Iraq, Libya and Syria if it did not possess nuclear weapons to defend itself against an invasion by the United States. Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons are the only credible and effective deterrent against a vicious attack by the United States and its allies and their hostile policies of ‘regime change’.

When the Evil Empire think of nothing but its own military dominance and control over smaller countries, it sees nothing intrinsically wrong to attack and invade smaller states wanting to have nuclear weapons of their own, no matter that such weapons are for the defence against an attack by the United States. Given the peculiar and outrageous thinking of the United States, having nuclear weapons is the only means of survival and to prevent an attack by the United States.

However there is a way to end the brinkmanship in the Korean crisis. The United States must know that North Korea has the ability to strike back at the American continent and it is for the good of the United States to capitulate its aggressive intent to attack North Korea and to negotiate peacefully and to accept North Korea as another nuclear power.

The United States must reach a peaceful deal with emerging nuclear powers like Iran and North Korea, to engage them diplomatically instead of threatening them with military confrontation and war. The United States must move beyond sabre rattling, to come to the negotiating table to reach a peaceful settlement with North Korea and Iran, to lower tension and not to turn peace into war.

The United States cannot hope to solve the nuclear problems on its own without bringing in other nuclear powers to negotiate for a new status quo. The United States must change from its unilateral policy of wanting to have all the nuclear weapons to threaten other countries and not allowing other countries to have nuclear weapons to protect themselves against a mad and trigger happy United States that live on wars, that thrive on wars and profited from wars.

Mr RB, last few days less rhetoric of the Americans blowing hot air on North Korea. Trump said it's be a Honour to meet Kim Jong Un.

So, he meets his make up artist and hairdressers to have his image altered to look like Kim.

Thinks he got lots of respects for Kim.

Wonder will Trump altered his look to be like the Prime Minister of Singapore who thinks must have also gained lots of respects from the then Obama-san administration to be invited for a White House dinner.

He is the most vocal in cajoling the President of One over billion and more in population to heed the Ruling of The International Cooked of Justice.

It's be interesting to see the new image with his best chuckling laughter.

Can this also apply to Singapore?
e.g.

/// The PAPayas cannot hope to solve Singaporean problems on its own without bringing in other political parties to negotiate for a new status quo.
The PAPayas must change from its unilateral policy of wanting to have all the political power and not allowing other alternative political parties to lead Singaporeans in a different direction. ///

True or not?
Fair or not?

Sincerely
Mrs Tan Ku Ku in Singapore.

RB

It depends lah.

If the United States think that they can attack Iran and North Korea without retaliation, the United States will attack.

If the United States think that Iran and North Korea will retaliate, then the United States
will reach a peaceful deal and engage them diplomatically.

If PAP think that Sinkies will still vote for PAP because opposition not ready to be govt, then PAP will have NS for Sinkies and jobs for foreigners.

If PAP think that the Sinkie opposition will be ready to be govt, then PAP will take care of Sinkies first.

So it is up to Sinkies to make the Sinkie opposition ready to be govt so that PAP will take care of Sinkies first.

Hi Mrs Tan Ku Ku in Singapore (10:50 am), good morning........

What for PAP bring in other parties.......

Singapore where got problem.....everythings oso "swee-swee".......

Anyway, 70% voted for them and predicted 80% at next GE.......

Oso predicted that they will win 100% contested seats, recapturing H smc and A grc.......

So there is no place for other parties......sorry, don't waste time!

hahaha.......

11:14 am

Not with opposition leaders like Low Thia Khiang, Chee Soon Juan, Goh Meng Seng, Kenneth son of JBJ, Tan Jee Say or Chiam See Tong and wife.

With this group of leaders, it is a political tragedy for the Sinkie opposition. Tragedy because they will every time lose for sure, no matter how screw up and terrible PAP is or become. And this one PAP knows very well.

That's why PAP dare to raise prices of everything, including water and "end of 99 year=$0 value" HDB pigeonholes so expensive and Sinkies CPF kosong at retirement.

Anonymous 11:27 am is 1oo% correct!

Oppositions in Singapore cannot go far.

Look....this tiny rock...got soooooooo many opposition parties, not united!

How to vote? That is one reason for the 70%. Maybe 80% at next GE!

Anyway....must salute them for their sacrifices.

Salute no use.
Have to support by voting for them.
Otherwise,
- get use to our constantly improving MRT train services at "affordable" prices.
- or kosong value HDB flats

Too bad lah, his NSP sangat kechil lah, so Sinkies see his party no up, that's why NSP will always lose one, no matter who lead the party.

Sinkie opposition can only have chance to win when they can contest 100% seats AS ONE PARTY like the PAP, and not 100% seats with many parties which Sinkies see it as a sign of weakness and disunity, and hence not able to form a better govt even if they vote them to win.

Oppositions how to win! You tell me lah! You tell me lah!

At most, the GEs would be more colourful and more interesting with oppsitions.

Where is oppositions? PAP IS EVERYWHERE! Everyday is PAP day!

PAP is too big to fail! Many many had already vested here!

Toooooooooooooooo late!

Pa-Pa-Ya how to reproduce on its own?

Need Ma-Ma-Ya to (cross-) polineate, propagate, procreate by creating the compulsion for Pa-Pa-Ya to eject their essence to ensure perpetuation of sinkies?

