ISIS recognising the military potential of Malaysian fighters

In a report in the Today paper, ‘From Janitors to snipers, M’sians moving up IS ranks’, Malaysian counter terrorism director Ayub Khan has in a way praised the growing importance of Malaysians fighting with the ISIS.  He observed that when Malaysian volunteers like Zid Saharani Mohamed Esa, Muhamed Syazani Mohd Salim and Fadzly Ariff Zainal Ariff first joined the ISIS movement, they were thought to be good enough as the low down janitors, cannot fight, cannot think or simple minded.  But the image of them as good enough to be janitors has changed. Their potential as fighters for the cause of ISIS has been recognized and they are moving up the ranks, promoted from janitors to snipers and suicide bombers.

So far, 14 have died bravely for the cause of ISIS. By the way the above mentioned had also died. Their fighting abilities, maybe bersilat skill, have also been recognized as a fighting skill for ISIS fighters, and their willingness to die for the cause must have won the respect of the ISIS leaders. Going forward, more would probably join ISIS and more will be volunteered as suicide bombers and snipers as well. And more will die bravely for ISIS.

Incidentally there is no need for bersilat skill as snipers or suicide bombers. For snipers, the animal instinct to kill is an asset. For suicide bombers, the willingness to die, to get blown up, must be the most important attribute. No need other skills, no need much thinking.

The Malaysians, maybe soon some Ah Kows and Muthus would also be among the suicide bombers, would soon earn a reputation as fearless fighters in ISIS. This must be a great accolade to be proud of, brave fighters, brave warriors.

There are many good potentials among the red shirt protestors to recruit. You can see the killer instinct in them.

The Chinese ambassador better be very careful and don't anyhow make comments or go to Chinatown.

What about Singaporeans?
Is it true?

"For 70% PAP voters, the willingness to Pay And Pay, to get bankrupted, must be the most important attribute. No need other skills, no need much thinking."

Stupidity knows no bounds.

These Matland Malay fighters with military potential recognised by ISIS are only a minority of Malays lah, maybe 30% or less. Just like those who voted against PAP are only a minority of 30%.

Majority, at least 70%, are law abiding and peaceful people who, just like the majority of other races, want to work hard and earn their living.

So majority wins lah, so that's why no riots in Matland, tio bo? Because those who want to fight and win had already gone to the Middle East already where ISIS is winning, and not to fight and lose in Matland.

What total rubbish is Redbean spouting now? You are totally irresponsible writing this article. Shame on you.

Are you 3 year old? Singapore just locked up another two yesterday.

Anon 9:51,

The report is published in Today and the ST. If I am irresponsible, then ST and Today must also be irresponsible. And the original article was reported in The Star. So the Star also irresponsible?

So all the papers are irresponsible?

Anon 9:51 has a point. The paper reported Malaysians as being recruited, RB reports it as "Malays". Two very different meanings and two very different intentions to give to readers. One gives facts about how vulnerable Malaysia is, the other implicates a particular race. But then what can you expect of RB who has always had an obsession to insinuate such racist slant?

Anonymous said...

All those recruited are not Malays.

Red Dot, you are so sick, twisting and turning like a slippery snake. Please confirm that those recruited are not Malays.

RB, these sickos are trying split hairs to make you look bad.

Oh dear, better correct myself for typing too fast and mixed up the word Malaysian and Malay. OK I have amended it to read Malaysians instead of Malay.

So Marxist = Chinese = Communist Terrorists? Is that the truth?

Anonymous said...

There were many elites from the Malay and Indian communities in the MCP and Barisan Socialist.

Anonymous said...

So LKY = PAP = Singapore? Is that the truth?

Hermit said...

But still, like what you said, "Most, if not all".....

So if in Malaysia, Malay = Muslim and most ISIS terror cells are Malay recruits...

Then in Singapore, Marxist = Chinese and most Commie terror cells are Chinese recruits?

Just using your racist slant argument.

Yes, truth hurts.

Red dot, so far, all the self-radicalized arrested in Singapore, how many are Chinese, and how many are Malays?

Anonymous said...

You are selective with your examples. The self-radicalized are all Malays. Marxists and CPM included many Malays and non-Chinese.

Still want to play the race card? I did not deny there are no non-Chinese. I went by your own words “most, if not all”.

If you look carefully at history, it is the Chinese who forged ahead with its Commie ideology. Chin Peng in Msia, Chin Siong in Sg. Some non-Malays were swayed, but the main movers were Chinese.

The logistics used to create havoc and riot against the govt then were also Chinese. Nantah, Chung Cheng High, Chinese High, the Chinese Clans, the bus workers union. Why so heavily weighted by Chinese orgs? In Msia, the CPM used the Chinese villagers as runners and feeders. Why not the Malays and Indians?

So all the claims that the commies were supported by non-Chinese as well is very weak. They number just but a few. The main force is still Chinese, and the ideology was to build a socialilst state that like Chinese mainland. The main bulk of the Malays and Indians stayed far, far away from the Commies. The only ones who the Marxists could really trust to riot and cause mayhem for the govt then were the Chinese orgs and Chinese villagers.

Truth hurts. Now lessee again...

JI = Malay insurgents = Malay terrorists?

Then we can also say,

Marxist = Chinese rioters = Chinese organisations = CPM terrorists?

Leave your race card behind. Terrorist is terrorist. No race is not vulnerable.

Hi Guys, please don't get carried away with your comments.

Uyghers are Chinese.

Like the play of words there. When you want to add the numbers to make it big, about everyone is “Chinese”, never mind they have their own unique cultures and feel more inclined towards another culture or practice – eg the ethnic minorities in China, including those from Xinjiang and Tibet. But when they rebel against mainland China and get into violent incidents, they are not considered “mainstream Chinese”. That's the trouble if you think along race lines. You pick and choose what suits you.

Like what RB said, let's not get overboard here. He has amended the main heading such that it has no racial implication anymore. Don't try to racialise a non-racial article just because race issues is your favourite topic.