On their own, (mental) masturbation by Pa-Pa-Ya would not lead to pregnancy (of new ideas, innovations, increased TFP -TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY .....) to ensure sustainability of the Sin City?

With Ma-Ma-Ya, Di-Di-Ya & Mei-Mei-Ya, Sin City would have a complete "famiLEE" together with Pa-Pa-Ya to engender continuity and regeneration of the future generations?

Only 30% of Singaporeans allowed to be graduate ??
No wonder in GE 2015, only 30% of Singaporeans voted for Opposition.
North Korea type of education policy or not?

True or not ?

All the Singaporean students who got rejected by Singapore universities
Do you think they should vote for Opposition Parties?
Just to let Ong Ye Kung know what they think of PAPaya's Education Policies ... ???

Whether it is 30% or70%, PAP votes will not changed.

In fact the prediction is 80% at next GE.

Singapore is like that lah!

This is the new normal!

6:33 pm

If WP lose Hougang and Aljunied next GE, it will be 80% for PAP.

And looks like AHTC going to kena very tua kee (big trouble) due to the auditor report.

And because of that, WP MPs may even kena charged in court and disqualified before next GE.

U just wait n see lah.

3.18pm // On their own, (mental) masturbation by Pa-Pa-Ya would not lead to pregnancy (of new ideas, innovations, increased TFP -TOTAL FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY .....) to ensure sustainability of the Sin City?//

Source: Wikipedia

"In economics, total-factor productivity (TFP), also called multi-factor productivity, is a variable which accounts for effects in total output growth relative to the growth in traditionally measured inputs of labor and capital. TFP is calculated by dividing output by the weighted average of labor and capital input, with the standard weighting of 0.7 for labor and 0.3 for capital.[1] If all inputs are accounted for, then total factor productivity (TFP) can be taken as a measure of an economy’s long-term technological change or technological dynamism.

The equation below (in Cobb–Douglas form) represents total output (Y) as a function of total-factor productivity (A), capital input (K), labor input (L), and the two inputs' respective shares of output (α and β are the share of contribution for K and L respectively). An increase in either A, K or L will lead to an increase in output.

{\displaystyle Y=A\times K^{\alpha }\times L^{\beta }} Y=A\times K^{\alpha }\times L^{\beta }

Technology growth and efficiency are regarded as two of the biggest sub-sections of Total Factor Productivity, the former possessing "special" inherent features such as positive externalities and non-rivalness which enhance its position as a driver of economic growth.

Total Factor Productivity is often seen as the real driver of growth within an economy and studies reveal that whilst labour and investment are important contributors, Total Factor Productivity may account for up to 60% of growth within economies."

Many studies are done by economists on long term economic growth of countries across the globe since 1900.

The study started with OECD countries namely the US, several European countries and Japan.

It then expanded to include fast growing Asian economies in the period between 1960 to 1990 namely Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and Peesai and emerging economies like China etc.

For the fast growing Asian economies (1960 to 1990) and emerging economies, one startling fact emerged:

The rest of the Asian economies exhibited positive and significant TFP component in their total economic growth whereas PEESAI was the only one whose economy grew without any contribution by TFP.

In fact, one study showed that between 1960 to 1990, despite the strong economic growth, TFP in peesai was negative.

Many studies have shown that TFP is key to long term growth sustainability especially for mature economy.

Between 1990 to 2016 (slow growth period), do you think the TFP in peesai was any better than the high growth period of 1960 to 1990?

If not, where is it going to take the economy from 2017 to 20xx?

The studies also showed that Peesai grew predominantly due to capital accumulation and imported labour growth since 1990 (coinciding with lao goa leg open wide wide immigration policy from 1990 onwards)

But using a simple Solow growth production function of Y=F(K, L), converting to intensive form to strip out labour growth and measure it in terms of output growth per worker, the equation can be rewritten as Y/L = F(K/L, L/L)

which becomes

y = F(K/L,1)
= F(k,1)
= f(k)

The big Y denotes aggregate output whereas the small y denotes output per worker.

Likewise, the big K denotes total capital accumulation whereas the small k denotes capital accumulation per worker

Now, if transpose this model or any other exogenous, endodgenous or latest model into the peesai economy (for simple illustration purpose), the "cracks immediately become very obvious"?

The growth story is coming to an end (without growth in A in the simple Cobb-Douglas function highlighted in the excerpt extracted from wikipedia, where A is a function of TFP including technology etc.

Currently, few leaders in the world are interested in Singapore. President Xi, Saudi king, V. President pence, all bypass singapore on their official tour around this region. Sg is no more important anymore, like bata (buy and throw away). Anyway bata is better than pap. It is very much cheaper.

If u were LHL, would u care?

Singapore is too small and insignificant even to its immediate neighbors.
What does Singapore have?
Nothing, just a concrete jungle fill with robotic
occupants.

However, having said that, one Singaporean got to dine wth US President and also got phonecall from one looking forward to see him.

At least one Singaporean is still attracting the attention of the most powerful men in the US.

Hear and see how they swan and swear at their own President and also Sinkieland.

Sinkieland government not worth a single cent in their verbal debates.

In Sinkieland, we have all the intellectuals singing praises of so and so giving their two cents worth of nonsense.

See even now many Hawn Siong sporting long hair like Kitaro believing that they are Sages at this age giving their parachoical opinions.
